so this is a role play game but all characters have the same abilities which is basically attack. What’s the point? And after each level you start over? What’s the point? What do you do with the money and gems you collect? Where’s the store to upgrade equipment? There isn’t any? Then WHAT IS THE POINT! This game is rated EF.....Epic Fail. Full disclosure I didn’t get past the second level after spending the time to replay the first level with all characters thinking I need to give them all money and experience. As I started the second level my money was ZERO and no stars on my marble. Complete waste. Deleted it immediately.
This game is fine, I guess. My son wanted to play online and I’ve already set all the Game Center permissions to allow, but it still says his Game Center account isn’t allowed to play online. He can play tons of other GC games online. But apparently he needs permission to have unrestricted access to porn in order to play this online. Two stars because the game isn’t total crap, but this is a pretty ridiculous restriction when I have all GC options set to ALLOW.
Attempted to play multiplayer with our kids but it failed each time. We were all on the same network sitting next to each other. Unacceptable in 2020. Also, this game is filled with irritating impediments instead of skill-honing challenges. Additionally there’s meaningless collectibles and a complete lack of character upgrades. Boring.
This is the first Apple Arcade multi-player game that I was able to get my 7 and 9 year old to play (mostly) cooperatively! It reminds me a bit of the 1980s game where greed can score you more points than the others. On the big plus side, we were able to hook up 4 game controllers to the Apple TV and all play at once. Unfortunately, the current version seems to have troubles playing multi player across devices. You need to get the mechanics are down at the beginning, but you get used to the marbling effects. Even those without the video game gene (like my wife!) can contribute to the team since falling off a cliff allows you to rejoin the party fairly quickly.I’d recommend this for those of you looking for a game that will let you progress even if you aren’t the most intense gamer.
The game is great so far, but I’ve only rolled through the first level, haha. Graphics are awesome, my only complaints is that I can’t figure out what to do with the spots where light is shining up from the ground. Maybe it’s just visuals, but that wasn’t my assumption. Otherwise, it’s fun so far!
I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with using the ‘Join a party’. I suspect it’s related to the Game Center account being under a minor (my daughter). I made sure I set up the correct settings under her Screen Time (I.e. I set it to ‘Allow’ for all the Game Center Content & Restrictions categories). Situation occurs in Apple TV (4K) and iPad (10.2 gen 8). Side note: Joining A party works fine in Lego Brawls - so I’m thinking it’s an app specific issue?!? Hopefully a developer can look into this - it’s a really fun game but sometimes I am not able to play locally with my daughter - would be nice to play online using the ‘join party’ function.
This is just a suggestion if the app updates I suggest that you add a heath bar to the boss fights and mini boss fights so we know how much Heath the opponent has also I really hope we get more areas to explore and play in if there are going to be future updates the story line if great the characters and their designs amazing but I’m main hoping for update and new areas to play in because there aren’t that many areas and it get a bit boring after you finish everything I really hope for updates for new areas
Like a good marble. This is def one of the most polished games I have seen on the arcade! Really smooth, lots of attention to detail, fun voice acting, constant terrible puns... basically everything you would want out of a game about marble people!
First of all, the graphics, sound, story are all top notch, really well done. However, on my iPhone 11 Pro during the tutorial where you had to tilt your device to move, I was stuck in a corner and couldn’t move. Luckily I figured out to go to the settings to calibrate my device, but this is an easy bug that should have been caught. Then I went into the first zone of the game and I literally hit the pause button at least 20 times. Not even exaggerating. It was so insanely annoying. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put a pause button next to the attack button should give back their paycheck. And anyone who tested this and actually used the tap controls should have found this instantly. Fix these two issues and it’s easily a 5 star game.
Local multiplayer used to work. Now no longer works on child accounts under apple family share. Can not create nor join games. All screentime settings look correct. Other multiplayer apps still work properly. Was a fun family game until this issue.
