Very Engaging!

The game has a lot of different features to explore and you never really get bored! I’ve had the game for around two months now and have been playing it quite often. The game has multiple features for all aspects of gaming from storyline to little chat features to leveling up cards. You can even fight creatures on an interactive level! There’s always something new to try, and the amount of detail that was clearly put into the games making is astounding! It’s cleverly made, interactive, and full of beautiful aesthetics from characters and backgrounds to the buttons for the icons. If I were to be concerned about one thing, it would be that when you are on the home screen and a character appears on the left side, they read out the text below them. On the storyline however, when the text appears for me, it only reads the first word or syllable of the text, which makes for some very interesting listening. I’m not sure if this happens for everyone, or if it’s a speaker compatibility issue, or if there’s some sort of setting I need to adjust, but that’s probably the only minor issue I have with this game. Otherwise, I find it to be very piquant and have been enjoying myself to the fullest.

A great start!

The general feel of the game so far is similar to my favorite anime and its respective games so I am totally enjoying it! The well-voiced and visually appealing characters and their unique individual personalities are all very well put together. Story wise, I can already see a lot of intriguing plot waiting to be unfold. I definitely see myself playing more of this, just add more interactive choices like in the prologue where you are asked by Koga, odd or even, give the players that choice to choose for themselves. And as a side note to have fixed, the error of name in the prologue where you first come into the house of Yuri, it should say whatever you put as your family last name rather than it still being the default Futaba.

Worth your time

I’m pretty sure one of the characters in this game who frequents a shrine called gotokuji is supposed to be extremely ironic since this character hates cats and gotokuji is the lucky cat temple hehe ^.^ (I’m not sure if this is intentional since the game doesn’t address it. I only know because I’ve been there)Overall, this game is very rewarding and worth your time. Pros: -15 characters-completely free to play and you don’t have to wait/watch ads/etc because the game makes the accumulation of energy very easy. -The story is also very well written and the English translation was done seamlessly. Cons: -Some other reviews mentioned how tedious grinding is at higher levels and it’s no exaggeration.-the setting of the game didn’t seem like early 20th century Japan due to the amount of relatively recent slang used by the main character especially. I know this is nitpicking but it doesn’t alter the story or anything so I just wanted to mention it. -My other complaint is how, well, PG it is. I’m not trying to sound pervy nor do I want this game to be rated R. But a lot of the stories end with a confession of love and that’s it. The stories themselves are good but seem lacking, especially for a game that has the word “romance” in the title. I think the game would be more rewarding if the routes incorporated closer interactions between characters. I hope this part of my review makes sense ^~^Cjr

Not Fun Anymore

I used to love this game but now the app constantly has events that makes it really hard to get the special SSR card unless you spend a lot of money. I didn’t mind buying the big diamond set cause I would at least get 1 SSR card with the event draws. Now it’s become much harder to get the SSR cards. I also end up with tons of other cards I don’t need. You have to spend nearly $150 just to get ONE. I get they have to make money but it’s becoming ridiculous with these non stop events as a constant cash gab and that you have to spend so much money just to get the SSR cards! They need to cut back on the events and make it easier to get the SSR cards without us have to spend more than $150. Until this is addressed I’m not going to spend another dollar on the app.

Love it! A few suggestions though..

I love this game. I’ve been playing it since it’s launch and have no plans to stop. I do have a few suggestions for improvement however. Once you get to be a higher level it gets kind of hard to get main story keys, or rather it just takes a lot longer I suppose. I think the game could benefit from other ways to get main story keys besides leveling up. Perhaps to include experience towards your actual player level when you accept orders. I really like the game I just sometimes get frustrated with the amount of grinding I have to do on patrols in order to advance in the stories. Overall, great game though.

Great Story, but...

