Controls too skittish

I broke down and bought this because I tried Enigmo/Enigmo 2 and quickly got hooked. But I should have followed my gut instinct and listened to the reviews. The controls are too unpredictable. They work, but sometimes it takes several taps just to get the adjustor to pop up. If this gets fixed, I will up my rating to 5 stars because in all other ways, this game is a real blast.

Magnificent!

Enigmo for Mac and the iPhone were great and now its on the iPad? MAGNIFICENT! When I first played Enigmo Deluxe on the iPad I was motionless... Duncan Knarr did an amazing job on the 3d graphics they absolutely shined on the iPad's 9.7 inch screen! There are so many more level packs, and now I can even create my own level?!?! Unbelievable! Brian Greenstone and all of Pangea... A+

Very frustrating controls

This game requires precision, and this control scheme simply makes that impossible. It ends up being a mrs frustrating than fun experience. Additionally, I would love to see some type of hint system. Some levels are very difficult and I cannot figure out how to get all the water I the appropriate place. I find myself skipping this game because it almost feels like homework trying to get thru a level. The game is very pretty, however.

flipping amazing!

This was a great game before, but now on the iPad it's even better with both the enhancements made to the game itself as well as it just being on the iPad. Amazing graphics and a really fun and challenging concept. And being able to make up your own levels just makes it something you can play forever... until the day the robots and/or zombies take over the world and electronic gaming becomes a thing of the past. Until then, enjoy!

Bucket of problems

Loved playing this awesome game, so I got it on my new iPad Pro. Failed horrible, unbeatable. Trying to grab and control the items is a nightmare ! watching all the bonus points tick away while the pieces spin around out of control instead of moving

Good game, but iffy iPad implementation

I've enjoyed Enigmo for the Macintosh, and looked forward to playing it on the iPad. It's an excellent game, and it seems just the kind of game that will benefit from a touch-screen implementation.Unfortunately, the present implementation is a study in frustration. To solve the puzzles, you have to make very precise adjustments to the placement (both angle and location) of the tools, and the response of the program to the needed gestures is just too skittish. I find myself forever rotating a tool when I want to move it, and vice versa; moving the playfield when I want to move a tool; and activating a nearby tool instead of the one I want. This ought to be a solvable problem, needing only more play-testing to fine-tune the gesture response. I expect that a future release will be better, but for now I suggest you wait--it's hard enough to solve the puzzles when you don't have to struggle to put something where you want it, and with the struggle you might be tempted to give up on a very good game.

Great game, awful controls.

Great game with beautiful graphics, wonderful music, challenging puzzles. But sadly horrible controls. Twist when you want to drag. Drag when you want to twist. More an exercise in frustration than enjoying the game for me.Easily solved if they made an effort, 2 rings -one for drag, one for spin- would easily solve the problem. Or double tap an item to switch between drag or spin.Until the controls are improved I can't recommend this game to anyone.

Very good puzzle game for all ages

Am playing this with my 7 year old son and we both love it. We tackle the puzzles together, he learns about physics without knowing it, and I have fun playing and watching. Simple game principles but well thought through.

Fantastic!

Enigmo Deluxe is a fantastic expansion of the original Enigmo, as it finally brings the custom level builder from the Mac version! (Which is now free!) You can even use custom game files from the Mac version and visa versa!Even without the custom level builder, Enigmo is still a great game by itself! The puzzles are very challenging and the visuals are beautiful, and so is the music. Highly recommended!

Description

Enigmo Deluxe is the iPad-enhanced version of our award winning game Enigmo: * Enigmo winner of Apple Design Awary for "Best iPhone Game" at Apple's WWDC Enigmo is a 3D puzzle game where you direct animated streams of flowing liquid so that the droplets get to their destination. Water, Oil, and Lava fall from Droppers and bounce around the walls of the puzzle. You move and rotate various types of bumpers, sliders, accelerators, and sponges in order to divert the flow of the falling droplets.

The faster you complete each of the 50 levels, the more bonus points you receive. The physics in Enigmo are truly amazing to watch! This is one of the most unique puzzle games ever created. Enigmo Deluxe's enhancements over the iPhone version of Enigmo are: • Built-in Level Editor which lets you create, edit, and play your own levels! • Share your level packs with other users via the File Sharing in iTunes. This allows you to play your level packs with the iPhone, Mac, and PC version of Enigmo and vice-versa! • Over a dozen free additional Level Packs included so in addition to the 50 regular Enigmo levels you can play hundreds of additional ones. • An entirely new music soundtrack composed acclaimed Spanish guitarist Stefan Schyga.
