This app is awesome! Underrated!

The design and feel of this app is 10/10, and it has all the same function of the default calculator. Even without spending money, you get 3 different skins with different colors. You can even edit your mistakes instead of having to retype the calculations!

Makes routine math fun

The sounds, the animations all make basic math calculations a joy to do. If you tap on the numbers, you can even play a musical tune.

Beautiful, at a cost

Huge fan of Andy Works and the Not Boring line of apps. The UX is just unbelievably good—rich, immersive animation, modern aesthetics, and delightful design. However, I found myself disappointed in this calculator app, for one simple reason: it has significantly less arithmetic functionality than Apple’s built in calculator app. This makes me sad because I would so much prefer to use the Not Boring Calculator, but realistically, I can’t survive on bare-bones basic operators (+ - * /) and a percentage button alone. If they ever decide to make this calculator usable for standard, higher than 4th grade level math, I’ll be back (happily!) in a flash.

Awesome, beautiful design

I came across this app and thought it’s just a calculator, however as an artist the design pulled me in. The skins just make using it awesome, not to mention the fact you can back space on a equation if you accidentally type in the wrong number is awesome. No more hitting clear and starting over is awesome in its own right. After that I purchased the rest of the apps. I wish there where more! The rest of my phone looks very boring now. I’ve been searching for other apps to compliment these awesome apps and I can’t find anything. I can’t wait to see what else they do.

Not boring app, BORING calculator

This calculator looks fun and all but is a terrible calculator. For a paid app it offers marginally better functionality than the stock calculator app.This app should at least offer parenthesis for order of operations and square/ square root symbols to be worth it.Unfortunately despite the interference looking nice, you’re better off getting an app like Calzy to replace your default calculator which at least offers much more numeric operations.

Needs more Calculating possibilities

This app is great, it’s fun to use for simple math and it’s nice to look at—but it just doesn’t do the job if you need a real calculator. As someone in school, I need a calculator to be able to do certain things, and this has none of it. Most importantly it doesn’t have brackets, which are one of the most important parts. I would love this so much if I could use it when doing my math as a calculator, but because it’s so incredibly limited I find that I have to stop using it whenever I actually need to calculate something. Please add more!

Fun, but Lacking Power

This app is a joy to use for basic arithmetic. I just wish that it could do more than just that. I still find myself using the “boring” calculator for powers and more complex operations. In the future, it’d be great to be able to have a record of numbers that we could label, title, or put notes on so that the calculations don’t just disappear when we clear the calculator.Keep up the work, but don’t stop at the basics!

You’re charging 2 bucks a month to use a calculator that doesn’t even have a scientific function?And 10 bucks for a skin? So your app isn’t boring, even though it is, but it is ugly enough I’ll pay 10$ to change it? Cause that’s what you’re saying.

Super fun

I use this calculator every day. Can modify numbers if you screwed up entering them (vs starting over) and the skins are so fun - didn’t know it mattered if my calculator was pretty or not …but it does. NOT BORING!

Barebones and Buggy Calculator App

For a calculator app that is supposed to be pretty and costs 2$ a month minimum to work it is very upsetting to have it crash everytime I turn my phone on and off. Beyond the visuals and the ability to edit your mistakes there is nothing that puts this above the iPhone’s default calculator app, and for 2 smacks a month it is impossible to recommend.At least it looks very pretty!