I don’t usually write reviews, but I decided to write one for this game. First, the story. The story is fantastic. It was well thought out and with some- but not all- the plot twists being unexpected. The characters are lovable and make the game come to life. The main character can be a tad irritating some times, but that could just be because she makes choices that I wouldn’t make. Now, onto some of the cons. One of the biggest issues I have with the game is the grinding. At the beginning, it’s not too tedious. But once you reach the high levels like level fifty and above, it becomes extremely irritating. You could probably spend to an average of twenty minutes grinding to raise ONE level. The only upside to this is that you don’t have to wait for your energy to regenerate, you can just use five gems which are very easy to get. Lastly, I will talk about the romance aspect of the game. This game is classified as an otome game, which, in my opinion, somewhat accurate. There are romance routes, which I had a lot of fun doing. But that was because of the story, not because of the love between the MC and the love interest. And in only one or two routes do you really get to see their love progress. However, in most of the routes, the guy just ends up proclaiming his love in like the last chapter and it feels really rushed. To me, the only aspect of the game that has kept me intrigued is the plot. If you enjoy in depth stories, give this game a shot.

Ugh... the grind 😫

Why can’t I just buy the stories? Or buy keys? Grinding for days for the keys is ridiculous. The higher the level, the harder it gets to get keys. I’m over it. I’d like to read more of the stories, but I’m so sick of the grid I’m just getting rid of the game especially because it’s not even really a love story, there’s no real “love” at all... it was like 65 chapters and one of “oh by the way, I love you.” There aren’t any choices either, so it’s a lot of work to just read a story.2 stars because it’s got potential, but at this point it’s not worth the grind. I’m at Level 72, and I have worked at this on all my spare time. I’ve only been able to grind enough keys to read the beginning, Koga, and one chapter of Kuya. Had I known it was going to be this hard to grind I wouldn’t have wasted keys on the 10 chapter special event that wasn’t that great. If you play, don’t bother reading the special events. Save your keys for the main stories.

Not what I was expecting.

Don’t get my wrong I love the story and the characters of this game. Everything is so new for a voltage game. It’s the grind. You have to grind so much. And it’s only gets harder and harder to grind. I got all the way up to midnight on the patrols but honestly it’s annoying only getting 200 each time. With every level up you get more LP but the more LP you have the longer it takes to get the LP back. Do your forced to used diamonds. And with me having to use my diamonds all the time so I can do not even four patrols and only get 200. Then having to wait almost the entire day. When I’m using my diamonds on LP I can’t use them to get new cards. I think it’s just annoying personally speaking. Other than that it’s a great game.

It’s good, but..

I don’t make many reviews on games, but this one is an exception. So far, this game is really good, and not very many games of this type are good. I like the story line and the concept of the idea, but there is just one thing the bothers the absolute crap out of me. It’s the awful internet connection. Every time I try to play the game, it says the server times out, and it’s incredibly frustrating. I’ve been able to play some of it, but now I can’t get past the Patrol feature. It tells me the server times out, and then after a few times of retrying connection, it says there’s been an error and brings me back to the home screen. All of my other apps work, except this game. I really hope you can fix this. This is a very wonderful game, but I don’t want to stop playing it all because of a lousy internet connection.

Not Bad

Overall the game is great, I loved the patrols and the draws and all. The characters had good animations. What attracted me at first to download this games was that this is a growing game with strong MC. I understand that the character of the MC are typically incredibly kind and considerate of others, has a pure heart and all, but personally, I’m not that type of person. MC’s character bothered me a lot but that’s just a personal problem; however, I was actually expecting something similar to choosing a route as the plot progressed, I thought there would be choices to make (have not played the specific ending routes, only apply to the beginning common route) but it just turned out that I was simply reading a story. I guess it’s fine even if I was reading a story as long as the MC was not the way she is. I’m sorry I’m just ranting on about the MC but it seriously gets me. I just can’t omg. Other than the MC, other features of the games is fun, so it’s not bad, the plot is somewhat interesting (if you ignore the MC’s reactions). So yup, it’s not bad.
