Not a bad app, but…

The subscription model is terrible. Why is it that when someone signs up they automatically get put into the 7.99 a week subscription, but when I went to cancel it, you can afford to offer me a 50% discount in a yearly subscription(which is apparently only $20) at 9.99? You’re telling me that you want me to sign up and pay $412 a year, but if I want to leave, you’ll let me have it for $10?The app itself isn’t bad. The info is solid and the camera app was helpful in diagnosing an issue with my snake plant. I’d even be willing to pay something like $4.99 a month for this, but the current subscription model feels unfair and exploitative.

Not useful

I downloaded this app to identify some succulents I recently purchased so I knew how to properly care for them and this app is useless if you don’t sign up for the premium plan. It wouldn’t let me identify more then just one succulent and every time I tried to identify another one it took my straight to the page to sign up for the premium plan. All I wanted was the names of the plants. I don’t know if the app is making me wait a certain amount of time before I can identify another one, but even if that’s the case that makes this app unusable for me cause why can’t I just look up the plants when it’s convenient for me. I got really frustrated with this app almost immediately after downloading it and using it for less then 5 minutes. Do not recommend

Clunky and doesnt work

Was immediately asked for a review upon opening before I've even had a chance to look at anything on the app. When identifying, a message ("did you find what you were looking for?") comes up before you've even had a chance to see the results. The other results are covered by the unnecessary message and then the options from there only take you away from the results you're trying to see. You know those apps/sites that are fake and built by emulating existing ones and you can tell something's off bc nothing rly works right? That's what this feels like. Not saying it's fake, but it's... off. It'd be understandable if it was free, but you need a subscription.

Needs some work

This app has potential. I didn’t need it so much for identifying plants, more so to identify what’s wrong with them. It does a good job at that but when it gives you solutions on fixing them, you can’t expand it to read the rest of the instructions. That section of the app does state that it’s in beta testing, and I have no problem paying a subscription once those kinks are worked out, but for as long as I have to Google the solutions after identifying them I’m not going to pay for it. And it doesn’t seem like there’s an option within the app to report problems or give feedback. I do like that it will set reminders for a watering, fertilizing and repotting schedule though.

This app rips ppl off!

I signed up & it said “free for 3 days” cancel anytime. I IDed one plant right away & then I unsubscribed. But lo and behold I got a bill for 7.99 anyway. Contesting this with my credit card company. I can’t handle unethical business practices like this. How many ppl will actually take the time & energy to contest. So extremely lame of them & icky. This practice makes them a lot of money. Gross! Do not subscribe!!!

Has Potential

The only reason I wouldn’t give the app one star is because it successfully identified all the plants I tried to identify. The app is not user friendly. There’s no back option, so you have to relaunch the app every time you want to identify a new plant. The app locks you into the home page and doesn’t give you the option to navigate through the app. I can tell the developers are at least trying but not yet worth paying $7 a week.

Please someone tell me if this is a joke app

I took three pictures of three different trees to identify with this app. Each of the three photographs came back with more than a dozen different trees most were not even in the ballpark of a common Japanese maple. The other two photos were equally obscured asking me the novelist which of these 8 to 10 photos of different plants. I wouldn’t suggest wasting your time nor certainly your money. I’ve had the app for less than 15 minutes and I’ve already spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to cancel my three day trial.

Quick, Easy & Super insightful! 🎍❤️

Cool app. Bought a bonsai tree from ikea and wanted to learn how to care for it, unknowingly there’s more then 1 kind of bonsai out there(I’m a newbie to plants LOL) but I wasn’t sure the exact species of my plant. I downloaded the app and less then a minute later I had my answer! The cool part about the app is, I didn’t have to do the free trial to get the information I needed, which at the time was just the name of the species, but I also included a ton of information regarding the plan specifically which was awesome! Excellent app definitely worth downloading if you have an interest in plants!! 🌳😊🪴

Wild eatables

I have only just begun, so what I want from this app is a description of the wild plants in my yard and all around that can sustain life when needed for a food source , I’m looking forward with great expectations. I’m. Sure I will not be disappointed.

$8 A WEEK!?!?? & months after I tried the free trial for one day insane

If I could give zero I would. Maybe this is for you if you have plants and like taking extra care of them but don’t have the time to Google or look elsewhere. Plus You’ll pay $8 a week… I would never pay that I would never even accept that offer so the fact that I just got charged that for a subscription I tried for free and said I wanted to end like two months ago at least is beyond me. I don’t understand why I just got charged now. Just a heads up guys, I don’t think any plant app or reallly any others for that matter is worth $8 each week!
