So far so good

But the first time I tried playing this game, it was set in Korean by default cause I downloaded this game in Korea. But in Korean translation, the captain of the boat doesn’t give you the directional hint needed to open the light house. All he says is ‘I know the world to be big, if you go around enough, you’ll end up in the same place’, something along the lines of that in Korean. It doesn’t give you the necessary hint, so I was lost for the longest time before I looked up a walkthrough and found out what was missing. It’s frustrating cause the whole point of this game is to find clues and solve mysteries. And I would hate to do this again in the future as I play it through and some clues are lost due to mistranslation again. Please fix this.

Well...

....i’ve done the initial trip around the island, bumped into an impossible entry to a lighthouse, from which all life issues. For me, that’s end of game, but there are a couple of new games i can turn to. It’s a great game. I’ll come back and fiddle at the lighthouse from time to time, wiggle the elk’s antler, then go play something more productive.Actually I do only one review and perhaps edit it, or refine my intent. If there is more than one review I would suspect it to be the product of programmers who haven’t learned how to keep the current review and delete previous copies.

Great game!!

I truly never write reviews, however I feel like I must for this game. At first glance, the art alone of isoland and isoland 2 is unique and very interesting. Once you dig into the game, you’ll find that these games are fun, sometimes quite challenging, and will get you thinking about the each character and how they fit into the larger puzzle.Support this game people! You won’t regret it! Also I hope a third isoland is made!!!

Amazing game 👍🏼

I really enjoyed this game, even better than the first one! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the screen where you can write notes kept popping up when I tapped the screen. Even when I tried to tap on something in the opposite corner as the notes button, it would pop up. This bug was annoying because I was constantly having to close the notes screen. It didn’t prevent me from finishing the game or anything and I absolutely loved the graphics. You can tell a lot of effort went into making this game!

I cried when it was over - thanks Covid

I don’t usually get much from my games, I play them mindlessly and enjoy them at face value but 2020 has been hard. The little message at the ending encouraged me to keep going on a day that’s been really tough. Thanks for making such a special and thoughtful game. I look forward to Isoland 3 <3

Much love for this game!

Actually all the games up to this point — Mr. Pumpkin’s Adventure, Isoland, and now Isoland 2. The unique art style is what initially attracted me, and then the story and gameplay got me hooked. There are a LOT of point and click type games out there on the market, but few produce such a fine balance of logical challenge, visual esthetic, and solidly intuitive controls. The drawing pad option was a nice add (like in Agent A), though I was still more inclined to snap pics on my phone or keep a scratch pad handy. This one does feel a bit shorter than the other installments, but don’t let that stop you. It’s still a great addition to play through!

Second review ever, must have for myst / room escape adventure fans

It’s beautifully designed, great characters and art. Good logic - if you are an escape the room / myst style adventure hunter don’t even think - just buy it. Got through the game without hints after a few days. I was confused with the ending so looked online after to see if I was missing something ... and I was. Hint: play the game through TWICE for the alternate, much more satisfying ending. Great game developers I’m checking out your other titles now!

Could not get into this game due to 3D Touch

Every other time I touch the screen on something The notepad comes up. There is no way turning this feature off. It was super annoying. Seriously could not deal with it. I really wish there was a way to turn it off. Seeing that there is already a button at the upper right corner of the screen which is easy to hit... seeing that it’s a cellphone screen and not a giant tv. I don’t understand the redundancy of that feature.

Lurve this game

I don’t just love this game I lurve it, everything about it. The dialogue is like weird poetry. The puzzles are unusual and just hard enough. I was unable to use the camera on my 2018 iPad, but I just used the pencil and made drawings instead. I love that there are several female characters. I loved the time travel swish. I was sad I couldn’t save the whale or the creatures in jars.

Excellent sequel to Isoland 1

Really enjoyed this point n click game. Pretty straightforward, although I got temporarily stuck on what to do next a couple times...not unusual for a p n c game. (Hint: Talk to everyone and take note of their comments). Good job! (That one puzzle with the red, blue and yellow wires that needed straightening was a bear. Had to leave and come back for that one haha)
