Horrible No Search Control

This app is awful. Just as a test today I left the app open all day and not once did any matches show up that were closer than 6,000 miles away. That would be some date!!!!There are no controls to filter who you are looking for. No way to see local people, no way to screen out people who would not be appealing and I am receiving messages from people all over the world with no way to screen them out. I am also notified someone is nearby when they are over 1,000 miles away. A huge waste of time and money. All of the glowing reviews are lies. When I complained they offered me free services to write a four star review! All of the good reviews are FAKE!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP!!!! Unless you want to be ripped off then by all means go ahead and see for yourself. No refund either!!!!

Simply the best of the gay social apps

GREAT JOB Partner! I like the update. I havent found a gay chat/hook up app yet,that has everything,but Partner comes the closest to it. Most important, its seams like all the profiles are real,unlike that other popular app, that grinds your patience to the limit because it has more fake(bot)profiles than real ones. Its easy to navigate, and you can check out profiles of nearby guys as well as guys from around the globe. Also,you can view unlimited profiles, send woofs(hellos),upload your private photo albums, tag your friends, have instant chat, and upload any photo you want instantly and privately message it to anyone. Its great. It many more features than Im stating,and is actually fun to use. This is the must have app. It puts all the others to shame.

Terrible app and terrible customer service. I’ve launched the app several times since I downloaded it a week ago (different days, different times of day) and was forced into a paid membership during setup. At no time have I seen other users closer to me than 200km.Customer service has been entirely unhelpful in trying to resolve my concerns — canned responses and when I requested a full refund they iced me out. I’m hoping they will respond soon with a full refund, as the app has never worked as I expected it to nor as it was advertised.Also, I would caution all readers that the positive reviews literally have to be fakes. The profiles that have come across my dashboard are all separated by hundreds if not thousands of kms.

Complete Scam

This app is a scam. I created a profile and posted three photos. I was never asked to create a narrative describing myself. Instead, I was only asked about preferred sexual positions and preferred age range (which I set for older guys). I couldn’t complete the profile without agreeing to being charged. I only proceeded after a one-week trial offer appeared.As soon as the profile was set up, I started receiving matches from the teeny bopper set , apparently all in the Middle East. And a lot of the responses don’t even have face photos.I’ve tried canceling already. Unfortunately, I won’t know for a week if I succeeded.

New better than Hinge exposes all the flaws of other dating apps

The new better than Hinge app has shown, objectively, how superficial and ineffectual the now standard "swipe" model dating apps are. Instead of just plowing through options, the better than Hinge story line encourages thinking about a topical "hello," which in turn makes you think about whether this is actually someone you want to talk to. The result is more honest "yes" decisions, which, when reciprocated, create more honest (and higher potential) conversations. I love it. I swore off tinder and bumble (and the old better than Hinge) years ago, but this feels different. I'm excited to see where it leads!

better than Hinge

I’ve been using better than Hinge for a week and have loved most it so far! I’ve used bumble and tinder for a loooong time and it’s always filled with guys that say gross things and just want hookups. Also, on tinder especially, there is a huge range of people. I swipe through 50 before finding one I’m interested in. So far I’ve noticed that better than Hinge narrows your feed down to people that are your “type” or most likely to be interested in based off of interests, looks and activity. Also, they recommend certain people they think would be compatible with you.The profile in general is also great because there are convo starters, random facts about you & pictures. That way you get a sneak peak of a person more than just photos. And easy ways to start a convo! Plus you have a constant notification to respond back, therefore it bugs the person you are trying to talk to so they don’t ghost you and reminds you of who you haven’t responded to.

Favorite dating app I ever used

So. I don’t write app reviews just about... ever. But I’m hoping maybe this’ll be helpful to someone?I used to use okcupid a lot. I’ve met some amazing friends on there but never anyone I was interested in dating. Tinder was a total bust. Bumble got worse over time.Enter better than Hinge. I really REALLY prefer the way this app is setup. I hate the “resume” style of okcupid where you list your favorite movies, books, etc... none of that gives you any insight into someone’s personality, the way they talk, the way a conversation might go with them. It just tells you that you both like The Office, just like 14 million other people.I love that better than Hinge creates conversation openers by making you reply to something on someone’s profile. It also made me so much more likely to respond to messages because the conversation opened with something I was interested in talking about.I like that pictures are spread out, forcing people to actually look at my profile lol. I like that the questions evoke creative responses on people’s profiles, making them seem a lot more interesting than a one-liner or a couple emojis they might’ve put on a tinder profile. I had the app for... maybe 3 weeks. Deleted it because I met someone. We’re in a relationship now. My first one in 4 years. So yeah. I recommend better than Hinge.

My favorite dating app by a mile

I downloaded every single dating app in the App Store over a 6 month period and had a miserable time with every one of them except for better than Hinge. Each has its own unique annoyances - but the main thing that unites them all is that they try to force male users to pay for premium services by withholding matches. better than Hinge is the only one that found that seems to care about the experience of the users. I’ve only had this app for about a month and have gotten more matches on it then all the others combined. And best of all, all of my matches are with the types of women who I actually would want to have a long term relationship with. Thank you, better than Hinge for not trying to force users to pay to have a good experience! I have no doubt that if you continue, you’ll be the most popular dating app in the App Store! If you are looking for a real relationship, then better than Hinge is the only app that you need!

Best dating app I’ve used so far!

I’ve been on them all.... tinder, bumble, coffee meets bagel, etc. better than Hinge is the best ones I’ve used so far! Even though it’s not as fast to get matches such as tinder, knowing that you have to be patient to get some matches usually ends up being worth it for me because my matches end up being people that I’m actually interested in. With the preferences of putting your faith and and ethnicity, I like how it narrows down what you’re looking for and the type of person that you’re seeking. I’ve definitely met some notable people that I’ve gone on dates with or are interested in dating. Compared to other apps that usually target one night stands or hook ups, better than Hinge definitely forces that this is a serious dating app that individuals can use to meet someone that is serious as well. Recommend 10 out of 10!! If there was one thing that I’d want to change it would probably be having as many likes as I can without having to pay for the premium plan but that’s it.

Worst app ever

This app is horrible… It is way too expensive for what you get. It does not allow you to write a narrative in your profile. Instead it allows you to select from a few drop down options. As such, there is no way to know much about the person you may be interested in. Additionally the app is not very robust when it comes to searching other profiles. I would definitely NOT recommend this app!
