Wow, astonishing.

Hi! Very nice simulator, very inspiring to me, I love aircraft, but this game thought me how to land a rocket. Correctly. Very amazed.I’ve always wanted to go to space, very nice simulator. I like the assist thing you’ve added and a tutorial / briefing, it has helped me a lot. I play Kerbal Space Program, and I was terrible at landing rockets. Very nice game, BUT, please make the flames or exhaust look better, still very nice sim. If I made a video, I would give a shout out to you. Grade A+. Have a nice day!

Wonderful Simulator

I am a simulator addict, I love everything simulation. I’ve played X-Plane for a good bit and it’s absolutely amazing and seeing my passion of Spaceflight be implemented into the X-Plane engine is amazing. One error I see though is that the engine placement is a bit outdated, on SN8 there are two SL raptors on the belly side and one SL raptor on the window side not the other way around. This helps with ascent by only tilting the starship on the pitch axis not yaw axis, and helps the landing flip because the two engines on the belly side also pitch the nose up due to the thrust offset. Undoubtedly an amazing game with innovative technology, thanks!

Challenging in some ways but always entertaining

It seems there’s a base level knowledge about certain things that’s take for granted. Some of the reticle function’s purposes aren’t really clear to me, but I also haven’t really looked into it. I imagine it’s a standard setup that pilots would recognize instantly but the layperson would be unfamiliar with, such as me. It’s definitely a fun app and clearly he went to great lengths to get the physics right. Hopefully there will be more missions added

Very well done

Fantastic work and thank you! This is exceptional and quite fun. Love it.While it's a bit crashy, other than that one challenging request would be to add a shadow cast by the starship so it's a bit easier to tell how close you are to landing.EDIT: Thank you! The latest version fixed the crashing. Hasn't crashed since, except for when I crash starship myself. If you get this, two other feature requests!1. A long-press of the time accelerate feature to get 16x speed. Especially when doing a full orbit of Mars it can take forever to come back down2. A full refuel button for the Earth missions. Sure starship isn't supposed to take off with out super heavy, and maybe you don't have Earth maps loaded in, but it would be fun to try and fly around Earth like you do for Mars. Maybe an Earth landing mission for the return journey from Mars??

So much fun, great to feel the starship

This app is fun and challenging. The physics help me feel the starship controls. The only thing i wish it had a bit better camera control while thrusting. (Double checked, zooms when changing camera while thrusting. Maybe mod so no zooms are allowed while thrusting? Only rotations of camera? Maybe i have a fat thumb?) Trust the autopilot and make small adjustments. The reply helped. Also holding the phone down with the face up really helps too. More precise. Got it nailed now. But i also saw the real one to give away the roll secrets. Cool app. Reminiscent of Nintendo days when repetition was key to success.

Good, but bricks fly somewhat better

The graphics are great. The physics, orbital and aerodynamic, are fantastic. The controls are... ... ... yeah. Not sure what they’re doing, but burning half my thruster fuel did not let me correct a tumble in orbit so that I could safely de-orbit - that tells me how the thrusters work and how I think they work, are very different, and there’s not much feedback going on to help me learn why my tumble never improved at all. Turning on the main engines when I was pointed somewhat in the direction I wanted to go? Would give me a completely new tumble. I suppose that’s what I get for a tablet based control scheme, no nav ball, and oodles of PC based flight skill.

A few problems

Hey I’ve been playing this game since the day of the sn8 launch and it is amazing but I have a few issues the earth pad hop and 15km hop work every time but when ever I try to do a Mars mission the game will crash and I have to re open it this happens probably 2/3 time I’m on a iPhone 8 so not a bad phone yet the game still crashes and I can’t find why on top of that I think that on the hop we should be able to turn the amount of thrust down so that we don’t just completely cut all power at once like sn8 did they slowly cut more and more power I understand this would make the game extremely hard but you could put the option in the settings and can we get a refueling animation on the hyperbolic entry that all I have other then that this is one of my favorite games of all times good job

Great game with some annoying mechanics

I love the game, it seems realistic and it has a lot of info to consume. A few things I keep getting annoyed by are that if your finger is on the engine button, you can’t move the screen around to get a better view, it just zooms in. This just makes it impossible easily get an orientation of the ground relative to the craft. Another issue is that there is no locked camera view or a way to easily tell which direction you’re facing relative to the direction of travel, it makes it impossible to land the craft with any type of reliability, you’re having to wildly rotate your device to figure out the correct direction all while dealing with a spinning craft because only one engine is firing

Wonderful simulator. Highly recommended !

This is a wonderful simulator for the starship spacecraft. I highly recommend it. That said, it’s still very new, and needs quite a bit of refining, but I am very confident it will become a superb simulation. I have a lot of faith in the designer of this simulator. I know he will continue to improve control and other aspects of the app. I’m looking forward to future upgrades. Enjoy the app, and stay safe everyone !

Excellent and addictive!

I’ve been flying in this sim for days. Nothing beats the fun of attempting to fly the starship through a complete reentry into Mars atmosphere. I can complete all the missions, with about a 50% success rate on the hardest one, the full Mars reentry. If I can do it, so can you. Tips: the landing raptor button works on a built in autopilot, it basically points you retrograde, so learn to trust that autopilot. Also, use the cold gas thrusters if you have any control issues. Keep the controls centered and you pitch between 40-70 degrees, and maybe try doing roll reversals like the space shuttle did to cancel out your lift. Good luck!
