Concerned? Probably for the wrong reasons.

I saw one review on here and I figured I’d answer the question. The review was wondering how the app could give away crypto and still make money. It’s pretty simple really. CoinHuntWorld does the same thing, just without the AR portion, & it pays out Bitcoin & Ethereum every Tuesday. So, it is extremely possible. They don’t even advertise or sell anything. That eliminates all revenue for the developer… right? Nope. Every app collects data (literally even those default ones that you can’t delete). Remember those mile long terms you agreed to? It’s probably written in there. The value is a lot more than what you likely expect. They can sell it to map developers, advertisers, etc. I know that may be concerning but you’re likely giving the same data to hundreds of other places anyway. This just gets you a little something in return.

Aircoins rules!

I so love this application. I got a couple of months ago, and now it is part of my life, and Integral part. It provides an opportunity to get out and get some exercise and make a little bit of crypto money along the way. Do you also get to partake in a worldwide community project and lay the groundwork for alternative financial and banking strategies.

Fun, but I'm weary.

I really like the app but how are they going to make money? And will the ability to transfer these coins to a wallet ever happen? That's not a knock to the team developing this, ya'll doing good work! For now it's fun and exciting to think I'm collecting crypto rather than mining it and I'll keep supporting it. I will not tell my friends though (yet) until I've cleaned our neighborhood of coins lol. Selfish, I know, but they'd clear it all in a day and I have a family to attend too :)

App error loading when starting…

There is yet ANOTHER issue with the app loading for iOS. And still never got my disappearing coins that I spent SO LONG collecting that just disappeared after the last iOS bug issue was fixed!! Completely bummed out already for having to restart my collection (as I already had collected many of the coins in my immediate area locally, which don’t just randomly reappear at all at any point in time or anything… so basically just all that time and effort I put into getting a decent collection of coins —as I have been a member since way back in its beta stages when it was still called “Seek- Rewards through Adventure” — was just for nothing and basically ended up being a HUGE WASTE of my time and efforts!!!) Very unhappy with this issue and unable to use application again anyway due to a new loading error for the iOS platform!!

Finally Giving Up On This Project!

I’ve been accumulating virtual coins for almost 2 years now and the app only gets worse and never progressed into something worthy of staying on my phone. I use it almost daily and now I feel like I have been wasting my precious time on it without any benefits. Everything I have discovered and added to my wallet is useless if we can’t transfer them out. I haven’t been able to use the app for a week now because there’s something funky going on with the built-in GPS feature. Basically, the app doesn’t work anymore. I’m very upset because of how much time I have wasted using it. I have nothing to show for the time I have put into it. I feel scammed and betrayed and now will be contacting the BBB tomorrow to file a formal complaint.

Step Aside Pokémon Go

This app is everything that Pokémon Go wishes it could’ve been. What a brilliant concept to airdrop coins in augmented reality for people to find and accumulate. I’ve been using the app for 5 days and my only regret is that I don’t have more hours in a day to hunt for coins! The developers are actively engaged and eager to assist users, which is a rare commodity. Keep up the good work!

Dream come true

This keeps me doing my street photography. I walk a lot taking pics and I’m even more motivated because of Aircoins. It leads me to neighborhoods I’ve never visited. By the way download a crypto portfolio app. You’ll start to feel real good knowing how much each coin collected is worth and it will make you want to collect more... continuing to do so will have aircoins drop more coins in area. AllIt takes is effort. This is a Win/Win game.

Dead app.

This app is dead. Doesn’t work anymore. LET US WITHDRAW OUR COINS!!! I like the app but if they don’t add the ability to withdraw/transfer coins to a wallet from within the app soon I think I’ll stop using it. Now the app just says “acquiring GPS” on the map screen. Coins never load on the map anymore. Also needs a system to refer friends and earn when they earn. Map needs to update and show coins in area faster. For example when in a car as a passenger the coins don’t show up on the map fast enough and you have already past them by the time they load. Also need to drop fresh coins more frequently in areas that have already been mined. Map needs to better use built in electronic compass for more accurate heading in map and AR views.

Pretty Cool Except For One Thing

App is a takeoff of Pokémon Go except 1) it works better/more stable and 2) you are collecting coins that have some value with potential for major upside. The only thing wrong with the app is you cannot transfer the collected coins out of the app and into a wallet for trading. Other reviewers have mentioned this. This function is actually VERY IMPORTANT because, if you can't transfer the coins out, then what's the point? You might as well play Pokémon Go. Developer, do you have an ETA for this?
