Great, but slow down the screen shift!

Totally fun game, fairly easy to get going. But I wish the screen could pause when the opposing player plays a card. Instead it moves back to my screen almost instantly, so I have to keep going back to see what just happened. I'd like to be able to see what is going on as it happens, instead of afterwards. Otherwise, great game!

Same solitaire as game

I was hoping the app would be different from the physical game but it's exactly the same solitaire system. I was hoping for a team vs. team A.I. Where they build a team like I do throughout the series. Maybe in an update, hopefully.A season would also be nice because I get bored with playing games that don ‘t lead anywhere. I played this game a lot when I 1st got it but the interest quickly faded.

Issue with latest update

I love this game and have played it almost daily for a year. Thank you for fixing the last issue where runs wouldn’t be counted. I play by always skipping the preseason. I have all the expansions. I always play as New York.We have a new issue though: going into the first buy round I hVe noticed that I start with the same hand every single time. The second hand is also always the same. Please fix, thank you.

Very cool and original game

Really fun and addictive twist on baseball. Wish there was a little more depth-maybe a full season mode or something similar-but still a great game. If you enjoy card games like Deck ‘Em, or any card games on iOS, this one is a worthy purchase. Honestly, if you’re considering it enough to be reading this review in the first place, just buy it. It’s worth it

I love this game!

Like others have mentioned, the user interface needs work. The card scrolling/selection is clunky, and the layout itself could use some care to avoid stretched out graphics. I also think there is a bug with base runner advancement on some cards that have instant effects, as I've seen some slow runners go from second all the way home on what should have been a single (but this rarely happens, so must be a specific edge case of some sort).

Love the game. App needs some work.

So a couple of things that need to be addressed. The ‘on deck’ card while you play is cut off where the threatened hits are so I can’t tell if my on deck card will be more useful than the cards in my hand. A way to make the cards bigger when you touch them or zoom in would be appreciated. Also, an option to turn off the annoying ‘single’ ‘single’ ‘double’ ‘out’ vocals would be nice.Overall not bad. Some minor technicalities need to be addressed to take this already great board game to the next level as an app.

Enjoying but question AI

I am enjoying this but I am getting frustrated quickly. I seriously question the AI ability to get clutch wins and saves every game. I have played this about 15 times now and am getting my ars handed to me on a regular basis. Many if not most of my losses have come to just amazing come from behind victories, amazing defensive plays or visitor saves. I’m not saying its rigged but I am keeping an eye on it. I want to punch that cyborg coach right in his electronic eye. Can’t recommend this game but can’t say don’t get it either. That probably doesn’t help anyone.

Needs work

I love the board game version but the graphics issues on this make it difficult to play. Grabbing a card re-positions where your finger is so you can't move the card to where you want. In other words if you have your finger on the corner of a card, as soon as you begin to move it, the card has jumped so your now on the center of the card. And from there you can't get it to where you want to move it. Also similarly 3 times it's put a different DH in standby than the one I've tried to put there. Pretty much spoils an otherwise good game.

What a Joy!

This is such a fun boardgame and while it's very difficult to read the cards text on an iPhone, you can run this on your mac and then zoom. I play this game with a neighbor and we use the online function to play. It's just like the real board game, love it! I just wish you could crank the AI level to "expert" instead of Normal or Easy.

Please prompt before ending buy round

The app is generally a solid adaption of the game, which is fun. But, I wish there was a prompt before leaving the buy round screen if there are still cards that can be purchased.I have on multiple occasions accidentally clicked the “Done” button before I was really done.
