I wish it was back to normal
This app is great and I love making designs but a personally think that the newer app is worse because not only can you only see designs in a smaller space, but it’s also way less user-friendly in my opinion and I just want the original back because it’s nothing like it was. I think there should be settings as well. Maybe even put the ability to change it to the old version in the settings as well.
Great app with lots of features!
Positives: This app is loaded with lots of features! The vast library of pixel art is just amazing. The wide variety of options and customization is great.Wishlist for the developers: - It would be great if you can create folders/groups of your favorite pixel art. (For Halloween, you could play specific Halloween gifs. For a birthday party, you can play your favorite birthday gifs...)- Sort by pixel art with sound.- The main reason for my display is to randomize pixel art so that you are always seeing new art. The “hot” channel is great but plays the same ones from the beginning every time it’s turned on. Being able to randomize the art would be great! - The sound quality for the sleep/alarm sound effects seems pretty low quality. I have the Tivoo Max and having that poor sound quality on such amazing speakers just doesn’t showcase it well. A good selection of effects though!Keep up the great work! :)
Clunky but Functional
The devices Divoom make are top notch, well made, sharp, bright, and relatively open for experimentation (there exists an api where you can operate the device over local network).But this app suffers from a severe lack of polish.Having just logged onto my account from my iPad, after a few minutes I get a message “you are logged in on another device” (my iphone). All I wanted to do was browse the art community to favorite more for the random loop.The app insists whatever is being viewed in app should be sent to the device, which can be slow or appear buggy.Clocks that display an am/pm indicator will get noon and midnight wrong (11:59 am should roll into 12:00 pm, but the display shows am until 1:00pm)Broken English is everywhere where the app tries to tell you how something works, error messages, and basically any dialog box.This app is fine, it supports a blossoming pixel art community despite these complaints, and it does get the job done.If you’re a programmer, you can avoid the app after configuring Wi-Fi, if you’re willing or intend to provide your own art via the community documented API or REST libraries.
So Much Customization!
This app is really fun and I love seeing the creativity the community has made through pixel art and animations. My only complaint is that there’s no way to synchronize both the clock and channel mode together. As much as I enjoy seeing animations from the cloud, I would much rather have all the custom channel variants displayed with the weather and clock. Also, I would love for there to be a fix for the 16x64 mode because every time I use the photo converter, I crop it in place but it ends up zooming in after hitting submit. Also, the weather app isn’t very accurate. I’ve used exact location through tracking and by county, but it’s always off by a few degrees. Other than that, this app is very enjoyable to use.
Seems OK to Me
As a controller for a Tivoo toy it seems to do what it should. You may debate whether the world needs the toy, but the app need not be taken more seriously than the toy. The display works, the sound works, it’s ok. I’ve found that you cannot set the clock; this app does it automatically, and for that you have to register and sign in (sorry, privacy worriers). You connect via Bluetooth audio to play music, and also via Tivoo-Light to control the gadget, though there is a wi-fi option. I’ve been using my iPhone bluetooth settings to connect or disconnect, and the iPhone’s volume control for playing music, as I’ve not found a way to do it in the app. It is encouraging to see ongoing updates to fix bugs.

The Divoom Bluetooth, visually stimulating and stylish speaker with FM Radio functionality is awesome!!! The Divoom Smart app is the latest app that is being used to operate the speaker with its multi function bit lighting system. It’s better than the first app that was used. However, this latest update seems to have eliminated the FM Radio😱 Why on earth would someone remove the radio function. Maybe I’m mistaken, but the radio icon is removed which leads me to believe that it was deleted from the new app menus. This app was moving into the four star / 5 star zone in its trajectory, but now without the FM Radio....I’m shocked! Three stars until I see what’s going on😕
Inappropriate sounds in dj mixer
I literally just received the speaker and immediately downloaded the app. I connected my phone and decided to click on the dj mixer function in the app just for fun. I tapped one of the buttons labeled “vocal” on the bottom right corner of the vocals section, and to my horror and disgust, the sounds of a man and woman in the middle of an “intimate” moment began playing. It last about 15 seconds (which is significantly longer than any of the other options) and was very clearly the sounds of two people doing you know what. This was horribly triggering and awful and now I’m scared and will absolutely be sending the entire speaker back and deleting the app immediately. If you are giving this to your children parents beware and check your app just to be sure.

I got this app because I just wanted to try my hand at pixel art, but ended up with way more than I expected!Since downloading it, I’ve gained many more close friends than I’ve ever had, a higher self-esteem, and a much more positive outlook.I highly recommend getting this, whether you’re an amazing artist, or a newbie! You’ll get friends either way!Thanks for making this app!!
Great app for a great product!
I recently got myself a ditoo and it does everything and more than what I would ever want for it. It has been great. However, I’ve had some problems along using the app for it so I wanted to provide feedback on that as well as some suggestions for the app! - I haven’t been able to use the planner feature as every time I try to add more than two different times I get a “Time Setting Failed” message no matter what I do. - I really enjoy the notifications feature, however it would be great if we could add notifications for other apps and we could create our own notifications banners! - Speaking of notifications. It may or not may not be user error, but only a few of them work (like WhatsApp or Instagram) when others don’t (twitter or Snapchat) - It would be great to see a feature to turn videos into animations much like how we can use pictures to do so. - When playing regular audio in music or videos the speaker sounds great. However, when I receive a call the sound quality dramatically drops for both me and the person I’m speaking too. The same happens for the voice memo feature as the recorder audio sounds bad. I really enjoy the app and I’m excited to see what comes in the future!
Please let us input hex codes for colors!
I love this app a lot and the functionality is amazing, but we need the ability to make palettes using exact color hex codes, in order to use palettes generated from apps like Coolers! If this gets added I will bring this up to five stars!Alternatively, a “get palette from picture” function would be good. If we could upload a photo and extract the colors from that it could be good for making art on the fly.
