Game is fun, but to hard to progress.

This is an awesome game! I really enjoy it but the progression in the game is extremely slow unless you purchase diamonds. In a typical game at 3.0x speed getting to wave 1000 could take 3-5 hours, and during that time you may get 30-50 diamonds, this is way to little when you factor in a new card is 20 diamonds, unlocking a card slot adds 100 diamonds per card slot, unlocking a research slot adds 100 diamonds per research slot (First slot 100 - Second slot 200 - third slot 300 and so on)The game just takes way to long to progress, and even purchasing the starter pack, and the ads removal wouldn’t help that much as there’s actually not that many ads that give you diamonds as it is. The 5 diamonds don’t show up enough, and the 2 diamonds rarely ever show up (by wave 750 I’ve gotten 3, 2 diamonds) this is crazy, those should show up all the time! For how long this takes, i don’t see how it’s possible to get to tier 2 or even tier 3 let alone tier 13 (Game Max) Balance the game add more ways of earning diamonds without having to pay for them. I purchased the ad removal and the started pack, and yet I still can’t get past tier 1 this is crazy.

Not an idle game at all

The premise for this game is great, but calling it an idle game is a outright lie. It doesn’t have an “offline” mode, and you have to constantly babysit it when it’s running on screen. Despite that, it would be a fun game if the app didn’t have a 50% chance of resetting itself and scrapping your current run every time you minimize it. I can’t tell you how many tournament tickets I’ve wasted because I have the audacity to check my email for a few minutes in the middle of a 2 hour long tour enemy run. Update, seems like the frequency the app resets itself while running in the background has gotten worse. The game needs to save progress even if it’s hard closed, otherwise you have to leave it running for several hours straight (and let’s face it, it’s not that good of a game that I won’t want to check others mid run). Flat out not worth playing until this is addressed.New update shortens tournaments, which will help losing tickets, I can handle a 20-30 min run without closing the app. Doesn’t help coin farming runs, which are even longer. Can’t leave one app on my screen that long, the game needs to not reset your run when it’s closed. +1 stars for less tourney tickets wasted, and for the dev hopefully reading reviews and reacting to them.

Everything disappears in a blink of an eye

This is an amazing game, a slow grinding game unlike any idle game. It has very, very little ads while you play, and you can easily spend an hour grinding and getting stronger overtime. Heck, I myself have spent probably 10 hours in the game enjoying it so so much. The music is pretty nice as well, the fact that it’s so calming helps a lot. However despite how good it is, as you play at one point you’ll lose everything. I do not understand what causes this, as not even a full 12 hours ago I was playing the game. I don’t quite understand why all my hours of progress are gone, but I know I won’t be playing this game again. This game is amazing, and despite it being simple it is really fun and a good time waster. You’ll barely notice a single run takes like 10 minutes. None of that matters, however, as everything you do can be gone in the blink of an eye. This game is an easy 5/5 stars, but with the fact that you can just lose everything, and it’s not easy to get back to where you were, it’s only worth a 1 star

Really fun game

I really enjoy this game, the sense of progression feels great, and the lab function was done very well with the time-gates. I haven’t gotten very far in the game (I downloaded it about 3 days ago) but there hasn’t really been any moments where I’m like “this isn’t fun.”The one real issue that I have is that the defense tab is really powerful once you unlock thorns, it damages enemies that hit you for a percentage of their health each hit, so if they have 2000 health and you have 25% thorns, they get hit for 500 damage every time they hit you.Damage doesn’t scale nearly as fast thorns does, causing it to become useless after awhile.It only makes it more absurd when you have an “absolute defense” upgrade, negating the damage the enemy does to you by a flat number. An enemy deals 150 damage, you have 200 absolute defense, you take 0 damage, BUT thorns still damages the enemy even if you took 0 damage.I think an easy way to fix it is to increase the scaling of the damage upgrade and decrease the scaling of thorns, so it maybe does 0.5% instead of 1% per upgrade. Maybe damage could have a multiplier per 10 upgrades added to it or something so it scales way faster. Also the green enemies shots sometimes don’t damage the player. Just a small thing I noticed.Other than the attack tab being useless. This game is quite fun, and I still sometimes try to go for the attack tab even if it doesn’t go nearly as far.

Inundated with ads that break the game and no saves

Ads ads ads. Everything you do there’s an ad to watch, every few minutes another Popup for ads, it is simply too much. Not even gachas have ads this frequently and this invasive. Worse is that the implementation is broken. Ads frequently break and you’re left with no recourse. They either freeze the app forcing you to force-close or just straight crash it altogether. And no save feature either. Ads break your game, you lose your progress. Something so simple as a save and resume, a novel concept invented decades ago that you can find in any other idle game, does not exist here. The dev does not respect your time, nobody should be forced to leave their phone on and running or risk losing their progress because of your failed priorities.There’s also some serious irony with the ads that play, telling you to delete your game if it makes you watch ads because they’re scamming you. Oh and how could I forget the white Knight community on their discord that just tells you to pay them money so you can turn off the buggy ad system. Such scum my practices.

