Got this before technology and apps nowadays.

Beyond the most dumbest storage app in life. I regret making this years ago to hold my photos. They started to charge a fee, and also aren’t allowed to host your images. It takes an awful long time to delete the 12k+ photos I have had on there, and save it to my camera roll and other storage photo apps. This is my third time paying money to get all my photos to delete the app in full. I lost plenty of pictures because it is so slow and takes forever to load and I never know if it’s the end of it or not. Goodbye to my priceless photos. I wish I had something different back then to hold my photos because this was such a hassle. Even on a computer.. or browser. And phone all in alll.

Terrible…

I opened a Photobucket account way back when it was free - then I forgot about it. I just received an email saying “don’t forget me! Or I will expire!”. I go through the process of resetting my password and figured it’s time to upload more pictures. However, I find out that I cannot access some of my pictures because:1. There are 399 photos saved in my bucket, and half weren’t available due to being over my “free” access limit. (However, half of the 399 were erroneous duplicates to entice me to purchase the membership.)I thought about it, and decided just delete the duplicates and then I’ll be back to my “free limit”. The only issue - I was not able to do anything with the videos, so I said forget it and bought the smallest plan. The order went through for $4 for 6months. Not bad, if the app would work. Now I can’t see any of my pictures - it’s just constantly loading. I figured maybe it’s my laptop acting crazy, so I downloaded the app on my phone. Not a huge surprise, but not working there either. This is super frustrating and inconvenient. Photobucket needs to fix the bugs in their system, and release my photos to me.

NEW UPDATE DELETES OLD PHOTOS/VIDS

Great going photobucket in “fixing” your problem and updating the app it caused me to lose years worth of photos and memories! And I figured “hm maybe if I buy a subscription they’ll return them” 🤔 NOPE! Just did it for nothing but don’t worry I’m about to cancel it right now. I don’t recommend this too anyone, only reason I still dealt with this app is because I started using it back in middle school and eventually moved on but I also had pictures on this app but now that you just deleted them all I guess this is where I officially cut ties with you 🤝

Petty petty company.

Photobucket would not allow me to access my photos without a membership because I was above the free storage limit. I then decided to delete enough pictures to be able to store my priceless photos from my childhood which seemed to work at first. The app does not allow you to download or save your photos so I left them in there. When I tried to access my account today I see that Photobucket deleted all of my photos. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has experienced this and I’m sure legal action can be taken against them for doing so. I will be looking into how to start a class action lawsuit against this greedy, terrible company.

Would Give 0 Stars If I Could..

I kept getting emails saying Photobucket was going to delete my photos if I didn’t buy storage, so I stupidly decided to pay money to be able to download all my photos back. One… You could’ve at least given previous members a warning that you were going to start charging so that I could’ve done this before hand. Instead, you scammed everyone into “buying” back their photos..And lastly, they had the audacity to change the file sizes of all my photos since I uploaded them in the mid 2000s. The quality of allllll 2000k photos I have are absolute garbage. Every. Single. One.Delete your account and use Google Photos.

Photobucket is an absolute GEM.

I have lost and broken so many phones throughout the years and there are so many moments and memories that were forever lost on those phones. But every now and then I’d remember that almost 15 years ago I created a photobucket and it is the ONLY THING that has withstood the test of time. Everything is stored safely. I’m so thankful for you guys.

ROBBERS & SCAMMERS

I made an account years ago way back when I was in high school maybe 2006 or 2007 and now they are accusing me of HOSTING!!! I wouldnt dare pay you guys to store pictures when I can store pictures on iCloud or google. If someone happened to make an account BEFORE you guys started charging they shouldn’t have to be penalized. Also if I need to delete pictures I don’t mind but I’m NOT paying for a photo storage that moves SUPERRRRRRRRRR SLOWWWWWW and takes up a lot storage on the phone. This is why I deleted the app. Then the system is also fickle. It freezes and send spam ads also. Photobucket went from 5 stars to 0 stars over the last decade.

Worst App ever

You Cant delete old pics won’t upload new photos but you constantly emailing everyone to say storage is full I’ve have deleted the app and reinstalled still it’s just buffering it’s an worthless app Plus when you try to share anything you have to Download the app and sign up just to see one pic/video It’s best to take screenshots but with doing that you have no information on location time or date, this app can only help you lose everything I would love to download my pictures back on to my device/ device’s but the technology this app uses seems to be from 1921 Sheesh get with the times!!!!!

Greed ruined a great thing

Been a user for many many many years. I had many things saved, made sure to keep it below the storage limit because I'm disabled and can't afford to pay. Then they added a limit to the amount of files along with keeping the same storage limit that I NEVER went over. So I was still under size limit, but suddenly over the limit of amount of stuff saved. Ridiculous and extremely shady business move! Years of making sure to sign in just to make sure my photos were still there until now when they removed all free accounts. Thanks for keeping my stuff hostage for years only for you to delete my account. All my stuff is gone, my stuff, stuff sent to me, my memories. Stuff uploaded from a dying computer. Memories that will be forgotten because I have memory issues. All this time I thought it would be my brain taking my memories first, but nah, corporate greed beat me to it. So thank you very much. Hope your happy with the extra money you get from the people who actually paid the ransom for their photos.

Just wish it didn’t lock me out without payment

I have used this since 2006 and it has always been ol reliable, but the cost is too much to hold all my storage and the fact that it shuts you out if don’t pay like it doesn’t let you see anything, everything comes back with like an “!” And you can’t see it. Definitely do not like that at all.
