Very very good game but can be improved dramatically

Even though it says simple it really isn’t but complicated instead but still has many customizability and you can build rockets, planes, rovers, and even cars! One thing I would really like is real sized solar system and everything our real world has! May be hard to implement but will be worth it very much to show the vastness of our universe One big thing I really love about you guys is that you put this on the App Store with the same price for both iOS, iPadOS, and MacOS! Unlike other games this is very good way for us to save money if we use it cross platform and I respect you guys for it! Thanks for bringing such a good game to mobile 👍Also because of the vast majority of stuff you can build and the ability to be ported to mobile this shouldn’t even be called SimpleRocketsMaybe “SimpleEngineering” lol

Needs a few fix’s

Ok well on its own the games fine apart from a few things like needing more parts to build with and it needs a better editor now the Rest of the game, when your trying the maneuver node maker it’s really glitchy and half the time you can’t really get vary small moves because for some reason the maneuver buttons have snap move that and the fact that after you make the node you still don’t know when to start your engine so it’s pretty much just guessing all of that combined makes getting any ware practically impossible, and with the fact that the Builder is hard to use it makes even getting to orbit vary hard and with other planets just forget it, Now I think it has a lot of potential it just needs a lot of additional things a lot of which I’ve already talked about so please listen.

Fantastic, well worth the $5

I personally am a huge fan of space simulators. I started back in late 2014 with a simple indie game that went by the name of Simplerockets. I shared it with my 5th grade elementary school friends and we got hooked. We spent hours emailing each other our newest save file to get another to add a new module to a space station, or a satellite in a far out planet. Now in my sophomore year of high school, I sent this game to them and they were ecstatic. We all preordered the game and so far are enjoying the game more than the original. I personally have been following the games progress, and have beta tested both the PC and Mobile versions and loved every second of it, and I hope to love the rest of it as well. The game looks beautiful on both platforms, and allows you to be creative in a way you just can’t in other games. I love everything you’ve done Jundroo, and best hopes to your future endeavours.

Great idea, horrible execution

I like this game and it’s graphics, physics, and a 3d way of playing. However, the title is misleading once you try to build. I’ve spent two hours trying to build a rocket that can orbit. In other games, like SFS I can do this in two minutes. It is complicated, and I am not very knowledgeable about games like KSP in which people say this is like that. What really bothers me that there is not a tutorial. Despite having a advanced building system in which you are not locked when building, hard to manage movement and sizing controls, you guys don’t add a tutorial. I deleted the game and I have to say I was disappointed I wasted my money on the game. Not everyone is Einstein in rocket games you developers. Everything else is great, like graphics. Though I do not recommend this game unless you have an iPad at the least, as phone is just a massive pain. I might come back to this soon, in the mean time you guys should consider creating tutorials.A suggestion I have would be to have advanced and then beginner building systems so that new players can play without wanting to throw their device across the room.

Great graphics, progression, controls, physics… boy, everything here is beyond fantastic!

1. The planes are amazing 2. The graphics put KSP to shame, and are at least a smidge better than anything KSP 2 has 3. The hardware requirements are super accessible. The fact you can get a DESKTOP that will STRUGGLE to run KSP 2 with MODERATE graphics? Squad must not be trying! Jundroo? You can at least manage 30FPS+ on even BETTER graphics on a THREE YEAR OLD IPHONE 12 is just amazing!!!!!! 4. They listen to the community so much! I left a yt comment on their channel saying that the “SR2” on their app logo was confusing considering their name wasn’t “SimpleRockets 2” anymore, and they removed it! 5. The game is so versatile that the first time I got to orbit in Career mode was when my mom was driving me to school. Wonder why my mom drives me to school? Look below 6. The game is so easy even I, a pre-teen, can understand a lot of the stuff that goes on. I have yet to see a single space kraken in the Juno planetary system. Speaking of planetary systems, 7. You can make your own planetary systems, on mobile! Ok my cursor is going wacky now, all I have to say is that I would like to give whoever made the physics engine a big fat hug :)You shouldn’t get this if you want some KSP knockoff, you should get this PERIOD.

It’s fun except for the rocket building part

Rocket building takes 10-30 mins not because it is complicated (like ksp is) but because the controls for moving and placing parts take several tries to get right (specifically placing radial separators) the mirror tool is completely disfunctional, as it mirrors them about 45 degrees off of where the first object was placed, and not anywhere near the opposite side, making getting a proper center of thrust next to impossible considering you need to manually place the separators every time. Flying rockets is incredibly easy, the game changed from 2d to 3D flying mechanics well, but building rockets is frustrating and building rockets correctly is even more of a challenge. The hit boxes for the arrows to make parts bigger clip through the object so you are likely to completely screw up and change the size of a fuel tank while spending 3-5 minutes trying to place it on a radial separator, messing up the center of mass and causing you to need to start the hard and grueling process all over again. Even if you know the exact parts to use and where it still takes ages to build a rocket, and even more to build a functioning one, I might still play but it’s just not intuitive at all.Edit: forgot to mention there is no tutorial at all, the only way you can build a functioning rocket is if you understand ksp mechanics with center of mass, lift, and thrustEdit #2: there is a tutorial apparently, I just never ended up seeing it

So much potential but INFURIATING controls.

