Good free app but extras too expensive

The daily free art is enough to keep you busy and there is a decent selection of free art in the individual collections. But to pay the extraordinary prices for weekly or even monthly is outrageous. I get my Marvel Unlimited subscription for about the same with access to tens of thousands of comic books. Would love to have access to the other brushes and fills but not at those costs. App can be buggy at times with crashes and pages that come up as blank. But all in all a good time waster. Just don’t waste the money for a membership.

I love this app

I think Marvel Color Your Own is a great app. It's fun and relaxing and has lots of great features, from different brush types, to tons of different colors and special effects. There's enough variety to keep me interested, but it's also simple enough for my 7 year old to enjoy. It has a great selection of pages to choose from, with new ones coming out all the time. I have read some of the negative reviews, like "Could be Better" and feel like some of these people don't understand how to use the app correctly as some of their complaints aren't really accurate. I would recommend this to any Marvel comics fan. It makes be feel like I could be a comic book artist!

Is it just me???

First of all, I would like to proceed by stating my experience and opinion. I really enjoyed the app to begin with and thought it was a very well developed game. But, over time I noticed two major flaws and red flags for me. The first flaw being most of the pages are locked and I understand they want you to buy premium but more than three fourths of the pages are locked. Next, every time I was more than 50% finished and it would glitch and put this staticky pattern looking black shapes over my hero’s I coloured and take the paint off completely, while this made me more than frustrated I could never remove it completely and frankly it just wasted my time. I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this glitch but I hope it can be fixed soon. If anyone has experienced this aggravating glitch leave a response or comment letting me know what your review on this app was, and opinions on the program.

Great app and great potential

The color ability works great, and the art/panels available were all too cool that I only lasted a week before expanding into the subscription trial.Improvements: 1. There should be some info/data about the comic while coloring. Things like issue number and year. Also, An original version of the page to reference colors would make the coloring experience more fun2. DC comics need their own version of this3. I think some organization tools for pages you’ve colored would make great features

Apps Don't Design Themselves...

I really don't understand the people who complain about the cost of this app. It's less than the cost of a cheeseburger a week. Like, seriously...? The amount of work that goes into designing, maintaining, improving, and marketing apps like this would blow your mind. These artists and developers are real people and this is their real job. They deserve a paycheck like everyone else. This app is awesome and really one of a kind---I'd be happy to skip a cheeseburger to contribute instead to quality work like this.

Could be better...

Maybe if they added a zoom in /out and or a fit to screen button? I like the pictures and would love to color a lot of the locked ones...BUT it gets really frustrating when you try to zoom in to get all the little spots by pinching you’re recoloring stuff you already colored. Sometimes you don’t realize till you finally get it to zoom out and the you can’t undo enough times to get it back and even if you do you still HAVE to zoom back in to recolor the little spots again. I LIKE a lot of the brush options that come with the free option and there’s plenty of stuff I’d like to try with the paid but I’m not paying for anything when it’s frustrating just to use what’s already available.

App is steeling your money

I love Marvel, and I love to color. The app functionality is actually pretty neat. It is missing some Apple Pencil features such as double tap to change tools, and most drawing apps when connected to a pencil uses your finger as an eraser, this app doesn’t. So why am I giving this app a 1 star review? Their subscription pricing. Their yearly option ($25/year) isn’t bad, I was ready to subscribe to that! But then I noticed something. They try to trick me, and all of their customers into subscribing weekly for $5, which comes out to $265/year. They put the price in the fine print, and promote the 7 day trail. This is shady business practice and Apple should step in. Check your subscription settings on this app to make sure you’re not overpaying!

Marvel color your own

I really love this app However it needs hundreds more coloring books and pages from all marvel movies and heroes and villains and we all don’t have enough money for subscriptions on this app so please do Free coloring books and pages because I like to color pages plus not every app has subscriptions so how about watching short ads to unlock them and we can keep coloring

Excellent, but expensive and restricted

good app. I always liked Marvel so I always liked this app a lot. However, my only problem has always been that the App is very restricted in its free form so it becomes a bit boring and most of all, HARD to be able to color it 100%. The subscription is also very expensive and I wish that the “Ultimate Access” was cheaper or at least they added more colors and fills to the free version. if only they had a 12 bucks annual subscription. It also bothers me a lot that you can only color the first page of each chapter of a book except the daily pages. However the app is still very good and I highly recommend it as it has a good variety of books from Darth Vader to Young Marvel to Tsum Tsum. If you are a fan of Venom, Captain America, Doctor Strange or Thor (which are the heroes that appear most often) and you don't mind that SOME drawings look bad, this is your coloring application.

I love to color marvel characters like the game you made I really do you like the game you made because it allows us to color. I’ll give you a five star review because I like this game and I think it was a good idea for you to make it actually a really good idea. Do you Think that you could make a nother game like this. I’ve always loved Marvel characters I’ve always watched it and I’ve always love to color in my coloring book since I was five it was actually a marvel coloring book but I really thought that it was a zombie coloring book because some of the characters look like zombies are we start the Marvel characters were zombiesBecause I was making up a comic book like that. I really hope that this game stays around forever because I think it will be a very good game for everyone and I think everyone will like it.
