Disappointed but hopeful

Based on the advertising and the quality of the video in the advertising I was really expecting higher quality videos from the teachers. I also don’t understand why I completed my first lesson however it doesn’t register because I chose not to record it. Why do I have to record the sessions in order for it to show as being completed? I don’t like to dance in a whole lot of clothing and certainly don’t want those images and videos out in public. I also dance at night and in my home and would prefer not to have my home or anything publicized. This is a great concept and I support the dance community, I also like that there are different types of dances and inclusive and diverse instructors. It is a very big miss that the instructors are not required to have a certain lighting and sound quality, and it is a miss that the image does not actually mirror, nor can you cast it to a larger screen.

A dancer's take - quit trippin' over the subscription fee

I don't get why people are so bent outta shape over the subscription fee. y'all really think that the app creators and dancers should work for free? Rent out a studio, hire a camera crew to create a new dance class for y'all? Do you wanna work for free? Then why you expectin' others to do so? Plus, Everdance is already killin' it - they gave us dancers a chance to make money online, there's no annoying ads in their app, and there's plenty of free classes.

Meh

I was excited to give this a try. However, I was expecting more full workout options, but seems to be mostly short sessions. The first workout I did was fun and cute, but the rest had poor video quality, too slow and subpar cueing from the instructor. I did one workout that was so slow and the instructor’s half time movements were off beat and even at tempo still didn’t match the music. I think it was just poorly choreographed. I tried another class and she just did neck rolls for the first 10 mins it seemed. Also, not a fan of the TV casting set up. I am not knocking it, as it is a good concept, but just not for me. I will stick with apple fitness.

Worst app ever ! they’re just trying to rob you.

If I could I would give them 0 stars. Had the app for less than 2 hours before I wanted a refund. Didn’t know how to get a refund so I contacted them about it. 7 messages later they still wouldn’t give me any info about how to get a refund just kept telling me I was wrong. Them when I did my extensive research on how to get the refund I had to go through my Apple ID and request it so I message them back and told them I figured it out. Then they responded with “our team is really offended that you called us liars without having a good reason” ummm excuse me ?? But I contacted you for a refund. You could’ve sent me the link or instructions go get the refund but instead you tried to tell me I was wrong and give me a “better” deal. oh and the whole reason I called them liars was because I track activity on my phone so I tried to log in with a different phone so I could watch the videos but still track my activity. I used the same login yet they took my subscription away. Then I went to go look at the video I wanted to do and it had a major difference in how many calories I’d burn. They said i put different weights when i signed up on both phones BUT HOW ?? when I logged into the SAME account and it never asked me for my weight on the second phone. THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS APP.

It's fun

Perfect app for the whole family. I received a subscription as a gift from my granddaughter. I didn't expect it would be so amazing and great! I think it's a wonderful opportunity to keep my body in shape after 60s. I've been practicing this for a month and feel that I have more energy, I get up more cheerfully in the morning, lethargy has gone.

Ok but needs work

I have tried many fitness apps over the last two years and what strikes me about this is that 1) you cannot mirror onto another screen like my tv or computer using my apple devices. I found a workaround but it’s horizontal and still a very limited frame; 2) the recordings are low quality in general. The instructors record in homes or outside or small spaces, with few exceptions, which means sound is mediocre and the video itself isn’t great. I’ll keep watching because I like that it is an inclusive bunch of instructors and short clips. But it does need work to be able to compete with similar concept apps. Also, I keep getting a notice that my app needs updating, but it doesn’t seem to actually update. This is very confusing.

I LOVE EVERDANCE!

I have waited soooo long to find a form of exercise that doesn’t leave me counting down the minutes for it to be over and is fun, and I have finally found that in EverDance. I enjoy every moment of each of the lessons I have taken and genuinely look forward to doing them each day. I’m learning to dance and getting a great workout in while doing it!

Misleading

Love the idea, but don’t like the current state, might check back in 6 months. I installed and went through the onboarding, it said to select all styles I was interested in but I could only select 4 and there doesn’t seem to be a good reason why. I also couldn’t see anything in the app without subscribing first. I like that there’s a lifetime pass with a reasonable price, but once I was in the app I saw why. Browsing the content by style, most categories don’t even have enough lessons to be able to scroll through them, there are very very few instructors or lessons to choose from. The controls for a video are very good, but that’s irrelevant when I can’t choose from much and most styles aren’t fleshed out with moves of a range of difficulties. I also hate that there’s a lot of hip hop lessons but hardly any made by non-white dancers, I don’t want to learn white washed hip hop, that’s embarrassing. I also don’t like that you can’t bookmark or save a lesson to come back to later, and I tried to hit the share button to see if that had a save option but it just gave an infinite spinner and I had to quit out. I asked for a refund because I’m not confident this app will still be around in six months, but if it is and it’s got more content, I’ll probably check it out again.

Great App ( just what I needed)

I love this app I can join in on dance classes learn new moves or ones that I’ve always wanted to do all while getting in a great workout. The best thing about it is the whole family can join in. This app is fairly easy to navigate and I love that there are many dance genres to choose from. This app will definitely help me achieve my weight loss goal.

Good concept but constantly crashing

I gave this 3 stars because of the app not working on my iphone 12. I was able to get in and thought this was great. But as i would click on different things like my profile or going into a video it would freeze and i would have to close the app and go back into it. Also when i would go into my profile to see what the price is to subscribe there is nothing there. Not even sure how to subscribe to be able to watch the videos.
