Fun and challenging but...

This game is challenging, it is fun, but they don’t have enough ways for you to earn boosters as rewards. Some levels can’t be passed without a booster. As far as I know there are only three ways to get more boosters: 1. Buy them with diamonds (you earn minimal diamonds when you pass a level and boosters are expensive so this is not a great option), 2. Get them gifted by friends (in order to add friends in the game you have to add friends on Facebook, sorry not adding a bunch of random people to my FB to get boosters), 3. Buy boosters through in app purchases (this is not a good strategy either as most people do this as a last resort, and it makes it seem like the game company really just wants your money, the ridiculous amount of ads they force you to watch after playing each level should cover the cost of rewarding you with boosters on occasion like pretty much every other major game on the market). Although the game is fun the company that produces it has some serious work to do in order to retain players without making you buy the items you need in order to play the game. I’d be more likely to spend money if I knew there were other non-paying ways to earn boosters.

Game is good but totally rigged for many levels

The game has the potential to be awesome, except for the fact that it’s literally rigged on several levels in various scenarios: each level has goals you have to meet to beat it, like serve a certain amount of customers in say 60 seconds. Levels like these are rigged to the point they don’t even give you enough customers or enough time to meet the goal, so they force you to use purple crystals (which are handed out skimpily to begin with), and if you don’t have crystals, then you have an option to watch a 30-90 second ad to continue, and sometimes you don’t even have that option so you lose the round entirely. There are also levels where all your food is upgraded entirely so you have maximum coin earning potential for the round without boosts, you serve all the customers perfectly and on time, and you still don’t meet the level’s goal of earning a certain amount of coins to win the level, even when all food is upgraded. In cases like this, it means you must either pay for the combo boost or randomly earn it using coins or ad watching. The whole system is frustrating because they don’t allow you to play on your own skill for many levels; it’s rigged to get you to spend money.

Annoying pop ups!!!

I really want to give this game five stars, but there’s one major annoying thing this game does. Even though I pay to have ads removed, I still get very annoying pop ups after every single level. When I am on a roll I do not want to be stopped everytime to be told “like us on Facebook!” “Try our other game!” “Buy your piggy bank!” “Complete your daily tasks!” “Rate us in the App Store!” I could play 10 levels in a row and still get pop ups. All these things could just be icons on the side of the main screen with a notification dot and I will get to them when I want, especially if I paid for the game. There needs to be more fluidity into the next level because of the nature of this game. Other than that I love this game. I love the graphics, the sounds are satisfying, it’s fast and keeps up with my taps. I don’t too much care for the mini games like collecting cards and spinning the wheel, but I see the appeal to other players. Another suggestion I have is to see more diversity in the customers. Black people aren’t just football players! We are cute kids and college students and happy business people and fitness junkies too. Would like to see other races included as well.

Good game

I really enjoy the game. It’s challenging which makes for a good game but when you get to the higher levels it is impossible to beat without spending money. The customers don’t come in fast enough to actually win. Even when you spend diamonds, use the powerups and use the extra 10 seconds 2 times and still can’t beat the level. When you buy the diamonds they don’t last long. I can understand making a game challenging but it’s more than challenging it’s impossible. The game is made to make you buy to win. And even then it’s still almost impossible. Also I have recently lost all my friends in the game, which means I don’t get to use the small amount of extra lives I get daily. I’ve messaged in the game and I have had nobody do anything about it. They just tell me to invite friends. I did they disappeared. It’s been like this for about 2 weeks. Also when someone sends diamonds in the messager they don’t show up in the game. The coins wouldn’t show up from the game mail either. I play daily and I have spent money on this game. I will not spend another dime if I can’t get this problem fixed.

Fantastic Game

Kudos and Thank You to the developers of this game! Finally a game that is fun and challenging with lots of opportunity for boost packs via “Frenzy Cards”, completing collections and general rewards. You don’t spend your coins or gems on upgrading the equipment or dishes, that automatically happens by beating levels which is a huge help! Sure there’s ads, but they’re not as annoying as they are in other games I’ve played. Watching a 30 second add to get 10 more seconds or 1 more customer helps a lot. The higher you go the more challenging it gets. Yeah, some levels are really, really hard unless you have boosts, but they’re not that hard to come by. I think these developers found the right balance between earning boosts/rewards and having to spend money on boosts. I’ll still buy boost packs, but I don’t feel like I have no choice like other games.

