Lifesaver!

I love this app!! For me it’s a game changer! Instead of keeping track of how much or little I drink, I’m reminded to use the restroom and by doing so, I can “see” the effects of my water intake. This exercise (I truly believe bladder control is an exercise) has helped me control my OAB (Over Active Bladder). Consequently, my anxiety about my OAB (i.e. urgency, accidents, being near a restroom, etc.) has significantly decreased!Additionally, I love the graphs, gaming aspects, sound effects, and Apple Watch app. By far, this is my most favorite (health) app in the App Store!! I recommend this to anyone who has OAB, bladder incontinence, or similar health issues, or anyone without these issues but wants to monitor their bathroom use and water intake. Thanks for making this app!!!

Doesn’t sync w/ my Apple Watch

I downloaded a bunch of water apps and this was the only one I kept updated. I’ve found myself using the Apple Watch app more frequently because it’s easy to log effortlessly. Unfortunately, the pees logged on my Watch don’t sync with the app on my phone, and I have to enter the times manually. This was ok for the first couple of days I was enamored with the app, but it’s tedious and a bit of a pain. I like the graphs on the iPhone app, so I hope that this can be fixed soon. The app is kitsch and fun, and I’ve definitely been drinking more water. My boyfriend and I are comparing the amount we pee 100% more than previously, so thanks for that, I guess!

Cool app

The apps cool, I just hate that my watch and my phone never sync and that’s primarily how I log my pees so I lost my streak all because it won’t sync. It’s pretty pointless to have an app for the Apple Watch if it’s not going to ever sync to my phone and I have to go back every day and add my pees manually anyways. Aside from that I’ve never been in the green and I’ve gotten down to 3hrs between And that’s still not in the green, I don’t think it’s healthy to pee every hour nor do I think I ever will, so I wish there was an option to set your preferences on how many a day is normal rather than just telling me I’m in the yellow all the time.

Works great but doesn’t include sleeping

This app is great for recording how often I pee and reminding me to drink water, but one thing I don’t like is that it continues the calculations while I’m asleep. When we fall asleep our body automatically holds pee and doesn’t send the urinate signals nearly as frequently as it would if we were awake. But the app then says it’s been 9 hours since I peed and it offsets my averages. Maybe you could add a feature where you click a button when you go to sleep that pauses the reminders and averages calculation, and then you press a button when you wake up for it to start again. I have the average day start set to 7 am but that hasn’t changed anything for sleep averages.

Amazing

All of my data has been restored :D UPDATE: The developer is on top of trying to restore my data. He is so dedicated to making this a great app so if you have any problems just let him know and I’m sure he’ll do whatever he can to fix it. This app has been exactly what I needed in a urination tracking app and the loss of data was unfortunate, but I’m confident the developer is doing everything he can to restore it and to keep it from happening to anyone else. I’ll definitely continue to use this app. The app is fully functional and i like all of the features it has, today all of my logs were deleted after the update. The only logs that were kept were today’s which is unfortunate because I had over 100 pees logged and a 22 day streak. But if you don’t care about that kind of stuff then the app will do exactly what you need it to do which is ultimately remind you to drink water when you haven’t peed in a certain amount of time.

Never Thought I’d Love A Pee App!

I downloaded this app on a lark after seeing it advertised on an episode of To Tell the Truth. I was curious if logging my pees would actually keep me more hydrated, and it has! Most of the time, when I get the notification that I haven’t logged a pee, I’m usually on the way to the restroom. I have a rare disease that can cause me to become dehydrated regularly, so I used to try and keep track of how much water I drank, but I always forgot to log it. The apps also didn’t account for things like coffee, tea, electrolyte drinks. The simplicity of the Pee and See app is amazing! I love that by being cognizant of how often I pee, that I naturally drink more water.

Downloading pee data

Update: I emailed & John resolved the issue within minutes. As a 1-man operation, this runs smoothly even when hiccups happen because of this leve of dedication.I’ve had this app for years & just got a new phone so had to download it from the iCloud again. It has been saying “downloading your pee data” on the main screen of the app ever since. I use this app every day & am sad to say I don’t think I can do so if this doesn’t resolve itself.

Watch app doesn’t work.

I would have used this app because it was the one voiding app to have a watch app. However. The watch portion never worked. It continued to tell me to have the app on my phone. I did WITH data. I deleted the app from both the phone and watch. Re paired. Same thing. Turned off both devices. Tried again. The same thing. I removed it from the watch and tried to install it from the watch app on my phone. It said installing for over 10 minutes. I went back to the App Store on the watch, installed it directly from my watch and same error. Don’t offer a watch app if it can’t talk to the phone. My phone and watch are both fully updated on software. I’ve since uninstalled the app everywhere.

Vulgar app name, decent features

I am embarrassed to have this app on my phone not for what it is but for it’s tacky, inappropriate, vulgar name. It is literally, childlike toilet humor. The developers probably thought it was cute because it rhymes and that it just goes with the issue and ‘owns it’, without taking into account the reality that professional adults would to have this in their pocket and see it multiple times a day when using the product. It’s embarrassing enough to have to track one’s bodily functions m, but to be reminded of it in such a humiliating way, makes it worse. It does what I need it to and works seamlessly. I am counting the days till my tracking time is up with my doctor so I can immediately delete this embarrassing title from my app library.

Nice App, but it Penalizes You for Being Honest

I downloaded this app as well as Crap and Tap to keep track of my bathroom habits after a family member was diagnosed with IBS and Prediabetes. Due to the nature of my work, I am only allowed to use the restroom every so often and I’m not allowed to keep my phone on me. I make notes on a sticky note and log them in the app when I can. I have never missed a day since downloading, but I often lose my streak, which is a bit disappointing. For health purposes this app is good enough, the interface is well-designed and easy to navigate and it’s easy to export your data. I recommend this app if you need an easy way to keep track of trips to the bathroom. Though if you’re a competitive person you may want to disable the leaderboard.

Terms of Use: https://www.peeandseeit.com/privacy-policy.html — The Story Behind Pee & See — I was sick of getting headaches. It seemed like every few weeks I’d lose productivity for half a day or more. My head hurt so badly I didn’t feel like I could do anything. As I laid in bed with a headache, I thought they might be happening when I hadn’t been drinking much water the past few days. What would be the easiest way to remind myself to drink water, when I need it most? I knew there were apps to remind me to drink water based on the amount I drank, but that seemed silly. How would I track the exact amount of water I drank? Would I need a special cup with lines on it? And what if I was going for a run? Wouldn’t I need more water than if I were just sitting around all day? I thought that if I kept track of when I peed I might be able to use that data to give myself reminders to drink water when I hadn’t peed in a long time. Even though I had little experience making iPhone apps, I built a prototype for a few friends to test. The people who were committed to drinking more water loved it. So, I released the app to the world in April 2016, and I've been adding to it and improving it since. Many happy users have gone YEARS without missing a day of logging their pees. Thank you for joining me on my mission to have a positive impact on the world by helping people stay hydrated. The greatest compliment you can give me is a recommendation of this app to a friend or family member! - John Ganotis, creator of Pee & See
