Amazing app!

This app is amazing! It tops ALL other minesweeper apps. The amount of customizability for even small things like lefty vs righty shows a lot of work is put into this game! I do have a few suggestions: Add a multiplayer mode, so that people can compete on the same board. 2. Make it so that you can make a custom game where you can choose where the mines go 3. I'm not sure if there is anyway to fix this, but the UI size for everything is a bit wack on phones, so I have to use a tablet for the UI to bebigger and easier to use. Overall amazing app, and I can tell a lot of work has been put into it.

Great app and great design

I was super impressed with this minesweeper app. Most minesweeper apps don’t have great iPhone implementation, but this one almost makes it seem like minesweeper was made for iPhones. It has zoom, but a quick way to get back to full screen. Difficulty, dimension, and menu customization (not to mention more advanced customization) and different themes. I also love the coin system, they are not too hard to get but it saves you in the rare event you meant to flag a tile but tapped it instead. The ads aren’t intrusive like other minesweeper apps and they didn’t bother me too much, but even so, I liked this app so much that I bought the ad removal anyway to support the developer. Streamlined and simple with great functionality. Love it!

Maps cannot be figured using only logic

I was wondering if the maps always ensured that there was a logical a way to progress by being certain of what is and isn’t a bomb, and if it would notify you if you reached a point in the map where there was no possible logical figuring that could be done (using the numbers touching the mines.) I kept on getting stuck and it was very frustrating- I just assumed that I wasn’t able to find the deductions to determine the bomb placement. I just cleared a board down to two squares in the corner. According to the layout of the board, the bomb could be in either square. Proves that the game will not alert you of a lack of information available to solve. Bad game design; I had been feeling stupid for being unable to determine mine placement in previous maps after getting stuck- it’s likely that there were just no logical steps left to take.

99.9% sure it’s forcing explosions to show ads after the recent update

I play this game competitively for multiple hours daily exclusively on extreme mode and have for over a year on this app, so I would notice this if anyone would. After the recent update over the past few months or so, we have seen more ads than usual. This is bad enough, except that I have definitely noticed an uptick in my “accidental bomb activations” where I go to flag a bomb, and it detonates it instead. Once in a while this is to be expected, but the frequency that this has increased just does not “ad” up, pun intended. Every time this occurs, an ad appears. It KNOWS you want to use your coins to continue rather than starting a new game because you were wrongfully scammed into clicking the bomb and it is obviously frustrating to anyone this happens to. So they know you won’t just quit the app, open it again and start a new game to avoid viewing the ad. You wouldn’t be able to continue with coins if you did that.

Fave minesweeper app

I’ve always loved minesweeper but had to stop playing for a while because I got too addicted to it haha. When the pandemic started and I had more free time I decided I was ready for minesweeper again, and decided to find an app to download. I tried a couple of the top suggested apps but they didn’t do it for me, something was just off. Then I downloaded this app and it’s great! It’s simple and not visually clunky like some of the other games, and the amount of ads isn’t too bad or annoying. It feels cozy just like I’m in my childhood room on my Windows 98 computer again! If you’re looking to play classic minesweeper, then go with this app!

GET THIS MINESWEEPER, NO OTHER ON APP STORE WILL TOP IT

Seriously for Real this is the best minesweeper app. Theres always debate about which controls are best, which gui options, themes, and bells and whistles. Traditional players may yell “i just want NORMAL minesweeper, heck all these extra things >:(“ guess what. You have the option to TURN ALMOST ANY OPTION OFF. This is the Pique minesweeper experience with custom boards, traditional boards, retrying level, turning off retrying levels, cool themes, classic theme, hold to flag, quick flagging, hints, auto zoom, no zoom, reset zoom, starting the game blank, starting the game with a path and so so so much more. If for a SECOND you have a complaint about a feature, just check the settings and you can change it. The ads are not intrusive, only between games. (I dont like that there is an ad DIRECTLY after the win, i wanna celebrate for a second, maybe move it to the start of the game please devs?) If they are annoying you or you just want to support the wonderful devs, removing ads is only 2$ and is the only paid feature in the game (except coins but those are just for themes and you can earn that yourself). This is the BEST, most comprehensive, most classic, and most new minesweeper experience. Do not waste your time with any other minesweeper iphone copies.

Just Like I Remember

I have a great fondness for the classic Minesweeper game and finally went looking for an app. I found this one and am so glad I did! The free version is great, the ads aren’t intrusive or obnoxious, and the gameplay was spot on. I did eventually pay to remove the ads for simplicity and the cost was reasonable and the process easy. I like the addition of earning coins for playing that can be used to get game board themes or to continue playing a game that you otherwise would lose (after setting off a bomb). I love the options! My only wish would be for written instructions for gameplay. It took me too long to figure out how to mark a ? on a square instead of a flag because I had to use trial and error. A petty problem, so 5 stars it is!

The Greatest Minesweeper Game of All Time

Hands down the best minesweeper I’ve ever played on mobile. For starters, while the game had ads, its a one-time payment of $1.99 to remove them. Most other mobile games require a weekly paying subscription to remove ads, however this one is a simple one-time payment, which is all that is necessary in mobile gaming in my opinion. Not only that, but this game allows you to customize pretty much everything, from animations playing to holding to place down bombs, it’s incredible. The freedom this game allows in it’s settings menu is something most other games lack, and its amazing. Not only that, but the game has Guess-Free mode, meaning it can generate boards that are simply based off of skill, and not literal RNG (Random Number Generator). A few other features include custom board sizes, with the freedom of choosing row count, column count, and even mine count. There’s also themes that you can purchase with in-game currency, being coins, and even a feature that allows you to double coins for a one-time payment of $1.99. There’s a statistics viewer, displaying your statistics for all difficulties and overall, including a win-loss ratio, which I think is pretty interesting. All in all, this game does everything right, and you bet I’ll be paying that two bucks just to remove ads, because it’s totally worth it.

It’s great but can improve

I personally think the game is great! It brings back the times when we only had computers! And this was my favorite game on it. It brings back the true essence of the game. But I would like to note that it is a little glitchy sometimes I’m playing and I put just a little ounce of pressure and it touches a box that I don’t want it to touch and sometimes it touches a mine, making me lose. Also I would be nice if they had a tutorial. When I was trying to show this game to my friend who never had a computer I had to teach them how to play the game. They constantly kept on losing, so it be great if there was a tutorial. But otherwise this game is great!

Best Minesweeper on Mobile

This should 100% be the first result on the app store, the ones listed above it are basically what I expect: heartless reproductions of minesweeper with little effort just to get ad revenue. This game is completely different, it's blatantly apparent that real effort and heart was put into making the game as flawless as possible. The themes are above and beyond, dark mode minesweeper is probably my favorite thing that I never knew I needed. With how much I play I earn coins at a very fair rate, and as long as I play well I only have to click out of a short ad every 5 or so minutes, which is very reasonable! I have one complaint, and it isn't even that much of a problem. When I play I typically tap the numbers more often than I tap clear spaces, so I wish I could try out an "inverted" control mode where a short tap was a flag and a bit longer would clear a single space. Edit: Thanks to the amazingly helpful developers, I found the thing that was right in front of my nose! I feel silly for not finding it on my own, but that just goes to show how much customizability there is!Truly above and beyond.
