Read this please

This app truly is the worst. Parents don’t install this on your child’s device, please just use the screen time limits in settings instead. This app checks all of your child’s search history and photos to protect them sure, but what does it do with it then? Your child has pictures faces of people the care about right? What does this app do with those faces? Heck, they probably have screenshots of passwords let’s be honest. Plus this app takes up a whole bunch of unnecessary data than it’s worth, and is impossible to uninstall. Also this app will lower your child self esteem. Imagine that your child’s friend asks if they can see their phone, but they have this app. An app that basically has dishonesty and embarrassment written all over it. Your kid isn’t gonna want their friends to see that! So please, if you really love your child DON’T install this app.

Horrible.

I am arianna. My mother made me get this app and i hate it. it wont let me get snapchat or tiktok and it goves me horrible anxiety because it feels like someone is looking over my shoulder all the time. parents, do not get your child this app. It gives you the wrong location sometimes and permanently blocks your childs apps even after you delete the app. Would not recommend.

Terrible

My dad got this on my phone but it turns on my vpn and makes my phone slow down. I have a brand new iPhone and I’m already out of storage and I only have 40 or so pictures. It makes me get disconnected from any apps I have and I have unlimited data and a new WiFi router. This app also tracks my location which I am not at all comfortable with. It also made some of my apps permanently disappear and I can’t get them back. This dumb app screwed up my whole phone. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

Honest opinion (from the child)

I have had this app for a while, sharing it with my mom, who watches me to whatever and get every single text I send or get. It always “disconnects” from my phone telling my mom that I need to “reconnect” and that I have to switch FamiSafe back on. Yet, half the time it is on, and I can’t even get to setting to change it. On my iPad , it won’t connect to VPN so I currently have no apps other then the generic ones that start with the device. I have tried many things to get it to connect to VPN. A lot of other complaints I have aren’t SPECIFICALLY from the app, my parents just have the option and use it to their advantage. This app has definitely effected me aswell as my bond with my parents. Yes, I know it might be because I’m an “emotional teen” and don’t get to make all the decisions, but for any parents.. majority of kids will despise this app.

I hate it

I am a child who has this app on myphone, I am 13 years old (girl). Theapp works good in all butsometimes when I would try to talkto my friends it would block mefrom the whole app then I would tryto go back in and it would log meout of my whole account. This appmakes your whole phone SLOW. Ifyour parent set a screen time limit itWONT even give you a heads upsaying "5 minutes left". Its soannoying because I would belistening to music or having aconversation and it would just say"screen time limit is up" then when Itry to go back in and everythinggets all glitchy. The app makes mefeel like If I do one thing wrong I willhave a really bad consequence. Italso makes me feel untrustworthy ofmy parents. Then I see other peoplebeing able to be free and FaceTimethere friends and make plans tohangout and I'll be just watchingthem have fun while my screen time is all used up. When I'm on myphone the app causes me to haveanxiety because i feel like someoneis over my shoulder and i don'tknow what is finna show on any ofmy apps.

False blocking - updating not working

I'll get notifications that I need to tap the notification to update the app yet when I do it doesn't work. This freaks the app out and false blocks stuff of my phone. At this point its completely useless to use my phone when nothing works. Its way too restricting and even simple little things like listening to music doesn't work. I am absolutely disgusted that any parent, let alone my parent would download this app for children. If you are a parent and think that this may be a good alternative DO NOT pay for this. The price is ridiculous for an app that practically doesn't work. I went into the FAQ but saw nothing about this stupid update notification I get almost everyday. This shouldn't have been released and I really do hope that the app store deletes this. I'm not salty about needing a VPN, I am just completely unsatisfied in which the app delivered.

Not good at all

My mom downloaded this to keep track of my phone, but she turned my apps off and they haven’t been able to turn back on, and it also says that I’ve had pornographic images in my photo album, when it’s all actually anime, horror games, and memes. This app is terrible. Don’t download for your kids, would not recommend. -♾/10Horrible

sobbing bc of this.

i have never hated downloading an app more. when my father informed me that i would be downloading this, i had no idea what it was. i still don’t know what all they can do through this app. i am currently in the midst of a panic attack, due to fear of my parents finding any and everything on my phone. kids, DO NOT GET THIS. RUN FAR AWAY FROM IT. and parents who are making your kids get this, i hope you know that some extreme boundaries and trust was broken when my parents made me install this. steer SO FAR AWAY from this app. it’s essentially removing all privacy on your phone/device. congrats kid, the only private space you have now is pen and paper. have ats. to all the other teenagers who are being forced to download this, i am right here with you, and i’m sorry.

I absolutely hate this app because I’m minding my own business then I go to “ Roblox “ and then BOOM it sets me up to the log in screen. I have an account but can y’all actually look at these ratings? Can you guys actually let us have an interest in our devices?
