Frustrating to use

The modeling itself is straight forward enough, however, the undo button swaps between the last two versions and when it does work how it should, it stops working after a while. I am using this to attempt to 3D model a mask, but there’s no way that I’ve found to hollow it out. Even with symmetry enabled, it has turned out uneven while using certain tools. I wish I could give this a higher rating as the modeling I was able to get done (before it was irreversibly mangled and the undo button not working) actually looked very good and I was able to do a lot, though I’ll be swapping to other software until the developers fix this. one last thing that isn’t a *huge* deal but it’s still worth noting, the tutorials are out of date and confusing to follow

Tried this new one

I have “classic” which just means i bought it before it went to sub base.. git a pop up on it offering free year to this new one. The old one wont receive updates now. Which fine idc. The thing I don’t get is.. I figured this one would be adding noticeable new features and be better fleshed out, but it appears exactly the same. I guess there is a new export ability but I don’t need that. Export to blender file and you might have had something with me.. improve user friendliness. Make it easier to color and make uv maps.. i will not be subbing past free year unless significant improvements are made which i feel are useful..

Great app but corrupts files

This is an amazing app! As a professional Game Artist who works in Zbrush and Maya, I needed something quick for my 3D resin printer. This works amazing and isn’t too difficult to use…however, my masking doesn’t seem to work…manual says to click in canvas for mask invert but doesn’t work also, It doesn’t seem to be perfectly symmetrical when I use the symmetry. It works but when I turn it to a different angle, it doesn’t work sometimes…frustrating…and the reason for the 3 star is because my files keep corrupting!!! I’m not even using a lot of geometry when I remedy and It corrupts and prevents me from drawing on it….going to try Nomad. I was able to save an obj…hoping I can salvage my project…

Great! One problem though,

I agree with everyone who has given this 10/10, this is truly a great game. I haven’t really dug into it that much, but I’m not 100 percent sure how to import references. I plan on using this to make prehistoric animals but I don’t really know how to import a reference to make something. I go on to SketchFab, so maybe it’s not compatible? I don’t know, but still, you guys did a great job making this! If you like, you could respond to this and tell me how to?

Surprisingly good

I’m shocked that this doesn’t cost money. It seems like a high end sculpting app that normally costs money. I haven’t seen any other apps that meet this level of amazing that are free. It has handfuls of tools that can help create masterpieces. I’m not sure why it’s getting low ratings. This app should definitely be more popular.

Headed to nomad

I just bought this app recently and found out the original version is now not receiving bug fixes which makes it useless as time progresses. I’m not mad at the subscription based pay method but cutting off the support for the app we already paid for ? Then you promise a one year subscription for the new version which only offers exporting into cin4D (which I don’t have) as a new feature.I have yet to see this year subscription as promised.

A Total SCAM

They artificially limit funtionality to resctrict model export behind a subscription paywall. That is some of the most incredibly scummy behavior I’ve ever seen on the App Store.Maxon, if I create a model using your app, I have every legal right to use that model in whatever program I want. Screw you for locking model export behind a paywall. It does not, in any capacity, hurt your bottom line to let me use my creations in the program of my choice. And it definitely does make me entirely disinclined to use any of your other products, ever. I will never suggest anyone ever use a Maxon product for any reason, under any circumstances.

You won’t receive a functional app, nor a license nor support from Maxon, so save your money

After being acquired by Maxon and having my lifetime license changed to a one-year subscription, this month I was charged for an extra year so I decided to give the app a second chance, despite it being behind compared to Nomad. However, I encountered issues as the app lacked some features mentioned in the documentation. Seeking support from Maxon, I sent two emails providing details about my charge and purchase, but unfortunately, I received a generic response stating they couldn’t find any license on my account and requested more information without specifying what they needed.This lack of assistance has been incredibly frustrating, and it appears to be a common theme based on other reviews. As a customer, I feel let down by the absence of effective customer care, making it challenging to resolve my concerns. This has been the worst experience I’ve had, and I am left feeling disheartened about the lack of support and communication from Maxon

It’s ok

It’s really hard to figure out how to use it. It also costs money for most of the features. I feel like u should either pay up front or make everything free because u kinda lie if u make the app free but most of the features. like exporting the hole model, u need to pay for it, out of all the things in the app I feel that shouldn’t cost money, plus u can only make three models. So if someone who can change this reads this could u please change a few of the stuff that costs money(at least the last two I mentioned) but apart from that it’s ok for a mobile app.

Umm

I downloaded the app to see if I’d like it, it’s pretty nice but I stepped away from my iPad for a minute and what I was working on was gone. It said they don’t save work in free mode. I’d been working on that for about 20 minutes. 🙄 also I kept getting a notification saying to close out other tabs while using the app. anyway I’m going to check out nomad.
