Disappointing

This could have been an amazing game. I definitely would have put it on my daily play list. But, it’s clear this game is a money grab for the developers. I’ve spent a little on this game as I love Halloween theme.. The graphics are nice , the ideas are good for game play. But, the players can’t get far without spending money. Not just a little money, lots of money. Each upgrade only gives 10 extra items in silo or storage & it’s full again quickly. We all know what that means...more money to upgrade. My suggestion would be to sell the game outright , drop subscription rates , or make it possible to earn the items a player needs through game play. It hard to have fun when you’re frustrated

Fun the first two days

Pros: graphics are good and colors nice. Some cute elements like with the scarecrow and plant... the little town and trick or treaters was a nice touch...really this could have been a great game BUT... Cons: sadly once you have played just long enough to get interested the storage for your farm goods will fall woefully and repeatedly short of what you need more or less forcing you to spend money if you want to progress anytime this decade. I don’t mind paying reasonable amounts for in game stuff for a good game...but this feels more like a money grab. You just don’t get much and you would have to buy more far too often. Yes there are watch ad options for additional items but again... you don’t get much for your time. You would spend more time watching ads than you would playing. I’m not sure if the creator just didn’t trust that their game was good enough to stand on its own and get in game purchases without the push via no storage (I think it was), or if it was just outright greed but either way...they epic failed what could have been a decent game I would have otherwise spent money on. Uninstalling unfortunately.

YES!! Finally

I just started playing this game. I absolutely love Halloween and have been on the search for a Halloween game for a while now and I am so happy that I found this gem. I love the game so far and I can’t wait to expand my little monster town. Halloween is my favorite holiday, also happens to my birth month. Win win for me.. but I am noticing some ads popping up which usually causes me to delete the game all together. I won’t be deleting this one, I haven’t seen an option to get a no ads version but I’ll be on the lookout. So excited for this game.

Devs make this a great game please

I have been playing for just a short time now and I am enjoying the game very much, but come on, $32 a month for pixels, I mean it’s not like we’re actually getting any physical product, shame on you for thinking that charging players this ridiculous amount is ok at all, $32 a year maybe, but a month, all I can do is laugh and SMH, I do like to subscribe to games for better perks but never will it happen for this game, I will continue to play until it starts to be impossible to continue without paying for something or other, I am happy to choose to spend some cash but I refuse to be forced to spend in order to continue playing, so I guess we’ll see how it goes…I would want as many people playing my game as possible and this is certainly not how you go about keeping people playing your games

It could have been a great game

There is review written by clever girly and it is spot on. The game does have great graphics and I play some farm games that I love and have played for years. I have also done some in game purchases and gladly because I felt I wasn’t forced to and I felt I was getting a good deal for my money. This game while I would have loved to put this on my daily game play, forces you to make purchases in order to even continue and I’m not very far into it. I really don’t like that. When I had a problem with the game I sent and email to report the issue (the subscription wouldn’t allow me to actually make the purchase. The subscription was $3.00 a month) they replied with they will fix with the update. Well I waited weeks and now the update is finally available and the subscription cost is still not a function I can do but won’t anyway because they made it $8.00 a week. Quite a huge jump and they took some options away. Well, that is just 1 of the issues I have found but again I agree with clevergirly and sadly have to delete the game because without making a purchase there is no longer a game to play. I am stuck I have no storage and therefore it won’t allow me to move forward. I’m really disappointed but I’m sure there will be other games that have the same type of play. I would rather use my data storage for something that I can actually enjoy. Could have been a great game.

Perfect combo!

I like town building and crop management style games, but always get bored or overwhelmed by having so much to multitask so early in the game. And If the game is “cute” then gameplay is awful. And if the gameplay is great, I get bored with the aesthetics. But THI -Monster Farm - is the PERFECT combination of BOTH - CUTE & FUN GAMEPLAY. The user interface (if that’s what it’s called 🤷🏻‍♀️ lol) is so simple but doesn’t ether game boring. I love all the different tasks, but they don’t get overwhelming like other games that have a similar concept. I downloaded this game for my 7 yr old daughter, and I’m the one who became addicted to it lol! 🤣🤣It’s so perfect for kids AND adults!! Definitely would recommend to anyone who enjoys this type of town/farm management games!! 💯🎃💯⚒🧱🕯🔮⚰️🎃💀🧟‍♂️🧙🏻‍♀️🧛🏼‍♂️

Phenomenal Game

Honestly have been pretty let down with the selection of holiday games, I’m a little obsessed with Halloween in particular. Given this I went in with a low expectation cause I believe I’m hard to impress. I was blown away with the wide array of great aesthetics. Only negatives is that it’s a little slow to get into and they are constantly hounding about in game purchases but it isn’t that bad if you get past that. Give it a shot 😁👌

The VIP subscription cost is an insult to gamers

Here’s the thing, there is no way to make a game cute enough to justify asking people to spend 7.99 a week for VIP rewards. That’s 7.99 PER WEEK. Not per month. Inexcusable. And it’s sad, because it’s a fun little game and I already adore the scarecrows. But as soon as I advance to higher levels, and it becomes difficult to make progress, will I wander off to find another game? Probably. My advice to anyone thinking about downloading: go ahead. Play the easy levels, give your brain a rest and relax with some fun spooky graphics - watch the ads - but don’t spend ANY real-world money. There are plenty of other options in the casual gaming world with much more reasonable price tags.

Why one star

This game will ask you if you are enjoying the game every day till you hit yes. But I was not enjoying it. The only option is yes or there is a problem, so I hit problem. Until one day they got tricky. As I collected the daily gift they vommited up the button for enjoying the game as I tapped for the gift. So I accidentally hit yes for enjoying the game. Well played, corrupt but well played. I like to give a three week trial for games. Still not enjoying the game, trial almost up. The issue with the game is that it gives many tools to take out the debris in the new land areas but not enough tools to open the land and no way to sell off the debris tools so my storage gets full of tools and the game hit stale mate. With no way to move forward the game is unplayable. Check mate!

Fun and Cute!

I love this game. I've been playing it for a few weeks now and my town is getting better every time I play! I love the scarecrows, vampire, vultures, spider, warewolves, trick or treaters, all other characters, and all crops. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I've finally found the perfect game. It took me a little while to learn all aspects of the game and how it's similar to other farming/town building games, and it does have a similarity regarding the rules to the other similar kind of games, so it's easy and fun to play. The graphics are great, and you earn coins and materials quick. The crops are so cute and grow fast, and expanding is easy. Every "factory" is so cute, and I love the zombies when building them, and in other areas of the town. This game is great! Play it!
