I Miss It

This game holds on the fact that you won’t miss anything in the room that your clearing, and for me it’s hard to know wether that’s true or not. I do know, that I miss the game, which I think is a pretty good compliment for a game that’s so simplistic and short. It being so short is sort of the reason why I miss it, I feel like I didn’t get enough. I wouldn’t call it relaxing cause you can’t really get that feeling from an app, but it definitely counts as a small break compared to other apps. I’ll admit, the small sentences in between each level are extremely corny, but that doesn’t make the game and less good. Idk how to end this so I’m just gonna say yeah, I like the game.🙄✨

It's a work of art

I download this app simply because I was bored and wanted something to do to pass time. The more time I spent solving puzzles I also learned many things. How something so simple is yet so interesting. No scores or timers, just you and the puzzle. Their are no ads or pay walls, they built the game on donations. I would donate as well but I'm only 16 so... But throughout each level their is a phrase with a deeper meaning behind it. I saved some of them because they spoke to me in a more spiritual manner. And this app really did make me open up my eyes to a new way of thinking. So thank you to everyone who made this. And overall just an amazing experience and definitely recommend to anyone who feels life is just more than simplicity

Everything is perfect; I just wish there was more

This game is a gem amongst pick-me money-grabs and look-alike auto-runners. Everything about the game is amazing; the colors are gorgeous, the shapes are beautiful, and the music is incredibly peaceful and lovely. There are no ads, either—which I was kind of surprised about—and it made the game flow incredibly well. Unlike in most games where you select the level you'd like to play next, "Empty." fluidly flows form one level to the next, making for perfectly seamless gameplay. Speaking of, the gameplay is easy to get the hang of and quite fun to use. The only issues I had were some wonky perspectives going on when I looked at the rooms from below, but I'm not sure if that's something that could be fixed easily, and it's such a nitpick, anyway. I also just wish the game was longer! Altogether, the gameplay is roughly an hour, which sounds fair for a free-to-play game. I just wish there were more levels; I'd even pay for a full version! I would be ecstatic if the developers added more content. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed the game, and I'm excited to play more from the developers!

Must Play

This game took me all of thirty minutes to finish, but its not about the time, it’s about the journey. The gameplay was very fresh and simple; meaning that anyone could play. The levels were fun and medium in their difficulty in my opinion. I didn’t use any hints, but I could see how the feature could be useful since some objects may be hard to match with their colors at times. I also enjoyed that there wasn’t any ads, but I encourage writing reviews because you can tell the developers spent a long time on this project. Overall, the game was unique and refreshing to play, and the music also provided a serene ambiance which really helped me wind down for the day. Definitely recommend.

It’s “supposed” to be short!

Before I explain the title, I want to give huge kudos to the developers. It’s one thing to have a unique idea, but to execute it with universal understanding and care for the player is super rare. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. Now, many of the reviews mention how short the game is. Well, the game itself follows the theme, that we are to focus on two things: the feeling of when something is gone, and how we react to it. The game ending so soon is no different than the items we’ve removed in the levels... we feel “empty” when something we’ve “had” in our lives is now gone. And, our varied reactions challenge how we cope with that “loss”.For me, I’m happy to have experienced it, and to cherish the time we spend with things and people we enjoy. Again, thank you for the journey and the lessons gained.

Just play it!

This is quite simply one of the best puzzle games I have ever played. I would even say this is one of the best mobile games in general than I have ever played. The levels are fun and challenging, not too hard (of the levels I’ve played.) The level design is great. (Sometimes you have to be a bit specific) The colorful look of the game is great and I love the minimalistic style of it. The music that accompanies the game is meant to put you at peace and it is some of the most relaxing music that you will ever hear and compliments the game very nicely. Describing the game is a bit difficult I will just say that each level has you getting rid of objects by making them blend in with your surroundings (if that makes sense) all in all this game is incredible even though I am earlier in the game I think. This is one of those games that I would just say “play now!” Don’t spend time reading reviews just get this. Kudos to the developers- you’ve achieved greatness!

Mrs. Zen

I have never written a review on any game before because I keep telling myself that although I love these games/apps, they’re still not worthy of a review but yet again, here I am, finally writing a review on a game, that I must say, is fascinating and just the best game I’ve ever played. It’s calming and profound game, it’s simple and life changing might I say. I love it. I started playing it yesterday and although anyone can finish it in less then day, I wanted to go slow, to actually mediate and analyze its simplicity. I don’t know if I’ll every write a review on another game but this one is worth of a five star review and recommend it to anyone who is willing to take their time and relax and reflect on life through its simplicity.

Nice game

Thank you for making this game. It’s original and well-executed.I’d love to toss a couple bucks at the developer(s), but I’m only willing to do that through the App Store, and I didn’t see an obvious way to do that. I am not going to use another payment system, and in fact I almost never let the apps I load touch the open internet due to all the embedded surveillance-ware libraries. That’s one thing I love about this game - it can be played to its fullest completely offline. One suggestion, and this applies to many small or independent developers; the way many apps used to work is that you’d have a free “demo” version with a limited number of levels or features and a paid version with everything. This is perfect. It keeps the payment system completely within the App Store, protecting the user, and makes it easy to both sample the product and pay for it if it’s appealing.Don’t get me wrong, the notion of just “putting it all out there” is appealing. That said, I just finished the game and came here looking to contribute, but seeing no easy way to do so, I thought I’d write a review with feedback instead. Again, thank you for this game, it was fun.

Beautiful and soothing!

I pre-ordered this app and I'm so glad I did! I've only been playing it for an hour or so today, but I'm loving it. The music is so relaxing, the aesthetics are cool, and the concept is so clever! So far, the puzzles aren't super difficult. As you continue inn the game, the scenes become more intricate, but they don't make you frustrated. Everything seems to be well-executed, though I think I got a bug in the lighthouse level. The colors weren't changing when the anchor and propeller were left, but then I restarted the level and was able to solve it. I think if you like Monument Valley you'd like this. This is such a high-quality game, there are no ads to run the atmosphere. Please support these developers and this really chill game!!

Yes

This game is probably the best environment/puzzle mobile game ever. It uses the minimalist’s art styling, but instead of the over defined/under defined object textures that many mobile games use, it employs a soft yet consistent coloring. I’m not gonna lie, I haven’t seen any of those colors used in other games, probably because they don’t pop. Empty uses these muted colors and combines them perfectly, making each color seem its own. And the gameplay itself is astounding. Simple, short, hard, and easy. Detail is something that at first glance isn’t really there, but as the levels progress, you’re forced to take a look at your surroundings, and you notice these small objects that you maybe haven’t noticed. When it clicks together, it’s a very gratifying feeling. Amazing game. Thank you for putting in effort, something that you don’t really see these days, and thank you for creating such an amazing game.
