Does the job well
I’ve been using this app for years and have never had any negative experiences. Easy to use and other than the ads popping up, it’s great.
hits you with ads before you’re first time ever and locks all features behind a paywall
there is a paywall for crop, a paywall for trim, a paywall FOR EVERYTHING! I got this app because I needed to add 3 words to a video I was using to help someone learn a technique to help them with something and it was completely unusable and useless even for that simple task. The positive reviews for this one without a doubt extremely fake. Ads before you get to step 1 seconds into the first launch, and paywalls on EVERYTHING!
Pretty decent app
Could be a 4 or 5 if it wouldn’t lose your spot when editing a video/picture. When switching back and forth between other apps such as my photos app or when I need to answer a text message ect., I click over to other app and when I come back to this one all my progress is being started over and that’s really really aggravating especially when I’m working on something and almost done with it then I have to swap over to something else for a brief minute or two and then come back to what I was editing and it’s no longer there you’re right back at the choose video or pic spot on the app and everything you have worked on is totally gone😤🤯 fix it and then I can fix my rating 😉
Amazing but I need help!!
So, I was making my video, and was on it for like 30 minutes. It turned out GREAT and I was so surprised by how the words were perfectly over the video. BUT, when I clicked preview, it just showed a black screen for the video!! After, I tried using a picture and that worked fine!! I’m so confused. Is there a step I’m missing?? I would love for the video to work. This app is amazing.
Absolutely LOVE this APP!!!
The only thing that keeps this App from getting 5 stars is it's inability to be able to hold when working on a project when bouncing from one App to another (for Ex. from it, back into Photos, and then back into Overvideo while working in it, while needing to make sure you are making progress. This is a HUGE WEAKNESS. But, overall, the program is outstanding! Thanks for a great App that with good upgrades will be wonderful!
Doesn’t do what you made it to do
This app is a horrible hodgepodge of an editing software. There’s a pay wall for almost everything except for putting text on videos, which is fortunate for me except, that feature, the feature advertised in the title of this app, doesn’t even work. Once you click on preview to see the video in its final form and get passed the barrage of advertisements the app throws at you, you’ll find out that your video isnt at all what you wanted. Instead you’ll see a black video with no noise and the only thing other than that you’ll see are words that you added to the video. This was a complete waste of my time and it’s sickening that you want us to pay for most of the features when the part that’s free can’t even do its job.
Very limited capability
Not happy with the limited options in iMovie on iPad, I tried this one to add texts to video. It works similar to adding a caption to video in iMovie except it allows you to specify the duration the text, which is a good option. Then it becomes more difficult (or impossible as I have not figured an easy way) to add different texts to different segments of the video. Not sure if has this functionality. Even if it has, it does not make it easy to use for a beginner. Will upload this app and look for another one for my iPad.
Great Texting App for Video’s
This app has all you need to Title your Video; annotate, crop and edit. It does it all and I’m glad that I found it. I highly recommend this app to everyone who does their own videos.
Gets the job done
I like that this app is very user friendly and you don't have to go to film school to use it. There are some adds but this is a great free app to have in your video making arsenal.Cons - the ads are a lil longer than they should be. It messes up sometimes which can be very frustrating.
Does not work. Terrible
Horrible user experience and when you crop your video, it doesn’t. It simply deletes your video instead or, only shows the outer edges on the preview screen. You don’t know what you’ve got nor where your video went to. All you see is off colored screen and any words you may have typed while hearing the video’s audio only. When the preview ends, you see an image of your video again. Really waste of my good time. I must have my money back.
