Two considerations and comment

Starting from the bigger picture, I would like to thank the developer for his contribution in bringing such huge content in a simpler approach, which I can say some part of the church in a small app, so that everyone can have access. In the meantime, our church, especially religious issue needs serious caution while getting prepared in its contents and message. In almost all areas, in both the Ge’ez as well as the Amharic versions, I see lots of spelling errors. Had this been a magazine, it doesn’t matter when compared to the bigger picture. However, in such religious issue, faith cracks or drifts would be eminent if spellings are not placed correctly for the reader. I wish/hope everyone understands this. I trust, for the developer, to correct this will not be a big deal compared to the effort exerted to prepare such huge content. last but not least, in less than 24 hours of my download, it got crushed and I was obliged to remove it and download it again. This is something serious which needs to be corrected especially to help people to have it operate efficiently. Finally, I would like say, God bless you!

Mezgebe Hiwot is a huge app that is designed by compiling more than 12 previously developed applications and more than 300 Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church Books. The Applications that are included in this huge app are Mezgebe Haymanot, Geez Amharic Bible 81, Mezgebe Tselot, Tsewatiwe Zema, Metsihafe Kidase, Metsihafe Seatat, Metsihafe Sinksar, Melka Kidusan, Mahilete Tsige, Gibre Himamat, Haymanote Abew, Amde Haymanot and Utuba Amenta. The application is comfortable to get all services at one place.

Mezgebe Hiwot is fully customizable and allows you switch between night and day modes. The application also allows you to easily navigate between books, chapters and categories. Features of the App Theme • Material Design color schemes (Normal, Night and Brana colors). • Setting for switching between Night mode and Day Mode Multiple book collections • More than 12 Previously published Applications included • Multiple books (>300 books) Navigation • User can configure the choice of translation and layout within the app. • Allow swiping between books • Book names could be displayed as list or grid views • Supports single pane view, two pane view, and line by line view of up to three translations in a single pane. Fonts and Font Sizes • You can change fonts sizes from toolbar or navigation menu. • The app uses true type fonts for main view. you can include your own fonts too. Text Copy and Share • To copy a text to the device clipboard, tap on the text to select it. Then select the Copy button from the text selection toolbar. • To share a text with someone else, tap on text to select it. You can choose to share by text message, email, WhatsApp, etc. Contents • Book contents are rearranged and missing parts included • Colorful texts for the name of God, Jesus, St. Mary and Saints • Notices and Orders in the book are written in italic for emphasis Interface translations • Added interface translations in English, Amharic and Afaan Oromoo. • Changing the app Interface language will change menu item’s name. Search • Powerful and fast search features • Search the whole words and accents • Number of search results displayed at the bottom of the page Settings screen • Allow the user of the app to configure the following settings: • Book selection type: list or grid • Red Letters: show the name of saints in red • Show Verse numbers • Text layout: Verses in paragraphs or one text per line.
