Amazing app but subscription required

This is a fantabulous app for inventory management Awesome features and very easy to keep track of all your stockBut misleading Should clearly mention this is a trail version for only 30 daysNow I’ll have to delete all data and find some other app and redo to whole thingBecause a 20$/month subscription doesn’t seem fruitful to meAs we keep all records on our system and this was a secondary handy tool for instant accessOther than that great app

A Good Sorting App

I love this app! My small company just recently started using it and it works almost perfectly for our needs! The only thing that caused a bit of a hinderance for us was that you can’t really organize your categories into groups. So if we had multiple categories that are similar in nature, we can’t put them into a group folder. That’s the only real downside I’ve found: a lack of control of the smaller organization. Other than that, I love the app!

Great easy to use app

BoxHero is an easy to use inventory management tool. It was very fast to get started and like how intuitive it is. Helps me run my business and track all my orders efficiently. All my teams members have the visibility too.

Still Deceptive

I read other reviews about paying a subscription fee. The response was that you would make it clear this was not free. Since the reviews were older and it doesn’t show any in app fees or state it’s a subscription, I downloaded the app. In reviewing the terms of service, it states there is a subscription fee… Not sharing that in the description, knowing it has frustrated people and claiming you would correct it, is now deliberately deceptive… That kind of business practice will keep me from ever downloading an app you’ve developed…

Almost perfect

I was looking for a simple way to keep track of my crafting supplies and I’m getting in love with this app, this is almost perfect. Love the design and is really easy to use. There are a few things that I would like to add though.- I can’t keep track of the total cost and retail value.- Can’t keep track of the total “Items” and “Total Units” it’s all one thing right now.- When opened on my iPad is really small (mobile size) it doesn’t fit the whole screen so it’s funny but still works perfect!Great work! I’ll be waiting the updates.

Would pay more for a more user friendly app

In most basic functions of stocking in and stocking out, this app does well at an affordable price. But it is unable to create purchase orders based on low quantities, you are unable to have zero be a minimum quantity for a part - otherwise you won’t be notified when the part is out of stock, you are unable to track inventory efficiently per location, and you can’t set min/max’s for any location except your main location. And the min/max is for the part itself, so if your minimum is 3 and you have none available in your main warehouse, but a secondary location has 5 of those parts, it doesn’t notify you that one or any of your locations is running low.For a single warehouse, you are able to use this and be just fine. If you have multiple locations (like tech trucks) this app will mess up your numbers.

Deceptive

There is a monthly subscription charge that is not mentioned here. To add insult to injury, they do not go through Apple for the subscription fees so there is no recourse through Apple if there is a problem. Too bad they aren’t more transparent; there app is fairly decent. If I could offer up some advice, they should have different tiers to their subscription fees to allow for personal use, pro-personal and perhaps two or three corporate levels. Also, the subscription should go through apple and be available in the App Store. Their advertisement should be rewritten to make the charges clear. If my suggestions are followed, they will go from a one-star to at least a four-star rating.

Good but has some quirks

Tracks inventory well, especially with the barcode feature. There’s two things that are lacking though. The first is that you can’t create purchase orders thru the app. The second is that you can’t use zero for low inventory notifications. I run a service business and some things I only stock one of. In order to be reminded of low stock on these items I either need to set the notification level at 1 or try to remember that I need one when I go to place my order. There’s no reason why 0 can’t be a notification quantity.
