Practically Perfect

I so want to give this 5 stars! So I bought this app without even doing the trial period. It is exactly what I needed to do what I needed. You could change nothing and this app is worth the money. I want to see something implemented: vertically angled text boxes, advanced features like importing images and assets/icons. I would pay money for premium shapes and assets/icons. Specifically I need a filing cabinet, trash can, shelving and a check as in a checkbook.Such a good app for this type of project.

Amazing product for the price

I have used a lot of flowchart programs in my 30 years as a manager in the aerospace industry. This app provides a simple flowchart application that provides a lot of functionality that I was used to. Support is great - I could not determine how to print the flowchart I created, and I sent an email asking for guidance. In a short time, I got a response via email, and viola, everything worked. I would definitely recommend this app.

Needs work

Overall, it mostly does what it’s supposed to do. I’ve contacted the developer with issues regarding export and such, and was surprised with both the quick reply, and how dismissive it was. My problems are pretty simple. The PDF is in iOS compressed format, so I can’t use it outside the iPad. Trying to save to local files on the iPad seems to confuse the application, so when entering the name, and the type of image file, it lets you enter the name and choose the file type, but whether you choose PNG or JPG - you get an unnamed PNG file. I did purchase the full version for $10, and I’m debating asking for a refund.

Great app but text editing inoperable

The app is fantastic. However, trying to edit the text is making me want to throw my phone out the window. I am about a day away from deleting it and starting over with another app instead. When you try to edit existing text, you can’t choose where the cursor goes. So you press in one spot and it puts it in another. It wouldn’t be a problem if you could actually get to the text you need to edit, but they don’t give you away. So if I have a block with say 100 words, I have to delete it and start over. If there was a way to communicate via the app or their website I probably wouldn’t be writing this on a review. I like how easy it is to add blocks and connect them.

Latest release has fixed major bug

I do not use this app often, because I don’t need to create charts often, but last week I attempted to make a chart and discovered a bug that made it impossible to add arrows to a chart. I’m happy to say that the recent release has fixed this issue and I was able to create my chart. Thanks to the developer for acting on this issue.

Pretty good on iPad

The actual diagram creation functionality is great. Where I ran into problems (even after buying a license) was in the export/sharing. I used a big cloud to signify, you know, “the cloud” and then put some EC2 objects in it (top layer), a connection between them with a label, and a text call out. When I went to export/share my finished diagram I discovered that only the EC2 images within the cloud were visible. No amount of fiddling would get the link, text, and call out to appear (different export options selected, for example). Eventually I deleted the cloud and just used a group boundary box, and that worked fine. Also the transparency settings didn’t overlap with the selected object underneath well and were unusable. Please fix these issues and I’ll change my rating to five stars.

Intuitive

While making a flowchart I found this app intuitive. It works the way I naturally feel it should work so I didn’t have to consult a tutorial. I usually use a mind mapping program to do flowcharts but have older flowcharts done in a way only this program does so I am very thankful for this program and it's ease of use. Well worth the $10 I spent!

Great App!

I am really enjoying this app, it is easy to use and has most of the tools that I need to detail out my company’s structure and projects. I’m still learning the features, so I am sure I will enjoy it even more as I learn. My one complaint is that it does not integrate with the iPad’s ability to split screen. Since I am usually pulling info from other sources, this would be an incredibly helpful feature. I really hope that this is an easy add, because it would make all the difference in the world for my productivity.

Great but...

This app is really easy to use and has a great UI. However, I really hope an auto save feature comes soon! I just downloaded this app, spent hours developing a flow chart for a project that I need to finish today. I set my iPad down for just a few seconds and the screen went to sleep. When I unlocked my device my entire flow diagram was gone! I did not close the app. I am so used to these apps auto saving that it never occurred to me to save often. I am super grateful that you have developed this app, and even more grateful that you have made this free. I would happily pay for this app, especially if the auto save feature was implemented!

Could be a little better…

Excellent app. Allows export of SVG which is incredibly important when embedding images into large format documents.The only thing missing is organizational abilities within the app itself. The ability to make folders would be very beneficial.Recommended app. Hope there is an update soon.
