CBW app users like to complain of small cam picture...well, just rotate your device and the picture goes full screen. It’s not rocket science.CBW app is great to have. Gives you a good sense of the pet areas, but without allowing you to micromanage (which is good), although it would be nice to have faster fps rates. I was also thinking it would be good to possibly have audio from the cams, but that’s really not that big a deal and defeats the purpose of trusting CBW with your pet. I’m sure it’s a gigantic bark-a-thon and pet owners don’t really need to hear it.
Convenient for making reservations but cameras never work
The cameras never work on this app. It always just shows a black screen and says buffering. Being able to check in on my dog is the main appeal of having this app and in that regards it is completely useless. Booking reservations does work so I gave the app 2 stars; otherwise it shouldn’t get any.
Broken on iOS 16
The video doesn’t adjust on portrait/landscape correctly after updating to iOS 16.Prior to iOS 16, the full screen was cropping the video depending on the phone screen size (and it shouldn’t).Also it would be SO SIMPLE to auto load the cameras from a preferred selected location. The favorite option is pretty much useless.2 years without an update is ridiculous, CBW stopped in time and is not really focusing on their customer.A mobile app for CBW could have so much potential to allow Customers to check they pre-paid days balance, get reminders when running out and even allowing us to purchase more day care packages or even an auto-purchase when balance reaches certain amount of days. This would certainly bring a LOT of benefit for CBW Team Members up front, particularly at checkout and these abilities would minimize their need to charge a customer and have other customers waiting during peak time. Come on, CAMP BOW WOW, look ahead and don’t stay idle just because you have a business running, tomorrow a competitor can come with all the features you’ve been ignoring and you will lose business!
Works Great But Lacks Functionality
I have never had any of the problems mentioned in lots of the reviews and I’ve been using the app for almost 10 years. But it’s time for an update and some additional functionally. If nothing else the ability to see our reservations, but ideally to modify or cancel them too. And total cost of our booking including add-on services Would be very helpful as would the opportunity to make purchases online.
No live web cams on app
One of the main reasons I selected this boarding facility was for the live cams. Now, I’ve dropped off my dog and the web cams on the app have not been on all day. The app shows a black screen “buffering.” This is false advertisement this company is offering to its’ customers. I submitted the issue early this morning. If there is an issue with the app, there should be an update posted on the website. Still, the cams should be back on and remain on for a majority of the time, or don’t say you have live cams that make it possible to check in on pets anytime!
Lazy programming
The app disables the camper webcams during their down times using your devices local time instead of the Camp Bow Wow location local time. This is incredibly inconvenient when you're in a timezone that's 8 hours different, on a trip. You can't watch any of the cameras until your local time matches the operating hours of the location where your dogs are. Please change this. I am gone for a few months and would love to be able to see my dogs when my wife drops them off.
New Update is Stuck
I’m not able to get into the app since the update. It has me stuck at entering my name and phone number after logging in, even though I already re-registered. It’s giving me an error about too many log-in attempts. I’ve only tried twice. Guess I’ll wait for another update to try to use the app…….
Just missing bookmarks
I love being able to watch my pup while I’m on the go, but I’d like it more if I didn’t have to scroll through every location to find mine every time I launch the app.The ability to bookmark locations would make this app much better.Also, an iPad version would be wonderful.
New app issues
The recent app update removed my login info. I tried resetting my password, no luck in finding my account. Started setting up a new account and got to the part to pick my location, but I keep getting an error message telling me to wait in progressively larger increments every time I try to select a location. Went to the website, but got the same problem there. Seems there hasn’t been enough testing before releasing into production.
My dog could build a better app!
The new app is complete trash! I went through the process of “re-registering” for the new app and tried logging in only to get an error message that my email is not on file…so I try re-registering again and got an error that my email was already associated with an account…so I try to log in…and get a message that the password I HAD JUST CREATED does not match the user id….so I tried requesting a password reset only to get a message that my email was not recognized. Well which is it?