So much potential!

I love this game so much! I can see how it is still in early development, but there are some things that could make it so much better.1. Add more types of enemies. Some that do not travel in a linear pattern toward me, but instead orbit around and come in closer. Maybe one that’s very quick like a suicide bomber that dies after impact? Or one that has an ability to dodge the first attack. 2. Add an unlockable class system? Like as simple as a faster firing class with lower damage, or a slower firing with higher damage, or a shotgun variant. Make it like a selection as to which modifier to use before you start.3. Add difficulty multipliers for more coins. The challenge is worth the reward! :)There’s so much potential here, but I believe one thing that can make this game even better is to make it more fun to watch with variety. Other than that, I’m still loving this game and can’t wait to see what comes out!

Pleasantly challenging

It’s not often I play a tower defense game that is challenging from the very beginning. This game features a percentage variable upgrade system that makes noticeable changes to gameplay, paired with retro style visuals and a soundtrack that complements it all. It’s simple, and yet difficult. I find myself tweaking my early, mid and late game upgrades every single match to find the most effective means of reaching a higher level and earning more cash to spend in the home menu, which is comprised of individual categories (health, combat, economy, defense) that will also help improve your strategy. I have a small complaint that I feel could be modified to help with quality of life, but in no means is a reason not to play this game. I’d love to have some small blips and similar sound effects to go with the weaponry and the enemy deaths. Nothing too intense, but a nice “pew pew” that results in a satisfying “crunch”. It would just be lovely, especially when you’re hundreds of levels into a match and your getting fatigued. Or perhaps when you’re just starting a match and you know you can look forward to all those laser blasts and booms. Just a thought, otherwise I love this game :)

Was good but lost everything

So I’ve had this app for about a week and really enjoyed it at first. Everything was going well as I tried to grind higher damage and absolute defense, which I did enjoy how this isn’t just an instant idle game. However I now lost all of my progress and my no ad purchase once I lost signal. I’m in the Navy and will lose phone and internet signal for a day or so when I’m on duty. Most phone games do not have an issue with this and let me continue to use it without internet. This game is different though, at least after the first day because I played the game offline for the first day and nothing was wrong, but once I tried to use it in the morning all my progress was gone and I was back on the tutorial. The weird part is that my tournament coins are still there, but all my normal coins are gone and my game is stuck on the tutorial with the ads no longer being blocked by the $9.99 purchase. I tried using restore purchases but it didn’t work. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading the app but again it doesn’t work. I’d rather not just restart playing and I’m extremely annoyed that $10 was basically stolen from me. If this can be fixed I’ll change this to a 5 star rating but as of now it seems like I was just scammed out of my money.

Slow Progress

This game has extremely slow progress compared to most mobile games. I’ve been playing for a few days in my off time and still feel like I’ve barely touched even 1% of the game. In a way it makes it more fun though, you can’t earn everything in the game in a few days or a week like most mobiles games these days and just end up bored. They actually put some thought into the game. Most of the slow progress is because the health and damage of the enemies really takes off and doesn’t stop. So you constantly have to play over and over through however many waves you can get through to earn “C” to have permanent upgrades to your own health and damage from the beginning of each round. You’ll have to play one round to get 2 or maybe 3 permanent upgrades, and there’s 20 different upgrades you can do to your tower and then however many times you can level up each upgrade which also get more expensive. Devs if you see this, a simple solution would be a higher payout of “C” so you can get permanent upgrades faster and make better progression. Even something like watching an ad for 1.5x bonus, make it 2x.

Fun at first, but obviously the creator doesn’t play their game

At first, this is a fun and challenging game. You cannot win it the first try. You need to strategize to win. However, as you progress through the game it slowly turns into a pay to play game. Additionally, there are lots of glitches and miscalculations. For example, some of the upgrades cost billions of coins. One round you can get a couple million of coins but that takes a couple hours. A billion coins would take days of constant play to achieve! And that upgrade barely does anything to improve your tower!!! Also, the math doesn’t add up. One power gives you a 30% of recovery. Which means out of the next 10 rounds approximately 3 of them will provide a recovery. However, it really ends up being much less than that. Lastly, THE SPEED UP BUTTON DOESNT WORK CORRECTLY. WHENEVER YOU UPGRADE THE SPEED UP FROM 1x to 2x, IT ACTUALLY JUST SLIGHTLY SPEEDS UP THE ROUND AND DRASTICALLY SLOWS DOWN THE 1x. WHEN YOU UPGRADE TO 4x the 1x moves like a snail. And the 4x moves fast but not 4 times the speed. I am sure the creator doesn’t play this game to improve it, but rather focused just on making money off of it.
