i got ...

i wanted to let people know that i honestly enjoyed this app. To me it was half video game and half meeting chatting with people I have been a loyal bottled customer for about seven months. On september twenty-third 2018 my account was hacked such a major dissappointment and upsetting situation for me. All my friends are now left wondering what happened to me and some of those friendships I truly valued . I am very saddened that this has happened to me. My photo was hacked as well as my biography . i curse the person who hacked into my account For the innocents now you have my experience to take.

I hope this gets more popular!

Overall the app is a blessing because there are literally no spamming ads! On here you can voluntarily click one on a treasure chest that is a short ad for getting a free bottle or coin which is so sweet as it is always available in case you want to talk to more people in the day.They genuinely want you to meet new people and learn more about other countries, it’s not a greedy app.Recommendations: You should let followers/friends get notifications whenever someone posts an adventure so they’ll know in case someone has to be away for a while or is leaving for good to deter the assumption of ghosting.Please, can we clip pictures on our adventures without having to pay? Or at least give the option of watching an ad for it?Finally, it would be neat if we could create groups that anyone could join for friendly group chats! Wouldn’t it be cool if in able to get people to join you send out a dolphin worth like 50 coins/bottles with a letter from the admin themselves?

Great app! Some minor improvements could make it even better!

I love this app and it’s great, however the messaging part is a little bit rough still I’d say, for example having a way to know when the other person is typing and knowing when the other person has seen your messages could make the app even better than it is already. Nevertheless this is a great app and I recommend it to everyone!

Honestly

I love this app it's amazing and if you have enough patience for the first couple of days it's really worth it, I've met so many awesome and amazing people who inspire me and are now my bffs who I wouldn't trade for the world, I'm so glad I found this app when I did! This app is wonderful because it has settings that let you choose whether ur on for a relationship or just friends, you can create ur own bio of course and choose interests! It's fun and kinda addicting to me lol hope you enjoy it as much as I do, talk to you in bottled! :>

I met the greatest people

It’s easy to use and it’s WONDERFUL to meet so many different kinds of people! It’s sort of an extroverted world for introverts. Took a while to start earning enough reputation points to receive bottles, in the beginning, but it’s definitely worth it. I’ve met people I didn’t like and people that have been my friends for over a year, now. There’s no obligation to be anything but kind if you aren’t getting what you are hoping for. Your information is limited on here. I’m very thankful for this app because it means the world to me. Thank you!!!

Be honest what you’re looking for

I was looking for some pen pals to just start conversations with. I found several that I have had great chats with. But there are so many looking for romance, and so I just tell them up front - no thanks. I can delete people too. Why only 4 stars is because I have so bottles to look at and sometimes I get see them from people I’ve deleted already. You should fix that. I’ve already rejected or deleted so that means im not interested, but I keep seeing the same people. Block those bottles from people I’ve deleted and I should a another option for bottles that are similar like: don’t see bottles from this person again. Then im not wasting my time reading and rejecting so many bottles.

Great application

I stumbled across this application following some nostalgia fueled remembrance of a former similar application on the original iPhone. That application had you receiving random bottles on your virtual beach, and starting correspondence based on those initial bottles. Exceptionally similar, although I’m not sure if they’re related, this application expands on that concept in many ways, allowing you to exchange photos to compliment your dialogue. I also appreciate how this application sternly promotes a positive environment, and warns against unwanted sexual advances or harassment. This further promotes genuine, kind hearted dialogue with persons abroad that allows you to share cultural and geographic nuances, which overall can enhance the users perspective of the world we share. Purchases are available to slightly enhance the experience, but are in no way necessary or forced upon you by the developer, which is greatly appreciated. For that reason, I intend to make a small but needless purchase just to show my appreciation for the application and its developers. I’ve used this application to replace my social media use, and share meaningful interactions around the world. 10/10; would toss a bottle into the abyss again.

Great, but needs one little improvement

I downloaded this app looking to meet people from around the world and I definitely have! I’ve meet great people that genuinely want to get to know me! Some of our conversations have even moved to WhatsApp and we chat regularly. My only issue is that I keep getting bottles from India, which I have nothing against India, but I want some variety. I know there’s an option to purchase a compass to where you can pick which country your bottle goes to, but I still feel like there should be a little more variation on a normal basis.

good social app

i've been using bottled for about two years now and i would recommend to try it out and give it a chance. the team who handles reports have always been fast in my personal experience and fixed the problem. the only downside i would say on bottled would be the fact that there is a lot of creepy guys on here and it kinda drives me away from having my status available to receive bottles. but, although there is some people on here that are creepy or send inappropriate bottles, it's the people not the app itself. so i would recommend to give it a try at the end, there are a lot of options on here and it's really quick and easy to find someone to talk to and just as easy to remove them if needed.

Needs User Verification

This is a great app that is ruined by a horrible user base. An overwhelming majority of people you will run into are either scammers, catfish, or (worst of all) attention-seeking wannabe social media influencers. Imagine the worst parts of the internet community all lumped together.The concept is great (connecting with people all across the world), but it gets exhausting trying to find anyone to talk to who is actually genuine. If they implemented some sort of verification process for the user base, it’s likely this could be a 5-star app.
