Love it BUT....

So yeah, great game! Good engaging theme I’ve done these before (Tap Tap Cook) and beat them with a little work but this game is discouraging.... you have to start all over again $$ each restaurant which makes upgrading horrendous. I loved the first restaurant but then game play just slowed to a halt. Lot of good things going for it - I also like supporting a gaming company like flowmotion! Which brings me to the piggy bank! There’s no way in heck I’ll ever pay $4 to break him open, but if it were $.99 I could see doing that once or twice a month.. or a subscription for $2 a month but you could open it every week?? That would be awesome! If you could fix those two things, it would totally be a 5 star game.

it’s fun but they punish long-term players who don’t want to spend actual money

i love games like this, i have wasted so much time of my life on time-management games and i have no regrets. the pros of this one: tons of restaurants to play through! tons of challenges to keep it interesting and win prizes! daily gifts of gems and coins!the cons of this one: they punish long-term players by making it nearly impossible to go through levels without spending actual money on gems or prize packs. they do have plenty of opportunities to do challenges and side quests that can earn you gems, but unless you dedicate a ton of your time to this game you won’t win enough to even complete all the upgrades at each restaurant, let alone for every restaurant that comes after. they also make the wait times to receive upgrades you buy longer and longer as you progress, in an attempt to make you buy/spend gems to hurry it up. they also make some of the levels impossible to win without some kind of booster, again in an attempt to make you spend money.i just wish i could have thrown $10 their way and then be allowed to play the game at my own pace without a billion ads and pop-ups and requests to spend more, like with the diner dash game series. i miss diner dash.

Much more fun now

There was a lot of cheating going on in the Great Coin Cookout, and it was extremely frustrating to the point no one wanted to play anymore. I am happy to report that support and management have been working to get the cheating under control and taken care of! The game is now so much more enjoyable not only for me but for our team. I highly recommend downloading this game app and joining a team for lots of fun and rewards! Thank you Management, Aljon and all other support members who have diligently put up with our complaints and have worked to get a resolution to the cheating problem. I greatly appreciate it! Sincerely,Meme1

Pros and Cons

The good things about the game are that the tech team is very responsive and they do solve gaming issues. The game is extremely addictive. Your lives last a long time and the restaurants are really fun. You should definitely join a team b/c you have better opportunities to get rewards. The Cons are that they use a ton of sale tactics and you cant pass some levels without boosts. So if you don’t have them you need to wait until there are rewards from a team game or buy gems/boosts. However, if they see that it is a gaming issue they have helped me. Gaming issues on some levels are that the customers come in way to slowly to meat your goal. Its very frustrating. Sometimes during events the customers explode in and its impossible to complete the goal. Be aware they offer discounted game packs when you open a restaurant. After purchasing a much better offer pops up. They call it an “after purchase sale”. I call it a sale tactic and rip off to players. If you are going to offer a restaurant pack then make a good deal for all! Don’t rip people off and make them feel like the money they spent on the game was a waste.

Good but bad

The quality of the game is great. Looks almost real. BUT, the amount of jewels and coins you need… it’s like I can’t get excited about a new restaurant because it’s just getting more and more impossible without spending money. Which I won’t do. Glad y’all finally let us transfer and keep our coins and jewels to the next level! there needs to be a better way to get more jewels than just 1 by watching a whole add. It would be more realistic if each item to buy was 3-4 jewels instead of 10. Also my biggest annoyance with this game is once you get to Party Parlor, you can’t beat it unless you pay or stop playing for a long time. And the fact that when you use your gems and coins for a new product, you have to wait EIGHT HOURS!!! until it comes through in the game. Stupid honestly.

Great game but pay to win unless you want to wait forever

After the first restaurant, all upgrades cost not just coins but gems, and gems are hard to get in this game. Sure you can get a couple by logging in daily, another 1-5 for doing daily happiness plus one for watching an ad. But many upgrades cost 24 gems so you’ll be waiting for a few days to get enough gems (unless you pay real money for them). Progressing in the game without upgrading your equipment isn’t possible, so prepare to wait for DAYS to progress unless you are willing to shell out $$$. I love quality and the gameplay (except sometimes certain cooking things freeze and the level can’t be completed), but this whole gem issue is why I’m only giving it 2 stars.Update - got tired of the glitches so contacted customer service. The only suggestion was to restart my phone and clear cache / turn off wifi. No that doesn’t fix it. After that - no other response. Changing my rating to one star.

Addicting

This is such a good game. I’ve been addicted for months. It’s so refreshing to have a game that doesn’t run out of energy to play (unless you don’t have infinite lives, which you kind of do all the time) , so you can play all the time. It’s also even more refreshing that there’s NO ADDS! the only time I get an add is if I choose to get an add to get double coins! I love this game so much. I also want to add that I don’t think it’s a problem that the coins from other restaurants don’t transfer to the new restaurants. It makes it more of a challenge and more fun because you have to work to get new coins and upgrade your new restaurant, where as if the coins carried over, it would be too easy in my opinion. I’m so happy I found this game. I’m so obsessed and I love it. I can’t wait until they create new restaurants.

Ugh

The game is fun and challenging HOWEVER, now that I’m in the donut den I’m stuck. I can’t seem to get gems to upgrade to be able to pass the levels. I maybe win one game a week after collecting 1-3 gems a day. I’m pretty sure y’all could offer more opportunities to get gems so we can actually play the game. Making it impossible to pass without boosters isn’t cool either. If I can’t upgrade I definitely can’t get boosters. I don’t wanna delete the game but I’m so close to it. I feel it’s very rigged and they want you to dump money into the game just to pass levels. The game should be based on skill not boosters or gems . All the ads to watch and you can’t make it beneficial. You say there’s plenty of chances to get gems I’d love for someone to show me that either give more gems or stop making us need 30 gems to upgrade a single item.

Cooking Crush

I’ve played many cooking games and usually delete them because as you move up to different levels they make it impossible to win without purchasing diamonds, coins or boosters. This game gives you more of a chance. I am enjoying very much so far. Also the ads are limited and it also gives you a choice to get more coins if you listen to an ad. I like that because it’s my choice. So far 5 stars Cooking Crush, you are putting the others to shame. You give me a challenge, but don’t make it impossible to win. I have a feeling it may get tougher as I go but hopefully it won’t fall into the same trap as all the others.

Good except a few issues

First I would like to say that I loved playing the app. However, when you reach party parlor, things are MUCH more difficult because the cost of upgrading equipment and ingredients double in gems which are hard to come by. I literally just lost 10 GEMS which I am very upset about since I gathered them to upgrade ingredients and when I tried to upgrade the ingredient, it said I had no gems when indeed I had 11 when I went to purchase that item. I like the fact that you have teams to work together to earn some gems, earn gems to watch an ad and the happy gems daily. You definitely need to make it easier to contact support as I had to do it here. I hope you can resolve my issue or I won’t be advancing anymore in the game because all of the tasks that are left are coin tasks which I keep failing because I have to upgrade ingredients which I can’t do without the gems. The Mexican food cantina is impossible to advance as you need tons of gems to upgrade and it’s extremely frustrating. I play different food games currently and I am successful with them except yours. You should either make tasks a little less demanding or lower the amount of gems. The only way to get through higher levels faster is if you spend your own cash on gems.
