BOOOOOO

This app popped up as a suggested app on Facebook and I had though "oh what the hell, why not," so I downloaded it. I didn't even have my account for 24 hours and it got deleted because they thought I was using my account for commercial purposes, spamming, or I made a second account. Well first off, I was new and had not talked to anyone. I am not a company so I don't have anything to sell, and and also did I mention I was new and that was my first time trying that app? I have tried contacting their "support" and they have not said anything! They better fix their account histories and make sure they aren't mistaking people with others. I'd give this zero stars if I could!

Needs improvement...

Earlier iterations of the app seemed to work much better than the current one. Under iOS 8.2, app does not allow one to use dictation mode, and when you are typing a message to a recipient, if that person should start typing A response at the same time it cuts off and interrupts your typing - permanently losing what you had writ. Please check these issues on the app and update accordingly. Before this version I actually enjoyed the app quite a bit more.

Too complicated and ugly

The user interface is ugly, cumbersome and complicated -- far too many clicks to get anything done, and extremely time consuming. It drains your battery and yet the images are all grainy! The app is free but the service is for pay, and all the good features are for paying members only. As a result, every search only pulls up about a dozen locals, and everyone else is international (where are these so-called "six million guys" located if not in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York?). Also, deleting your account is extremely tedious and shady -- they make the process so difficult, I wasted over half an hour trying to find the way to do it. BUYER BEWARE!

CRASHES EVERY TIME I TRY TO CHECK MESSAGES

I’ve reported this twice, with little to no response and absolutely NO resolution to the problem. It takes at least failed attempts and. Rashes before the app will stop crashing and let me open my messages. Maddening. This app is for crap.

Most worthless of the worthless

Social apps are pretty weak at their best, Gaydar is *terrible.* Durthermore it randomly removes profiles thru an automatic process that us buggy at best. The first time it happened to me I shrugged it off and they let me renew my profile. The second time they removed my file for "spamming and excessive messaging"... And I hadn't even signed on yet. Forget it! Jack'd and Grindr are pains too but at least they (mostly) work. And have a network of guys in your area. Gaydar is too limited and very unlikely to take off at this rate. Save the space on your phone and avoid this dog of an app.

A good app w/a problem

Apps are only as good as there subscribers, and this list is fair. There is one glaring pain in the neck with this one though. If you're at the end of a thoughtful, long response to someone, but haven't hit send yet, and someone sends you a message, the screen will shift to that person or the general chat window, and will have instantly erased the message you were about to send.

Can't sign up!

I get all the way through the sign up process to where you have to enter the random letters you see in the box. I enter them, and it tells me I entered the wrong letters. I did this about 20 times, and I'm sure the letters were right every time. Is it because I'm using an iPod Touch? But what good is an app of you can't sign up for it using your mobile device? Please fix this problem, as I'd really like to check out this app. I've actually heard good things about it. Till then, one star from me.