Honesty is key

I’m going to be as honest as possible. I do love this game a lot but that could also have to do with my POV. The game looks great and how everything works, it’s an amazing game. What I found frustrating is it seems when you get to the Bakery world, the novelty wears off quickly. Even with time boosts and instant cook, I still couldn’t seem to beat the time. The options on many of the “30 or 40 levels” in that get so ridiculous, it’s almost discouraging to continue. I saw myself running out of time much more often than before and just so I wouldn’t lose my instant cooks, I have to spend money just to beat a level. It’s FRUSTRATING! Not only that, the boosts are stupid expensive, the additional features like cards and fragments is a little extra. And often they recommend you upgrade items before you actually have enough xp to do so. I dunno, I love this game but I don’t see me playing very long.

Getting annoyed ads

Okay, I downloaded this games years ago and I enjoyed it. I don’t mind the ads because it gives me more jewels or life, but why is the new ads that is presented to me won’t allow me to exit when I click on it to watch so that it would give me another chance to beat the level. For instance, I needed to get 24 customers or money, but because I ran out of time I had 23/24. So it gave me the option to watch the ad to give me another chance, and when I clicked on it, it was a theater play ad that was telling me to sign up for tickets to see it. After the ad was done playing there was no way to exit the ad, so I had to exit the whole app itself but I had to start over the whole level again, and I lost a life, and it did the same thing when playing other levels. Overall, I really enjoy playing this game, definitely when I’m trying to kill time or just in the mood for it. I will give it a 5 rating simply because I have never had any issues with it before, it’s just that these new ads do not have an exit button after it’s done advertising. Hope it gets fixed.

A Few Major Flaws

Overall, this game is a lot of fun. However, there are a few issues. The higher levels have way too many sub levels that take forever to complete. Moreover, the only way to complete certain levels is to spend cash to buy boosters. Otherwise, it’s nearly impossible to finish. This brings me to another major problem. Towards the end of the round, if you haven’t met your goal, a screen pops up asking if you want to spend 100 diamonds to continue trying. Unfortunately, this screen appears while you’re in the middle of playing the game and clicking on food. Subsequently, I’ve lost 100s of diamonds on rounds that I would not have chosen to continue because of the sudden appearance of that screen. I wrote to the company about the issue, and they refuse to move the pop up screen or return the diamonds. The company obviously places these screens in such a way that players will unintentionally click on it without even realizing what they pressed. Therefore, I won’t spend more money on the game until that issue is addressed.

The game

The game is fun, I play games like this to help with memory and stuff. My only complaint is some levels you have to cook for example 65 plates and have 60 seconds, the people walk to slow the first one don’t come out till almost 10 seconds later and pop up what they want and before you can get upgrade food sometimes it takes forever and the only way to beat the level is using diamonds to up grade way before it will up grade itself. And just one level I dislike the sushi level the only problem I have is when you put food in the boat the sushi is really close to gather and sometimes you will hit the wrong one or you got to play really slow to not hit it by accident, which is bad cause it always happens and happens when I’m not aloud to throw stuff away so I can’t restart boat or I lose level , my advice would be put the food not so close cause they are small icons or make it where the boat isn’t concerned part of the throw away trash levels. And you can refresh the boat without losing the level. But it’s still a fun game. Just updated the new version

Read the reviews. It’s true.

I liked the game when I first downloaded it but when I got to the bakery, I noticed the levels were drawn out and too long. I almost stopped playing because it was boring. Then moving to another restaurant, it’s nearly impossible to pass these levels without using boots or diamonds. They have the additional 10 seconds if you watch the commercials but it doesn’t help. I know what they are doing, I understand you need to make your money but I refuse to spend money on this game to get ahead if it is rigged. I thought it was just me at first but I see a lot of us have the issue of the customers not coming fast enough to even finish the level! Even now, I just had an issue to where I actually paused the game and the customers were steadily coming and using up all my candy to keep them satisfied!I’ll check back later to see if there is an update but for now, I think I’ll give this game a rest. Do not get into the habit of spending your money on this game. That’s what they want.
