Unique & Innovative

First off, this app is really, really cool. It is a unique and innovative tool that could be used by business owners and craftsmen alike. However, I have two suggestions: 1.) Add an "enable flash" button so that the camera can be used in the dark2.) Get the stability and augmentation almost exactly perfect.

Begging twice for reviews... Excessive data collection

...while I’m saving first room? Seriously? Notifications? Why? You need to explain this all more. -1 stars #BadUXWhy do you need a street address to save projects? Email address? Wow, track, track track. Tremendously disappointing. -1 star. Accuracy seems pretty good but can’t remove initial calibration point and line to nearest wall. Maybe I missed something in instructions. Probably should guide you through first room instead of showing 5 screens before first use.Update: appreciate developer’s response, but on address and account details, you aren’t earning trust. Devs shouldn’t allow users to engage with app in stages and build trust. Sadly I’ll never know because of your info appetite.

I wanted to love this...

I love all things GIS and AR, so this seemed like a REALLY cool concept and I had big expectations for this app. In retrospect, I should have tempered my expectations. You can get fairly consistent relationships between the edges and corners of a room if you set your iPhone into a photography tripod so that the bearing and elevation are the only things that change, but even then, the best you’ll get is “that’s fairly close” and the precision of the measurements is so-so. It’s got some gadget appeal, but IMO it doesn’t outperform a steel measuring tape and a yellow pad, nor would I feel compelled to pay $10 per project to export from the phone to more useful media.The concept is sexy, but a smartphone can’t replace a surveyor and CAD program (yet)

Just junk

This app was yet another useless attempt at what should be a fairly simple idea: to simply measure a two dimensional space. I kept trying one approach over another, all in an empty, simple square room that was well-lit so I could test it out. It never got a single successful scan. The tools keep moving around, nothing was simple or intuitively laid out. And asking for all that info just to save a single room smells of this being more a data mining app.

Great concept with slightly flawed execution

I really like this simple use case for AR and was excited to give it a spin. I plotted out the points of my home-office and it was initially working really well. But by the time I reached the 3rd wall, previous points had shifted and were no longer in the corners of the room that I had originally placed them. As I spun around to examine my work, all of the points seemed to become more and more off from their original locations. Still, for a free app, it’s handy to get some general estimates of measurement.

Only for professionals , not a home floor plan app.

The whole app is designed for professionals. Requires creating a cloud account with the company . No way to export in the app. Will only make AR plan one room at a time . If you intend to have a whole home floor plan, this will not do it.Beyond all that. It is very good at exactly the work it’s designed for. Can make accurate measure of single rooms. Includes feature for adding door and windows to a room .Can take pictures with each “room plan” and even gives you option to edit the measurements after the fact. I wish there was a way to “stitch” the rooms together to make a whole home plan. I wish the developer would make a consumer version with export to pdf or svg .

Just a huge hassle

I purchased the app. Was instructed through the first use of measuring my room. The app is very intuitive and professional I’m sure a lot has gone into its development. But that’s where everything falls short. Once you save your project you’re directed to sign up for a website. I transferred my project to the website created a password and login but the project was not on the cloud website. After 30 minutes of frustrating back-and-forth trying to export the project to the website, as well as trying to figure out how to pay to view the project I gave up and deleted the app.

Great concept but tech isn’t quite there yet

The ability to create floor plans using AR could hugely change how many real estate related professions get work done. If I could rate the app purely in concept it would have 5-stars without trouble. Unfortunately, the technology isn’t quite there yet to make this practical in real life.As you make your way around the room, points slowly shift so the end product isn’t as accurate as it needs to be, and the larger the room the less accurate the product.Looking forward to seeing this product develop into a full 5-Star game changer.

Cool but a little buggy

The app is very cool and gives you the ability to map a room. Well it appears that works very well, I have found that in certain cases it loses its position by a few inches to a foot when mapping a larger room. Nice for experimentation, but I would not trust my project measurements to this just yet.

Great Idea, but It Just doesn’t function

The app worked perfectly the first time I used it, but then it just fell apart: lots of extraneous lines and measurements and couldn’t edit those out of the project. The programming is so bad that the screen becomes unresponsive (no, I don’t have an old iPhone). Even the hyperlinks became unresponsive. The app is a fantastic idea, but it’s not user friendly. I’ve never experienced an app that stopped the touch screen functionality.
