This is honestly the best app I have downloaded regarding anything photo related! I was a bit worried the app wouldn’t work well because i haven’t seen other apps similar to this but it met all my expectations! I’m a person who typically takes photos with the live mode on and I get a beautiful moment or moments but the final picture looks to be super low quality :( but with this app I can save the photo as a video and as an outcome the quality looks better and still captures different movements 🙇🏻♀️🥸👍 10/10 would definitely recommend : )💕
Any cloud other than iCloud Drive doesn’t accept Live Photos, it just turns them into normal still photos. This app made it so easy to convert all my live photos to quick videos so that I could keep them in full when I backed up. If you are low on phone storage because of photos, use this app.
Wow was going to turn off live pictures until i saw this app. This actually makes apples live picture feature useful. Easy interface as well with no watermarks, I don't even remember the last time I reviewed something but this app deserves it.
This is what I needed!... easy and simple to use for convert live photo to still photo selecting the specific frame best looking. Not as other App that use is limited, where you are requested to buy the pro version to achieve the same as this App without any cost.
To be fair, I have used (and loved) this app daily for years. Was easy to use and incredibly functional. Since the latest update (iPhone x iOS 12.1.2) the ads endlessly loop and are so obtrusive. As soon as I try to export the gif to iMessage the ads just keep looping until I force quit the app. There is no way to bypass the app. It has made the app quite frustrating to say the least and I will have to look for alternatives as I see no way to pay to get rid of them.
Apps seriously don't get much better than this. This tool does exactly what it says, does it extremely well, makes it simple to reduce GIF sizes but stays out of the way. I mean, seriously, you should charge for this! At least add a tip jar IAP!
I have been using this App for two years. It is easy to use and works well. I use it for work photos every day. Take a Live Photo and pick out a frame from the Live Photo stream which captures what I need and e-mail or save. Try it... Just bought a new iPhone and was looking for a way to convert Live Photos to video. Found it. Simple and easy. You should keep building apps.
Not only is it free but it also lets you pick and preview. A few simple options are all I really want in a converter app and this gives them perfectly.Sometimes I do not care about perfect and lossless quality... and I can choose whether to have it or not. Most of the time I just want a nice 1Mb gif and I can actually make my own decision on whether I prefer smoother frames or crisper images.Keep up the great work 👍
The App Help link leads to an empty Wordpress page - would much prefer to have email contact to report bugs rather than in a review. LP opens and runs fine on iOS 10.3.1 + iPhone 7 but it won't read Live Photos taken with this phone, only ones people have sent me from the iPhone 6. Google Motion Stills reads these photos ok, however. I tried moving them into a new album but they still won't show up in LP. Looks like it just needs a compatibility update. The app does just what I was looking for: to extract frames from Live Photos. Please fix! :)
I unfortunately moved the live photos I wish to convert into another album. They are no longer in the Camera Roll -- the default location that LP loads. Even though I've copied the photos back to my iPhone in another Album, when I select "Album" to load photos from a different album, the LP app crashes.Eventually I found a workaround. Snap a "Live" photo. It's in the Camera Roll. Now LP finds the one Live photo in the Camera Roll and lets me search other Albums without crashing.However!... (1) The app does not preserve the correct orientation of the original photo. (2) The app doesn't even preserve the original aspect ratio!! The only thing preserved is some portion of the original photo and the metadata. I appreciate the latter, but the other flaws are unacceptable. I guess you get what you pay for. I suppose I need to write my own app.
