Was great but they are ruining it with updates

At first this app was amazing! You’d sync your purchases and get cashback from surveys that day. Then come all the changes. Now it’s you have to buy a product worth more than the survey. Super disappointing but whatever I guess. Next, it’s “awaiting retailer confirmation” for like 10 days until you get your rewards. Like I purchased the items, the receipt is in my account, just give me my money. Then they change it to make rewards have a expiration date. 90 days for a locked reward. That screws everyone who got in early and filled out a bunch of surveys. Also I saw on Facebook that someone was notified that they cannot go past $5,000 cashout but Brandclub website FAQ says there is no limit since they’re lying who knows what else they claim is true.

Great idea. Poor execution, worst customer support

Highly recommend that you do NOT purchase items for rewards or to unlock rewards - do NOT create your shopping list with the intent of receiving or unlocking a reward. Just shop as usual, sync & be happy with whatever you get & nothing more. They will NOT correct app mistakes or offer solutions on known issues or explain how to ensure product eligibility. You CANNOT expect the app to accurately capture your purchases & you CANNOT expect help from their support. You also CANNOT count on items to update & your rewards WILL expire.Also, if you’re a brand in this app, I’d seriously question the integrity of the survey data you receive - the app appears to be curating answers they think the brands want to hear. Despite thoughtful reviews my answers were often rejected and I was told to try again. I know this is a free program, but I agreed to their terms, I provided my consumer data & I met the requirements for several rewards that I did not get & it’s disappointing to say the least. So please don’t invest your time in this app - they’re not operating ethically & there are other better options for rewards that at least follow their own rules & procedures, which I didn’t think was too much to ask for but I was very wrong! It’s great until it isn’t & they could care less about users. If you’re a strategic shopper, I’d skip this one or be willing to go crazy trying to get meaningful, helpful answers from support.

Customer support is non existent

Yes the app works but the app is also frustrating and customer support never contacts you after making a request. I sent a request to support multiple times about different issues over the past 2 weeks and haven’t been contacted yet nor have the issues been resolved. Rewards don’t always unlock after you make a purchase support is literally no help I sent out 2 referrals that I was never paid for and was told it’s not in the system rather than them actually fixing the problem so needless to say I won’t waste time sending anymore referrals and my latest issue is the app logged itself out of my Walmart account and won’t let me log back in saying the info is incorrect when it’s not and support has not resolved any of my recent issues it makes it hard to say that this is a good app when there ar constantly so many issues that aren’t fixed or addressed

Requires Major Updates and Customer Service Lacks

At first glance this seems to be a great app. I was able to link all of my accounts and was making money on my purchases. I referred 25 people and some are having issues with having the app register that their accounts are created. My Walmart account unlinked by itself and will not link again and I keep receiving the same error message. I contacted customer service almost 2 months ago and the same rep has responded to my inquiries a few times but has not provided any helpful information. He just says to try again every time he responds. There hasn’t been an app update in all this time and this appears to be the same problem that many other users are having. I’ve had to delete the app several times because it glitches and closes.

Waste of time

I don't know why apps like this promise consumers rewards that they won't give. In my case they offered 10. Dollars for being a member through a friend who referred me. After doing all three surveys, I went to Walmart I bought the items, I did everything I was asked for but I never received the cash for doing all this. I write to customer support for an explanation and they didn't even have the courtesy to answer. I still keep the receipt where exactly the items I bought are written. Apps like these do not help the consumer at all but are a complication and waste of time.

Working well until..

I’ve been using Brandclub for a bit over a year now. It started out great. I used someone’s referral link; I received the $20 bonus as promised. I even invited a friend and received $20 as well. I’ve been regularly syncing my account with no issue. Until recently, I referred another friend who did not receive the referral award as expected. Neither did I. So I contacted customer service. Customer service claimed that both of us needed to have at least 1 active retailer account. I replied that both my friend and I have 3 active retailer accounts. I have yet to hear back from customer service. I believe they just blatantly refuse to reward as promised. I will not be referring additional friends and/or family as this app is becoming dishonest despite proof. Oh and they started charging a fee for payout through PayPal. I use many other rebate apps and none of them require a fee for cash out. What’s a disappointment.

Needs serious work

This has the potential to be a great app but needs serious tweaking. At first it was smooth sailing. Now when Syncing my purchases are pending for several days waiting for store pick up confirmation even though I made the purchases in person, not an online pick up order. Not sure what the deal is when doing surveys. It says “didn’t meet the minimum survey requirements”. Shouldn’t my honest evaluation be the minimum requirement???! If you cancel the survey it still counts towards 1 of the 3 for the day. A canceled survey should not count and we should also be able to do more then 3 a day. Lots for BrandClub to fix to make this a better app.

Just ok

This app was hard to figure out with doing surveys etc. I do surveys and purchase items of that brand. I may get a small portion of the amount it shows I should get for doing surveys for that brand. Confusing. Sometimes it syncs purchases, sometimes it freezes, sometimes I never get pending unlocked rewards even though item was delivered it never syncs to show it was, have lost quite a bit bc of that. Beginning you didn’t have to pay to withdraw earnings, now I had to add a credit card to be able to withdraw and it now charges a $1.50 processing fee to transfer to PayPal/Venmo and it still takes 4-6 days to become available on those apps even though it could be immediate. Then of course you pay a fee on those apps to transfer immediately to get money. There are better more consistent cashback apps out there.

Has Potential

This could be a great app, if they fixed a few things. Customer support needs a LOT of work. If you submit a request, be prepared to wait a month to hear anything back. Also, there are times when THEY decide how much you paid for something, regardless of the price actually on your receipt. Several times I have not had surveys unlocked because according to Brandclub the price was lower than the survey amount. Even though my receipt clearly shows the price I paid was higher. It’s a bit deceptive and dishonest, in my opinion.Edit: I came back to lower my star rating because I just synced my Walmart account and HALF of my purchases didn’t even show up. I submitted a request but I’m not hopeful since I never heard back from the last time. If the situation isn’t resolved soon, I’m probably going to submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau because this is just ridiculous

Synching and Customer Service Lacking

The app seemed to be working well in the begging. All accounts were synching and I earned my money for my referrals. However, over the last 2 months, my target account isn’t synching and showing purchases. I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting it. It says it synched, but nothing shows up. I’ve reached out to customer service multiple times, but they haven’t responded. Second, I gave 4 ($20) referrals pending but not being completed. My referrals finished registering their accounts and synching accounts. When I check status, it says my referrals need to finish set up, even though they have. Again, I reached out to customer service more than once, with no response. I’m definitely frustrated with the referral aspect, as $80 is a good chunk of change and nobody answers. Pretty disappointed at the moment.
