Interface keeps changing

Just when you get used to the interface, the developer changes it. Having trouble getting my albums to play now. After selecting an album it plays one song then bounces back to something selected previously. I don’t mind change when it adds to the application, but change just for the sake of change that makes the product less useful is frustrating. Back to the native music player for now. Will keep an eye on this app and update review if it changes.

WOW!! Satisfied my audiophile mind😂

First, a little about myself. I am an extreme audiophile with a taste for bass. I like to feel the thud of the bass in songs. Second, this app gives me my fix... first thing I did was tap on a song and then went to equalizer and switched on “XBass” and bam the audio was bass boosted but not so much that it overpowered the lyrics. The interface is extremely easy to use.Third, this app is free... for now. I would not mind paying for this app at all. Wonderful usage and an amazing app. (Ps if you are like me and want awesome sounding lyrics with great bass turn on “XBass” and turn the 10k all the way up, don’t mess with anything else... it’s amazing.)My requests to the developers, please make this app be able to play when iPhone is off so that I don’t have to leave it on lock screen in order for it to play.

Nice app.

Works pretty well if you want to EQ playback of your audio files. The sound is really quite good.Tested it on a few files and everything was smooth and had no problem whatsoever. Only 5 bands to mess with, but they were more than adequate. I use a Bert Kaempfert file “Remember When” which has a good assortment of instruments from the bass up to higher frequencies. Might not be a popular genre nowadays, but the audio quality never changes…even after many years since it was first recorded.Try it and I’m sure you’ll like it. Should things change in the app as they inevitably do, I’ll just delete it. Doesn’t take up much space either only 18gb’s or so.Nice job to the app folks, you built it well. Lastly, this is an unsolicited review by myself.

Good sound quality. Icon needs to be improved

Sound quality is clearly better than Apple’s Music player. I love the feature of x-bass. For that, I will rate this app as 5 stars. But I am really struggling with the look of the icons. I spent $1.99 to buy schemes, but icons (on home screen and on the side of songs) don’t change and they are still dark and black. Not everyone likes black. Hope this can be improved and there will be a choice for icon colors.

Equalizer, cross fade, 3D spatial sound

I took a chance and downloaded this app because I needed the ability to EQ some harshness on treble on my new wired headphones. I was pleasantly surprised at all of the other features this app included! I will not go into the details of what the app offers but I will tell you one thing that it doesn’t do. It doesn’t have constant pop up ads! If you like the app like I did just donate. Simple as that. I sent a suggestion in for a change and I was simply shocked as I received an email back from developer saying that he was going to include my idea in the next release! Are you kidding? A developer that is responsive?? This is something I am not used too. Try the app you may find you are no longer using Music(iTunes) like me.

Fix please!!!!!

Still having this problem in march 2022 and i have the current iphone. Yes -After jot using for a while - it crashed- and have to delete the app for it to work again - but still after i stop using - its back to square one—— delete app and re- install —-// Help!!! SOS - really like this app - but ever since I got the update - it crashes after the first minute!!!!’ Still the same problem In august 2021- have to delete and redownload app to work again- once I stop using and try to use it later- it crashes after 39 seconds. Yeah it works great once I redownlow it - but it’s irritating having to repeat process just to enjoy this great app- the best app for listening to music - except of course for this defect.

A Review Is In Order

I gave this app a 5-star review because it does the job AND it’s actually free. There are a few things you may want to know though. I had trouble figuring out how to use it and I was about to delete it when I realized the features are accessed just above the play button by sliding the “now playing / playlists / albums” to the left. I hope the developer finds a way to make that easier to know.The EQ is awesome and the volume is boosted! It’s just what I was looking for. It would be nice to be able to turn on and off the effects so I can hear the difference.I’m still trying to figure out how to use theme and 3D. I’m also having a bit of an issue with shuffle… I want to shuffle play within a playlist , but somehow I keep doing something that makes it shuffle all my play lists.Overall, I like this app.

THE BEST MUSIC APP EVER! 😮

I searched and downloaded SEVERAL music player apps to use instead of Apple's app "Music," because I don't like Apple Music's shuffling algorithm. Music Player X knocks out any other music player app out there. Music Player X is free, it uses all the songs you already have in your phone (you don't have to download songs directly to it), it does not drain your phone battery like the ULink and Sandisk iXPand app does, and its shuffling algorithm allows for actual shuffling. Again, this app is the best for listening music.

Only the Best!

I found this FREE app after my last music equalizer app of five years failed to update to 14.0.1 on both my Apple iPhone and iPad! So I looked and read the various reviews and this app was ”head and shoulders” above the rest based on positive reviews like mine. I downloaded the app and have been impressed with the app as I listen through the app using all my higher-end audio headphones on either device! The music quality is outstanding and the automatic queue of music in the random play is wonderful. The rotating turntable is a nice feature for us ”old school” listeners when playing that ”old school” playlist of Motown, R&B, and Jazz! Yes, opera lovers, Verdi sounds wonderful using the app with your playlist as well. So live large, take a chance, and download the app!

Finally! A Fantastic Equalizer!

For a long time I used an older EQ app that is unfortunately not available on the AppStore anymore. For months I tried to find a replacement with no luck. I even purchased a couple highly rated EQ Apps that were just downright disappointing! Then I came across Music Player X. It is simple, easy to use, FREE, and has no annoying ads!
