Good idea, poor execution

Used with my iPhone XR and could not get accurate measurements. The measurements were off anywhere from 0.5” to 2” even though I followed directions and tried multiple techniques. I would not count on this even for rough measurements.

Love it but need a tad more accuracy

Love it- works great. It at times is slightly off though. If you can adjust it just by the smallest amount it will be perfect. Huge help and game changer.

Great for ballpark measurements

Love having something to get approximate sizes in my pocket. Not going to replace a tape measure for professionals (yet), but for things like furniture shopping etc. where being within a couple of inches is good enough, this is great. Just be sure to read the tips in the settings so you know how to get the best results. A couple of suggestions for the devs: add a “flashlight” feature to the measure screen so the app can be used in dimmer areas. Also, on iPhone X there doesn’t seem to be a way to exit settings!

Trash as expected

I tried this app expecting to be surprised… I wasn’t at all. What’s more surprising is how many people thought this app would actually work… How the heck are you supposed to measure some thing based off of an image? Since every camera makes things look a different size, it’s shocking that so many people expected this to be in point accurate. Of course it’s going to be off a little bit LOL. I could take a picture of a cabinet and take a picture of the same cabinet and it would look different sizes… it’s really just an absurd concept to begin with

Somewhat accurate

It’s pretty good for estimating and stuff, but the app tends to underestimate its calculations. For example, I used it to measure a 1 foot ruler and it gave me a reading of 10-11 inches

Super Useful

Who needs a ruler when you have augmented reality? Seriously- future is now. Only critical remark is when you go into settings there's no way or that I'm aware of. No X, no back arrow, etc. You have to close the app and reopen it after you apply settings.

Just right app! Love it!

This app saved me so much time. I needed to measure how wide a piece of furniture was while shopping in a store and this app was perfect for the job. It was fast and extremely simple to use. I pointed it at one side of the couch then the other and bam I had what I needed to make a decision and make my purchase. I saw a few other apps in the store too and downloaded some others thinking I may need more and was surprised how so many of the other apps were just plain junk. The ones that were good rather were too costly for my simple measuring needs or had so many features I didn’t even know where to start.For those who say this app isn’t accurate (none of them are precise 😁) they all had the same challenges. You have to place your starting and ending points by actually getting as close to the spot you want to start and finish your measurement. You can’t just stand in one spot and point at something off in the distance and expect it to work. Great job Lowe’s I love your stores and your shopping app. Thanks for the new tool on my 📱.

Worthless

Absolutely worthless. I measured off yards for distance, 10-20 for instance. It would read out in 8-16 inches most of the time. Once in awhile it would switch on and off to feet which was totally inaccurate as well. Quite disappointed. Nowhere to make adjustments etc.

Inaccurate

Not sure what to expect out of a nap such as this, however downloaded it to see if this kind of AR is going to be useful. Found it only gave approximate representations of measurements and you had better get out a tape measure if you want a true measurement.
