Simple at first, but challenging in a fun way!

I downloaded this app as a freebie from Starbucks app out of whim one day. I finally decided to open it before cleaning up my phone and boy am I glad that I did! In the beginning it gives you the simple step by step information on how to play the game. I'll admit, I didn't think I needed that part, until I got to level 8-- I was struggling! And yet, I was kind of laughing to myself as if I was a little kid again in the arcade. Don't pass up on this app. It's rare that you find one that you get fully engrossed in it and actively use your brain over good old physics. [Cool] Nerd alert 😎.

Too many luck based levels

The idea is solid, but there are far too many "puzzles" that are simply choose when to release the ball and hope it lands in the bucket. This would be fine if there was some way you could figure out the timing, but in many of them, things move so fast that it's literally pure luck. So a lot of levels come down to how many times you have to randomly spam ball release until it magically lands in the bucket. To make it wore, there is no reset button on the main screen. So once you know it's not a solution, you have to go the pause screen to reset and the buttons are all placed in annoying bad locations.Bottom line: Good idea, mediocre execution.

Terrible

The levels were fun at first but grew more boring as the game went on. I feel like the level designers of the game were eventually saying "idk man just put a big thing on a rope and call it a level." Most of these levels were just timing based. The first couple of levels were fun and challenging, forcing me to do trial and error over and over again until I got the right formula and watched the ball go sailing into the cup. However, as the levels went on, all I had to do was just drop the ball at the right moment and hope it goes in. Also, even if I keep everything the same way in a level, the ball can go in a different direction! It's like Bad Rats! The only reason I'm giving this a two instead of a one is because the first couple of levels were fun, and the concept was good. Rest of the game was garbage though.

Like a maelstrom - but a gentle one!

I thought I'd give this a quick try this morning (it being Christmas and all...) and found myself fascinated and mesmerized by it very rapidly. Dead simple (at first) it rewards with little jilts of serotonin and dopamine with each successful puzzle. And getting one on the first try makes you feel like a champ! Just nudge a bit here and there, flip that, move that (and sometimes, things are just simply in the way or can be ignored completely!) and be rewarded with that "bing" of the ball in the bucket! It's not really Rube Goldberg (more like a marble drop exercise), but it is great practice for physics and eyeballing things (probably like playing pool...). I can Imagine next steps being different substrates (harder or softer, or with greater or lesser rolling resistance) and objects you can rotate to any angle!

I ℒℴѵℯ This Game Amazingly Addictive

This game is addictive to me because I ℒℴѵℯ solving problems. Once you get that ball to fall in the bucket, you'll feel proud of yourself for solving that problem. There's no limit on how many times it takes to figure out how to get the ball in the bucket, which I ℒℴѵℯ. With each try, you get to tweak your obstacles until you get things lined up correctly. Then when the ball falls in the bucket, you'll be eager to see the next challenge. This is a wonderful game that will have you using your brain, which needs to be stimulated. I rarely find this type of game interesting but this game has got me totally addicted.

Very Entertaining

I'm so awkward when it comes to reviews ex. the title.Anyways, I was just gonna check out the free app of the week, as I do every once in a while and I found this app. So I downloaded it, played some other games while waiting, and when I started playing it seemed easy. But as I progressed through the game I found it more fun because they challenged my brain a bit more. So I'm just trying to finish all the levels and it asks me, if possible, to write a review. I rarely ever do this, but I decided to write a review. But, really, it's a great, fun game that challenges your mind a bit. It gets trickier, but so far, not too tricky. I would recommend this game to a friend.

Fun. However…

Logic only takes a player so far here. In a high percentage of levels luck still played a significant role. I've had to resort to my old musician's timing phrases, "One-e-and-a, Two-e-and-a…" (My fellow musicians know what I'm saying, lol.) My biggest problem is that the touch to flip an obstacle is not NEARLY sensitive enough. It says press "firmly" but come on. It shouldn't take 15 tries and give me Carpal Tunnel to rotate a triangle 90 degrees. Geesh! As for repeat play…meh. Even if players keep resetting positions - you've just seen where everything was when you open the level! Maybe if you reset then return in a week? Who's that invested? More levels needed to make this more than a few days' play. Glad it was free through Starbucks. If there were regular releases of additional levels it would be worth $2-3. Despite above it IS fun!

Needs an update

First off, let me say that this app is very fun. A decent number of levels, a good variety comparing level to level, and simple easy gameplay controls. I found this game very intriguing, and found myself spending decent chunks of my time playing this game. Here’s the issue.. after only about a week (keep in mind I was grinding this game ALOT during that time) I had beaten all the levels. I really enjoyed the concept and wanted more levels to play. This all happened about 6 months ago. I assumed they would bring out an update with new levels soon enough. They never did. Now I see this app on the front page of the App Store, this is frustrating because they haven’t added levels in over a year. Overall- Great game and fun concept, but PLEASE ADD MORE LEVELS.

Very Addictive!

This game is so much fun that I sit down to play for "5 minutes", look up, and (oops!) an hour has flown by. I like that you may solve several puzzles in a row on the 1st or 2nd try and then randomly the next level will take you multiple attempts to solve. The difficulty level fluctuates just enough to keep you challenged without frustrating you, and I actually laugh out loud all the time at how crazily the ball will careen across the screen when I miss the bucket! It looks deceptively easy yet the nuances of the puzzles are so well thought out that you will become obsessed with moving the props a little bit higher, a little bit to the left, or flipping them over, all in an attempt to get that little ball in the bucket and advance to the next level!

Quite enjoyable so far!

I'm only in the mid- 20's level and enjoying this game so far. I'm looking forward to solving levels that require a greater understanding and manipulation of physics knowledge to solve! (Hopefully, lol) I appreciate a quality, (somewhat so far) challenging game that isn't filled with childish cartoons. After trying this game to see what the creator's capable of producing, I will be purchasing their game bundle. All the reviewers that relate how they end up playing longer than they intend to are right! Lol, I've GOT to solve just one more level before I quit!!... and on and on... lol
