Refreshes & Doesn’t Save Progress

I wanted to love this app, and I do love the *game* (which is the only reason I gave it stars at all), but the app itself has a tendency to refresh/restart in the background for no reason, and then doesn’t save whatever level progress I’m on. I’m not running several apps or on low power mode, I have space, the auto-refresh is turned off on my phone…it’s frustrating. I can be 95% through a level and then I check a text and boom, my progress is completely gone. I think I’ve only seen an “in progress” circle on a level ONCE with the option to continue where I’ve left off, it just doesn’t seem to recognize or remember any progress I’ve made. Makes it impossible to want to continue playing levels when I have to repeat them from the start five + times for no good reason.

Good but ads don't go away

This is one of the sleekest Minesweeper apps but the $3 purchase will not get rid of all ads. There are still ads to watch if you want to continue a game, which I guess is fair. But I'd really prefer paying a bigger one-time fee to completely be rid of ads. Or at least pay like $5 for a life system and only once all lives are up do you have to watch an ad to keep going.

Its a fun game and exactly what you expect.

It’s minesweeper and a very fun game. I gave the game 3 stars because of the adds, and the lack of features in the GUI. I would like to see a paid full version of the app without adds. I also wish there was a community high score bored, I find myself always being curious what the high score on this game is. Aside from my personal high score, it’d be nice if it had a static tab in the gui, so you could see your win to loss percentage; and also other various stats. The addition stats could be bombs blown up, tiles uncovered, total time spent playing, games won, games lost, etc. While these statistics don’t serve much purpose, I feel they could be fun to keep track of. It’s a silly feature you see in a lot of games, that I feel people have come to love.

Better

This app was great when I first started playing it a few weeks ago. Then the game started freezing whenever I would win, this was mildly frustrating but I could restart the app and continue playing. I was excited to see an update to fix that issue. After the update the app is extremely slow. Just to open the app takes over a minute. Once the app is open it freezes for 15+ seconds whenever the difficulty is changed or a game is finished. Game play also seems to be laggy and glitchy. This is more frustrating than when the game would freeze when you won.Update: deleting the app and re-downloading it seems to have fixed the issues, rating changed to 5 stars!

Best minesweeper game

I always thought the ads were a bit overbearing but after seeing that they added an extra life function I sought to look for new gamesBut after visiting other games, no other minesweeper game has this well defined graphics and they also had the extra life function. What sets this game up and above the rest is the quick access to the flagging button which helps you flag with ease

Ads and freezing

I used to play this game on my PC years ago, so when I saw it, I downloaded it. There are 2 problems. I paid to have no ads, but I still get the same number of ads, except now, after 8 seconds, I can elect Skip Ad and 3 seconds later, it closes. A shorter ad is not NO ADS, so don’t fall for this lie.The other thing is this game freezes every 2 minutes or so. You can just sit there and wait for it to go again, but the clock charges you for the down time. Or you can leave the game and come in later and let it reboot, but you lose the game you were in. What a disappointment.

Great gameplay but the ads are a problem

I really love the gameplay of this app. But the ads are a real problem. Some ads stay quiet with my phone set to vibrate and the game sound off. Others start blaring. That is a huge shortcoming to me. I’d also be open to paying a small fee to remove the ads yet that option is not available. I’ve played a lot of games in a short amount of time but I may have to go check out some of the other ones soon if the ad issues are not addressed.I’m also updating my review and lowering my rating due to the content of the ads. Many of ads that keep showing up are for adult-oriented games. There needs to be some way to avoid that. I’ve attempted to report ads and I keep getting them anyway. There is no way I could let my kids play this game and I’m going to have to start looking for one they does not include the smutty ads. I’ve lowered my game rating accordingly. I love the game but the ads and type of ads make me no longer want to play this game.

Not good, but still addictive!

This is your classic mine sweeper. Very addictive and time consuming. The problem is that the game freezes up! It will lock for five seconds and then start up as you are taping on a square in frustration. It will go black and shut down. The only way I have found around this issue, is to put your phone into airplane mode. The ads that want to play in between your games seem to affect the way the app reacts. But when you are in airplane mode, you no longer have the gift of adds to undo or to let you continue on. You have to use what ever coins you have saved up. Very frustrating!

Phone Overheating and Slow when playing this game

I played this game for about a month, but I just can’t take it anymore. After you win a game or switch to another difficulty, the game starts running super slow and my phone starts overheating. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and that did not help at all, just lost progress on the daily login. I can’t keep playing this game with how slow it runs I sometimes have to wait 15-20 to tap one tile, and that doesn’t work for me since I try and beat my times. The GUI is nice, however, and I like the ambient music. I just can’t play a slow and laggy game.

Great game!

I love the daily levels, the unlimited auto-generated levels that you can customize and create yourself, and everything else about this app. There also aren't many ads, either. Lots of mobile games are low-effort and they show you an ad every 30 seconds or something, but this one doesn't. The gameplay is fun, classic minesweeper, and the ads are not annoying at all. There was clearly lots of effort put into this game and I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a new app to download!
