Great but a few flaw

When I download it from my drop box, even though the pages are in order they are random when extracted when I view them on this app. And there isn't a way to see the full file name if its too long for the screen,landscape view could fix that but it doesn't have it. Other then that it works great.

Too many ads and hangs too often to be worth paying for

In just trying out the product, it froze while loading, placed full page ads for video games up incessantly and froze again while I was trying to provide a rating.If you want someone to find value in your app, perhaps you should focus on allowing them time to use it versus dumping ads all over the screen after every five folder selections or file viewings.When it works, it seems to be worth free as a viewer but I doubt that it’s worth the price of the ‘pro’ version even if that does come with what should be price you pay to stop the ads.

Great no-frills decompression and file management

I don't need to view or edit files inside a ZIP on mobile very often, but when I do it's typically a very-short-notice work thing. It's good to be able to get it done right away, rather than scrambling back to my computer from wherever I am.This app handles that job perfectly, and if you think you need it, you probably do. A clean interface and—most importantly—no surprises.

It actually works opening Zip files on my iPad

I always groan when one of my musical equipment products has their manuals, MIDI implementation, presets, etc on a Zip file instead of a PDF file because I prefer to read my manuals on my iPad and there was no way to open the Zips. I did some research and most articles required doing several steps which usually involved buying an app or something else. Then I discovered this free app. What works for me is I copy my Zips to my iCloud. Then, when I open up my free Zip Viewer, it already has a selection for clicking on my iCloud and it automatically shows and opens all of the Zip files that I copied. What a great tool. Easy and free.

Cannot save my files that I opened here to my cloud or anywhere!

I used this app for a while and found another zip app that works better. I’ve been trying to get the files I opened with this app saved to my cloud drive, but when I asked on their forum they said the only way to do it is through iTunes. I haven’t used iTunes in a long time, but I tried following their instructions. Apparently now you are no longer able to manage apps through iTunes. I have posted to their forum and sent several emails telling them this, but they won’t respond. It shows that my comment is “awaiting moderation” when I login to their forum, and they won’t respond to emails. Very frustrating. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend this app to anyone! Apparently if you use the free app and simply want to switch to the pro version this is the same issue. The app I currently use to unzip is the same as the pro version, just with ads. Now it seems I’m going to lose all of the files I opened with this app since they won’t help me. I guess they don’t have an answer so it’s easier for them to ignore. I haven’t ever left a bad review for an app, but this is really ridiculous. I hope my review will save someone else from this headache!

Review

This app worked only for a few times. It advertises and shows a lot of the positive reviews but not much negative for some reason oh to get you to buy the paid version. I cannot open the Zips like before and the description does not mention that it will work only for a little while. The same with the other apps. Apple should force them to add that they will work only for a while. With them being like this I don't want to take a chance and purchase their premium one in case something else pops up.

Great Program

One of the best zip programs that I’ve used. Extremely efficient in opening this file and previewing the documents within the file in an easy orderly fashion. Definitely recommend this product for anyone having to use zip files.

Worked great first time!

I was able to downloaded a zipped ebook pdf from a webpage and open it immediately in this app. I could read it in the app, but I easily used the "open in" link to open the unzipped pdf in iAnnotate to read and make notes.Couldn't have been easier, unless Apple were to support automatic unzipping of files for all apps so I could open the zip file directly in the preferred destination app - which they don't 😪

This is an instant fix for my iOS problem

I'm giving it five stars after only a short time using it. I purchased an online study course that has downloadable zipped mp3 files. I've been struggling with downloading them to my phone until I found this app. Makes it a breeze. If I do nothing else with it I already officially love it. Thank you

Easy to use and works great

I had to open a zip file. I downloaded this app and didn’t expect it to work or to work easily. It was plug and play. I clicked the file, opened with more, the zip viewer was there. I clicked the zip viewer and the documents opened in a second! Super happy!

(Also password protected zip files.) Import zip files from iCloud Drive or other cloud providers such as Dropbox or Box (app needs to be installed on the device) directly from Zip Viewer. Zip files will be automatically extracted and stored in the application documents directory.

You can drill down through the folder structure within the zip file. Files can be viewed by the build-in file previewer which supports file formats such as: - iWork documents - Microsoft Office documents (Office ‘97 and newer) - Rich Text Format (RTF) documents - PDF files - Images - Public text files - Audio file (playback) - Movie files (playback) Share extracted files via email, Twitter, Facebook - Pass them through to other applications that support the file format (e.g. for editing) or printed via AirPrint. (functionality is depending on your device configuration) The extracted files can be removed manually. The complete folder/file structure can be downloaded via iTunes file exchange too. Use Zip Viewer alongside with Zip to Mail to get the full experience of viewing and creating zip archives. Zip to Mail is also available for free on the App Store.
