A quick favorite!

I love scrolling through this app; it has a wonderful mechanism of making sure you don’t see the same thing twice. It’s great fun reading interesting facts to my family members, like, did you know the amount of time you spend blinking each day equals keeping your eyes shut for thirty minutes?I also love how the favorite fact feature doesn’t store them in order of recently favorites so you can always see old things you favorited easily.The idea of set notifications telling you random facts is golden. All in all I strongly recommend! Go ahead and download to learn something new 💡

Great, if the facts were true…

I really, really, really want to love this app. I love the UI; it’s a beautiful widget, the app itself has a great interface, and I love that each fact has a linked article with which you can learn more. The facts are typically comical, or interesting, intriguing.However, I really can’t be supportive of a “Facts” app that is, in fact, not factual. Some are true, sure - but some facts are only semi-true, some are misleading, and one recent fact literally contradicted the article linked to it. The facts all really sound cool, and it’s such a great little app - but if you want to use it, be ready to double-check what you learn!

It’s Ok..

I mean, I haven’t had this app that long. These facts are very interesting, and I come to find they are true. A couple things, I find it weird that other people have had this app for a while and they say something like, “this app has a wonderful mechanism that makes it to where you don’t see the same fact twice!” But, for me, I’m now seeing the same fact multiple, and multiple times, and I don’t remember the last time I got a new fact.. *remember: I’ve only had this app for 3 weeks now, and don’t use it that often :( * I had their motivation app, which might I add, is VERY, VERY good! It doesn’t show the same quote twice and is very inspirational. Then I saw they had this app, it tried it, and it was amazing at first, but that leads me to, right now, my situation. Maybe you could fix this? Or add something to this app? Thanks! Btw, love what apps you make! Thank you :D

Fun trivia

I really enjoy getting these facts, they’re fun and unusual, and great conversation starters. I thought I knew a lot of trivial information, but I haven’t gotten one fact that I already knew. Look, there’s nothing incredibly helpful or intelligent, but it’s fun and passes the time. I’m not really into games, especially those on phones, so this is a good when in a waiting room, on lines at the bank, etc. I’m glad I found it & would recommend to others that aren’t a big fan of playing games on a tiny screen.

Pretty great, but a few minor issues. PLEASE READ!

Honestly, this is a great app! It is super interesting, and really engaging! I’ve had it for a few weeks now, I really like it! Although, I have a few problems with it. First of all, some of the facts aren’t even true. This is a really big issue for me, because I don’t like being lied to. Also, for the human body category, the cover image is slightly inappropriate. I’m also a little frustrated with the fact I can’t access over half the app because of the subscription stuff. I don’t really want to pay for an app. Maybe, like, allow a few more categories for unsubscribed viewers. Although, I can understand why they charge you for it, so this isn’t really a BIG problem. Lastly, some of the facts are kinda inappropriate. Like, one of them was about, uh, someone’s privates. Those facts really make me uncomfortable. But, all things considered, it really is a great app! Thank you soooo much!

An Amazing App!!

This app is amazing for people who love to learn new things and is great for expanding memory and knowledge. I downloaded this app to learn new things everyday to become smarter and it has not let me down! Not only can you choose what topics of facts you want to see but all of the facts are very interesting and just fun to know. I can now share cool and interesting facts with my friends and family. The app also offers the ability to customize the wallpaper. It also allows you to change the icon on your Home Screen to your preference. I definitely recommend this app to anyone wanting to learn new things or become smarter!!

Could be an easy easy fix - easy 5 star

Keep opinions out of it, they are not facts. If it’s not an absolute concrete fact and you don’t have supporting evidence don’t put it in. Some of the facts are very vague or leave you wanting more so I will click the link to read more about it cause it’s quite interesting. Many links lead to nothing or outdated links to something irrelevant. The rest of the time this is an incredible app well worth it. Easy 5 star if those two items were fixed. Still have widget set up on my Home Screen. Still love this app so giving 3 is hard but I get bummed when link is just a general link to the Chicago Union tribune after stating; “Gary, Indiana is the murder capitol”. Ok but tell me how and why? Was there a mass murder or is it just dangerous?

One of my all time favorites

Ive had this app for many years and it’s still giving me new facts every day. I love that every fact can be backed up by tapping the “I” information button. The backgrounds are really pretty. The only thing I’d change is there’s a tiny bug or glitch that makes it so when you tap a fact on notification, sometimes the app opens on a different fact and I can’t find the one I was notified of. A minor thing, obviously. I really like this app.

Would have given 5 ⭐️ but....

Having to pay a monthly fee to lookup a 'General Search' looks like to me everyone who has taken their time to post, are all in agreement about the 'General Search'of. You see what you’d like to add to your favorite, then accidentally you brush the screen and it slides over to the next now that one you liked and were going to share is gone, and there is no way to find it. OoNobody wants to pay a monthly fee just to search threw a general category that should be free along with the same guidelines. As for the ones that are still looked I have a few ideas on how they could do maybe have a point system. For every 10 favorites shared they get next one unlocked. Something different for each other levels, like certain words that cannot be used twice. So many amount of characters per word. All in all the 'General Search' should not be locked.

Needs the ability to flag facts as false

This app really needs the users to have the ability to flag facts that are false or incomplete.An example is the fact I just came across “The cartilage of sharks is in use for the cure of cancer. But the FDA has not approved cartilage as a treatment of cancer.”Which is an example of a the phrasing being badly skewed. First of all cancer is not a singular disease, different types of cancer require different treatments, and until we’re able to get cells to stop randomly mutating, there will be no cure for cancer. Secondly, the article that is linked to the fact explains that bovine and shark cartilage have shown little to no impact on breast or prostate cancer, and are only advised to be used for research purpose, which is why the FDA has not approved it, because the research does support its use as an actual cancer treatment. But the phrasing of the “fact” would appeal to someone who does not trust science and would be less likely to select the attached article, because the presented “fact” backs up their world view.
