Very helpful app

This app has multiple options to enter fluids in and urine output. So much better than writing it down on paper, very discrete. Like the reminders and ability to choose mL or oz measurements. Would have given a 5, but found it inconvenient to have to go back to the Settings every time I needed to enter oz vs mL. My urinal is in mL and many drinks are in oz. My water bottle had no measurement markings; so I have to put fluid in a measuring cup 1st to add to the app. I’m not able to convert in my head and am not good at guesstimating. Using a conversion app would have been another step as well, so I switched back and forth. If the option to switch between the two was on the entry page THAT would seal the 5 stars for me. Otherwise this app is great. Love the ability to use the timer. Convenience and helps to be discrete and not have to carry the urinal all the time. I recommend it!

Does the job!

Wanted to track my urination frequency as I felt it was a bit excessive and I wanted real data to share with my doctor. This app is simple and easy to log urination and liquid intake. I only have 4 small recommendations for improvement. The first would be to allow decimals or fractions on measurements (i.e. currently only able to put in whole numbers for ounces of urine). The second would be to allow alternative methods of measurement. For example, I’m not measuring my urine in ounces when I use the bathroom. I know duration isn’t as accurate of a measurement, but it would be more accurate to input that I peed for 10 seconds versus having to convert it to ounces based on average urination speed and duration metrics, which might not be accurate for my body anyway. Third, an odor measurement would be useful as well to track if it’s odorless, normal, or strong. (There is a notes box on each entry so that’s where I include details like duration and odor, which is super convenient!) Lastly, the diary feature is great, but requires scrolling to the right to see the notes. It would be great if it could all fit on one screen and show trends and averages of all the data I’ve input. Overall, still a great app. Very simple and easy and meets the basic functionality that I need! Definitely recommend.

Best In/Out Free App Out There

This is the best input/output app I’ve had so far. The ability to export this log and provide a report to our medical teams has been so amazing! It’s hard to keep track of this otherwise. My only complaint is the numbers start becoming wrong on the app view (numbers go down in numbers-so if output was 100 the next day the app will show 90, but the export will show the true number) for previous days. Not sure if this is a memory thing of the app or why numbers aren’t the same for days other than the current. It also crashes at times and I fix that by closing and re-opening the app. If that could be fixed then this would be perfect!

Simplifies keeping records

I have MS. And live with neurogenic bladder and poor manual dexterity. This app has been extremely helpful in keeping records for bladder diaries my doctor asked me to keep. Now for a month I have been keeping a night time self-cath diary. I can easily use the app to record the amounts and times I have cathed. Completing all info on an iPhone app enables me to enter info conveniently. Then I can easily copy and paste the info to the diaries I need to keep. This method of keeping my record has really helped me, as I have significant problems with handwriting, but can still type on the iPhone. All this has taken time and effort, but without your app, I could not have maintained my independence in completing these diaries. Please retain the app exactly as it is.

Know With IUFLOW ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

I’m in my late fifties, and starting to deal with certain issues related to the male plumbing system. IUFLOW was the perfect app to use in order to accurately track urine flow, blood in urine, discoloration of urine, leakage, stoppage and more. IUFLOW also tracks your #1’s and your #2’s. Its an easy to use app! Virtually intuitive at every turn. Clean and simple user interface. Editable fields to add or take away various data entries. I’m anxious to see what my Urologist says when I show him my tracking results!!! It was impractical for me to try and record certain daily urinary events on a physical calendar. IUFLOW is the app that’s designed to keep you in the know!!!⭐️💫

Does the job.

I wanted to track input and output in same place and this allows me to do that. The iUFlow device is not available for purchase and I wish they would get rid of the big ‘plug in device’ button. The app prompts you to tell it the hours you sleep but not til the next evening. It would make more sense to prompt when you open the app for first time that day. Also, you can go back and add events and change times but can only add ‘first event of the day’ note and ‘this occurred after going to sleep’ in edit mode. So I can go into the app in the morning and tell it I peed at 4:00 am, but then have to save that event then edit that note to mark it as one that happened after I’d gone to sleep. Overall, the app does the job but is rather clumsy to use and not at all appealing.

Tracks input & output by volume

After a recent surgery I had to track fluid input & output. This is the best app for doing that. All other apps appear to be just reminders, while this one allows you to record actual volume amounts & color, and then share with your healthcare provider. The intake settings are customizable, so I was able to match the presets to my glassware volume. And you can use the app without having to buy the expensive monitoring device this app was originally designed to serve. Remarkably intuitive to use. Only thing that could make this better (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is the need for an Apple Watch function. Very happy with this app.

Helpful app could use a couple of tweaks

I’ve been using this to help track daily liquid intake and output and it gets the job done fairly well. I like the color chart selections and the ability to predefine drinks so you can just tap and save. A couple of tweaks would make it 5 stars. 1) An option for urinary volume that lets you choose a non measured guesstimate. Example, instead of volume in ounces (which many people aren’t going to know), something like trickle, squirt, small, medium, large, who let the horse in, etc. Or better still, a slider that lets you dial it in between those. I’m not using a measuring device and have to type this info into the notes field. It’s a “wee” bit tedious. 2) The notes field truncates anything off screen after saving. Similarly the PDF report does not grab this information. If you’re managing a stone or other condition there may be more info to enter than what can fit in that box. It would be very helpful to be able to see all the notes so they can be edited later and to have that information exported to the report.

Graphic Designer Needed

I’ve only been using this for a short time , two days. My initial observation is that the graphics are way too small. Considering that many of the users are going to be senior women, I don’t think the designers gave thought to the fact that with so much real estate at their disposal, the text on the entry page could be a little larger. Another observation is that the clock/timer widget could be easier and more intuitive. It took me several uses before I found the seconds on a separate line. Finally, the diary does not fit on the screen and I have to scroll right to see all of it while there is a lot of space between columns. That applies to the colors of the urine also. I think you can do better.

Excellent for tracking urine output

This is the ONLY app that I have found as a good tracking tool for urine & stool. By tracking urine output I have caught UTI’s for my baby when the only symptoms were decreased urine output and cloudiness. The data can easily exported by pdf to email to yourself and providers. I wish that the data from the app could be shared between care takers since we have 3 caretakers that cath my baby. As of now everyone has to text me or enter on my phone. That’s my only complaint and I think could be a simple fix by app maker. This app has been so helpful for us keeping up with urine output from intermittent catheterization of my baby with a NTD and I am beyond thankful that I found it. Prior to finding this app I logged everything on paper and had to add up daily totals. This app has made my life in being the primary caretaker of a disabled baby one step easier. Thank you IUFlow!
