Used to love but now keeps crashing

I have been using this app for 4 years. It has photos and entries on it for every day of my life from the last 7 years. Thousands of pictures and entries. I absolutely love the app and how easy it is to use. It has all the features I was looking for. But sadly, for the past couple of months it repeatedly crashes after about 15 seconds of use. This makes it almost impossible to use. I have not heard back from support so I am resorting to this review. I am terrified that I am going to lose this app and all the data on it. Please, please fix this app. It is so important to me!

One of three excellent memoir tools...

I’m writing a memoir about the last year and a half in which I was diagnosed with leukemia in a routine yearly doctor’s visit. It has been an amazing experience from diagnosis to remission. Unfortunately, I didn’t journal during it and I’m reconstructing the journey with this app for a visual reconstruction using its calendar view (it’s amazing how different photos are experienced when they’re presented on a month-at-a-glance calendar vs a list or gallery view), and PhoneView to download all my texts which I imported and sorted with Excel. The third tool is My Wonderful Days. I am using this in a similar way to Collect except texts/conversations are presented in calendar view... very helpful in accurately recreating what I thought was an unforgettable experience. It is an unforgettable experience, AND having the details available is priceless.

Great for collages. Terrible for video.

I have been using this app for keeping track of my photo of the day for the last 2-3 years. I bought the video pack last night to make a slideshow of my photos for April. I tried 6 times to upload it to Instagram and it fails every single time. I don't know what the problem is but I created a slideshow with a different app and it uploaded perfectly fine to Instagram with no issues. The link for app support here on the store doesn't point to an actual website for the developer. The feedback form in the app throws errors and says try again later.

Yes and NO

This is (or I should say WAS) my favorite app of all time. It is wonderful for collecting a photo each day to remind yourself later of what was exciting, interesting or memorable on that day. I have been using it for six years and it was great! So why only 2 stars? And what is the “NO” for? The support is totally worthless, or perhaps non-existent would more accurate. I recently upgraded to an iPhone X and because I could not get an answer from support after attempting several times (or should I say after begging for help several times) I lost almost four years of my Collect photos! What a waste!

Capture memories easily!!

I've use the app for 2 1/2 years and I cannot say enough about how easy it is! I used to do project life, but this is so much more convenient for capturing an image a day and writing a brief snippet! It's awesome to look back over 2016 and see something I did every day. It's easy to print them out, if you want the tangible pictures. Pay for the upgrade. So worth it!!

Love this app BUT Backup & Sync not working

I LOVE this app, hands down its the best app I’ve found for what I need. But when I click “Backup & Sync” so that I can see the same photos on my iPad that I’ve added on my iPhone the sync doesn’t work. If I manually go into a photo on my iPhone and pretend to make a change and click save, it will THEN sync to my iPad but obviously this isn’t the way it’s supposed to work (I’m manually forcing a sync). I’ve emailed the company and tried to contact using the link in the app but I’ve never heard anything back. I have the “Keep Safe Pack” and space available on my iCloud storage but I’m at a loss and don’t want to look for an alternative app that syncs properly.

Fun+ options & layout, NO iPad!

Finally! Here I found a pretty good photo calendar where I could pick *just* the photos I wanted to appear in the month view. An iPad version would be *essential* for me to really enjoy the photo calendar. Easily worth paying extra. But iPad version NOT available. =^(( Nice thumbnail views, and good features to order the pics. GR8 for looking back on best moments and vacation snapshots. No crashes. Upgrades R good value. I like the cloud backup, too. #RECOMMENDEDFailings: For example, if you have a set of photos in an Album called Vacation you can select that album to show photos from. BUT, you have to go through several steps to add one photo to the calendar display. Then if you have a dozen photos in that Vacation album you have to repeat those steps 12 times to show all those photos! Why not have the option to show all photos in an album?? ...5 mo. use w/ iPhone 8 & iOS 11.4...app on iPad only works awkwardly in portrait orientation

Best journal app ever!!

I've been using this app for several years now to journal my favorite moments of the day. I absolutely love it! It is super easy to use and it keeps all my memories in one place. I have 4 kids, so it is easy to find something to post everyday. And if I forget, I can go back and fill in my missed days super easy. I can even tag the photo, which allows me to search posts easily. This will make it easy to pull up stuff for their graduation or wedding! 😜 It will even play a slide show of your posts which is fun. The only thing I wish I would add/change would be the ability to export all my posts into a photo book! That would be amazing!! Please add that!!

I’ve been using this app since 2014.

I’ve been a big fan of this app since I first started using it in 2014. I use it as a photo collection diary. I take at least one photo a day. I have so many memories on this app and I love the feature of tagging my photos. I use this to tag my photos into categories. My one recommendation for this app to be improved would be if tagging bulk photos would be easier. Instead of clicking on the details on each photo during the draft picks of bulk photos, then clicking on each detail, assigning the tag, etc. I’d love the ability to tag a bulk of photos all at once. Instead of having to tag each photo with the same tag, which is time consuming. For example, I have 9 photos I upload for today that all have to do with my plant growing progress. I tag all 9 of these photos under the tag “plants”, I’d love for an easier way to tag all these at once, rather than having to click on the details of each photo having to go thru 4/5 steps to tag each photo. Or maybe perhaps on the draft page when picking the photos there could be an icon button for “tag” next to the icons of “crop, details, remove”. The icon “tag” would be useful here making the tagging feature much easier and quicker to use in less steps.

Love it, but still supported?

I’ve been using this every single day for eight years and love it. However, I’m concerned it’s not supported. The last update was 2019 and the domain isn’t maintained. So here’s my bug report. I hope this can be addressed. Often when I scroll through pictures to find the right one for the day, whichever I picture I touch to scroll just gets added to the calendar. The result is that I can’t really scroll. I have to totally quit the app (swipe up) and try again. That fixes it. Also when I came to the support menu, it said the FAQs couldn’t load.
