PHENOMENAL COMFORTING APP!

This app right here is a must. I don’t usually rate apps because I don’t want to take time out of my day. However, this app is just so great I have to rant about it. To begin with everything is anonymous and you don’t even have to enter an email or name when you first open the app. In addition there is a feature which allows you to create a passcode. This way, regardless of who has your phone they’ll never be able to open that app to see any of your posts. Then on top of all that you can track your moods daily. I like to journal but sometimes I don’t feel in the mood. With this app you simply add what you’re feeling that day along with some notes so you don’t miss out on journaling. It’s a phenomenal app that encourages and comforts others. I’d like to mention that they have more than 20 topics to choose from. So if you want to specifically see posts on depression or anxiety you can do that as well. Everything about this app is wonderful and I highly suggest you use it. Every now and then when I don’t feel well I can just hop on the app and post about it and have other people reply to me. God’s work I tell you. Please do yourself a favor and download it you won’t regret it.

A truly wonderful anonymous app

If you are looking for an app where you can speak about your life or problems or illnesses without strings/name attached, this is the app for you. This is a great app for self-care without identity. There is no word limit for your posts, so you can either quietly whisper or loudly vent to the whole world without any concerns or issue. There is no sign up required, and you stay behind a generic name and avatar (Arlo, Moki, Paskel, etc). There are a lot of active members as well, so you’ll always receive feedback & reactions. You can hide posts if you feel uncomfortable or report if it’s bad. There are always people working on this app. I highly recommend this! Especially when you just want to shout out something to the world without identity/personal consequence :) This app has topics such as Depression, Anxiety, Whisper, PCOS, ASL, DBT, CBT, and much more to come. Honestly, this app has everything you need. You can rent and vent about anything. Seriously, the topics are amazing! I 10/10 recommend this app :)

Generally wholesome

I really like this app! It’s nice to be completely anonymous sometimes when venting about an issue. The community is the kindest I think I’ve ever seen. Every reply I’ve seen has been loving and supportive or at least not outright mean. Love it! The avatars that you can choose from to represent you are adorable too. They all have their own names, so you go by whatever their name is. This is another way you are anonymous.I completely understand about the paywall on some features, but as someone who isn’t willing to pay (yet) it’s a little annoying. If you don’t pay for a subscription, you can’t search posts by topic (all you have is the main feed with all topics together) and you can only make a new post once every 24 hours. It’s still very useable and not a big deal though. It’s a cute, simple app to find friendly people and help each other!

The best app ever

I honestly love this app. Exverything about it is great. Its such a good to write out everything that you want and people on the app are so supportive and nice. I also love that it’s anonymous so you don’t have to worry about people you know seeing what you put in there. The categories are great too because if you wanna focus in one thing, it’ll let you put that as a topic. I also live the fact that you can talk to people privately. It’s so jice to just have some place to write down all your thoughts and having people there to support you and give you advice when you need it. Sometimes when I want to vent or have a problem I don’t really talk to my friends about it because I dont wanna bother them and through this app, its just a lot better to tell strangers how you feel and also see that there are other people going through the same thing that you’re going through. Like I said in the beginning, this is the best app ever.

Most Amazing App Ever

I love this app!!! I was hesitant to try it because I accidentally stumbled on it without any previous recommendation, but since using this app it is clear more people need to be sharing how amazing it is. It allows for a space, judgement-free where you can get anything on your mind out. I love that I can help other people and feel the support when I need it too! Most apps make it to where it’s unusable unless you buy the subscription, but the free version still has a lot of mobility. Besides the features premium gives, I’m very tempted to buy the subscription just for the sake of supporting the content creators who make this app. I genuinely am grateful I found this app, and highly recommend it to everyone! ❤️

Good intentions; bad community

I like the thought behind this app, they’re taking a step forward in the mental health field and giving people an alternative to let out some thoughts without the pressure. There are a few major drawbacks, there’s a lot of toxic people in these forums and it’s sort of a double edged sword, although you’re granted anonymity, that also mean people can say anything to you as well and sometimes you can leave the app feeling worst than you came and there’s no quick/active way to stop people like that from commenting. The devs have to take this more seriously and put a stronger algorithm in place to prevent abusive language form being spread on the platform. Not to mention it is a bit buggy, sometimes I go in my DM and can’t get out, or I respond to someone and it’ll get stuck on the message screen.

Love this app so far

It’s very good app for expressing your feelings at the moment and I hope she get it out of your system to make you feel better.I’ve only used it twice but I already have good feelings towards the app and I’m gonna continue to use it for a positive aspect and hope that it does make good and getting forward with my life and overcoming addiction, homelessness possibly, love drama with a fiancé, life as an exotic dancer Who chooses to do the job by choice of enjoying the job not just for the money, and there’s so much more I could say but I’ll just say I love the app so far I will elaborate more when I know more about the app after I use it every day for at least like two weeks I’ll update my review.

Don’t expect any help.

The app is so popular now that posts get buried. It more of a venting app because your chances of getting responses are small. I have no idea why anyone would make this their first pick for an advice/help app when there are more that actually deliver what they say they will. And I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I HATE THE DITTO RESPONSE! It feels like a slap in the face when someone responds with “Ditto” to an incredibly personal problem. The chances that you are going through the same thing I am, that I’ve outlined in great detail, is incredibly small. It feels like when you have a conversation about someone and they try to put themselves in with, “oh well, I had this issue too…” Sometimes I don’t want to feel like other people experience the problem because it no longer feels personal, it no longer feels like I should be bothered because clearly it’s not that big a problem if everyone else is experiencing it at the same time as me.

Was great til it wasn’t

I’m here because I’m not allowed to post anymore and I’m not sure why. I guess posting is now a paid feature. The point of the app was to allow an online space for support for whatever you needed to say. It’s great in concept and the anonymity is quite comfortable. I was using this as a tool to keep my head above water when I needed and to keep a log of my feelings whenever I met with my therapist. Some of the responses are helpful and others are forceful. Some of the posts are strange or very abrasive because you’re allowed to say almost anything, but nevertheless you can scroll and not interact with them. The community is generally nice depending on what you post and it is effective in boosting mood. Unfortunately paying for an app and a mental health professional is out of the question for me. It’s abrupt presentation and forceful manner of blocking posts but not comments is strange. Oh well 🤷🏾‍♀️

Bullying/Harassment

I've been using this app for about a year and a half and it has been helpful until a few months ago and I no longer feel safe or heard. I've only received three harmful comments and one inappropriate message from several users and it stopped for a few months after reporting them. The bullying from this Jinto started a month ago and I reported the comments made to me immediately. I noticed an increase in others having harmful and threatening messages and comments in the past two weeks and have had to constantly block and report this Jinto. This bully, when called out or when a topic about sexual abuse, self-esteem, intimacy, self-identity, race, or LGBTQ is discussed in the app, tends to say cruel things such as victim blaming, projections, sexual harassment, and racist comments. I fell victim to his bullying again just 30 minutes ago after taking a couple of data from the app. How is this person still able to use this app?! Is anyone going to do anything about this?!