I really want to do more with this simulator but I just can’t work around the controls. Some examples. I’ll have my view just perfectly the way I need it then go to use the selection tool, but instead of being able to grab the tool it moves the screen. Grrrrr. Other times the tool will do things and I don’t know why. Sometimes it will do that and it will be helpful and I’ll want to do it again but can’t. Other times it will do some thing inexplicably and I want it to stop and it won’t. Like duplicating everything I try to manipulate. Sometimes I will be able to resize and object other times I can’t on that same object. Why?I bought this years ago when it first came out and I believe it started you out with a tutorial which might help me now. But I can’t find a way to access it. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app and no tutorial. Again why? I understand the controls are a bit of a compromise on a touchscreen device and maybe are better on PC? But here they need to be improved, VASTLY improved as they are not at all intuitive.

Warning: Requires Thinking

Ever since I started playing Orbiter on my dad’s laptop 10 years ago, I’ve wanted something like that to play on my phone. Well, here it is. I loved SimpleRockets 1, but 2 just blows it out of the water. There is literally no limit to what you can do. To the people leaving bad reviews saying it’s “too complicated” or “impossible”: there are plenty of other mindless games out there for people like you that like to just open a game and play without having to think about what you’re doing or do any planning. This isn’t one of those games. Don’t fault SR2 or the developers because you can’t put the time in to figure out how to use it. This game is all about experimentation, design, and tweaking. It’s not the game you just pick up and mess around with for 15 minutes on your lunch break. The controls can be a bit overwhelming at first. I know I was, but I got them down within a day. It is kind of a lot of information to fit into a small screen but honestly I can’t think of a better way to do it so I don’t fault the developers.

Good game but I need to know some stuff.

Hello! Simplerockets 2 is a good game but I need to know some stuff about it. Why do we only get to use the space shuttle in the mission where it is featured and why can we not put it on the Boeing 747? Also, The game keeps crashing on my iPad uncontrollably. When I use big rockets sometimes on launch the game crashes. Even when I use small rockets or planes it crashes. Could you fix that? And I think people should have the ability to set parts of their rocket or plane on fire. When we just have to explode them to destroy them it isn’t as fun. Why can’t we use the shuttle in the sandbox though? Please let us use it and let us be able to put it on the Boeing 747. That would be awesome. Some of us are not smart enough to build the space shuttle onto the Boeing 747 ourselves so it would be nice if you added a Version of the Boeing 747 with the space shuttle. Thanks for reading this!

Nice Job! But I Have Suggestions For This Game.

Please add better iCloud save so I don’t have to re-download the app when it crashes and I lose all my progress in everything. Also, please add a tutorial in programming the screen thingy (I forgot what it’s called) so people won’t have to take forever to make a button work. Wait—are you working on one? If so, ignore my last sentence. And with the screen thingy, I make two buttons and it thinks that when I press one button, it does what the other button is supposed to do. I programmed it all correctly, so it should work how I want it to, but it doesn’t.Message to SimpleRockets 2 users:If you’re game is crashing every 5 seconds, I figured out how to make it go away! All you have to do is reduce some of the quality settings. It doesn’t stop the crashing, but it makes it crash every 5-10 minutes.

DESIGN ROCKET AND JET ENGINES Engines can be adjusted in a myriad of ways, such as changing the power cycle, combustion pressure, gimbal range, fuel type, and adjusting nozzle performance and visuals. You can customize an engine to be a power house for lift off, or to be a super optimized vacuum engine that maximizes Isp for interplanetary travel. The engine's performance affects its visuals in flight too as shown by the exhaust's expansion or contraction based on its interplay with the atmospheric pressure. Shock diamonds are pretty but they are a symptom of suboptimal engine performance! If you don't care about any of this, then you can just attach a pre-built engine and hit launch! PROGRAM YOUR CRAFTS Easily drag and drop code blocks to program your crafts to log telemetry, automate them, design your own MFD touch screens, etc. With Vizzy, a programming language designed specifically for Juno: New Origins, you can expand the capabilities of your crafts while learning programming, maths, physics, etc. REALISTIC ORBIT SIMULATION Orbits are realistically simulated and support time-warp so you don't have to wait several months to reach another planet.
