THIS APP IS A SCAM. DO NOT GET IT!!!

I wanted to watch an old childhood show again. I was already suspicious of this app but I trusted it because well I grew up watching Zee Tv. But I was dumb to log out seconds after I made the account just to realize they never ask for a password instead they ask for a OTP from your email that they never ever send, so now I have a monthly subscription that I cannot even cancel! AND I JUST MADE THE ACCOUNT. luckily I was smart enough to use a card that I could discard. BUT DO NOT GET THIS APP. It a scam AND I NEVER EVER WRITE REVIEWS. i am so mad because it the first time I EVER EXPERIENCED A REAL SCAM.

Frustrated with the app in google chromecast

I am able to watch only one episode of any series that I open in the app. The second episodes do not play. I tried on multiple different series. I closed / exited and rebooted chrome cast without any luck. One of the series I was able to cast from my phone to the tv and it worked. Now, anything that I cast is working but with horrible resolution completely pixelated and unable to see anyone face on the screen. The most frustrating app for me and I wish I had not paid for this service.

It’s a surprise how this app was accepted in the App Store

The airplay feature doesn’t work, video keeps loading for a long time even though other apps work fine on the same 100mbps network. It’s quite incredible that a company like Zee can build such a bad app that is clearly not user friendly. It’s not only user friendly it’s probably created by the team that hates their users. Paying $9.99 per month but the experience is that of a free buggy apps built by amateur developers.

Fun app but needs to keep the watching history

The app is good but the current watching history is not maintained at all. If you are watching 90 episode for example , you need to search the show , then scroll to 25th episode( only 25 episodes shown at. Time) then click that then scroll another 25 then open that one and so on until you see the episode you want. Also you need to remember the episode you are wTching in the first place ;)Please do something about this

Worst App

Let me be straight about what I would like to say about this app. This is one of the worst subscriptions that I have and still regret about subscribing to this app. Poorly developed and managed. It is buggy to the extent that, to report an issue it provided a button in the help centre and even that is not working. This could be one of the worst apps you could ever use in case if you subscribe.

Nothing is working

I subscribed and paid for a subscription, since days I’m trying to watch something, I can’t click on anything in the web portal. I can search but not click and watch, I downloaded the app to try here, it doesn’t even let me login, it says something went wrong please try again. Please either fix it or refund the subscription.

App doesn’t work

It says “retrieving saved preferences” and basically displays “something went wrong” I keep clicking on the Retry button and nothing. I think basic step 1 for any app is to atleast launch correctlyTo access through the browser, it keeps saying update browser and doesn’t launch the player. However your subscription page to take payments for Zee5 works flawlessly.

Absolutely atrocious app. Not recommended at all.

Downloaded this app hoping to watch some regional content in the US. But good lord, the app and website are just horrendous. First, why in the world does it show a random Google ad in the website and app, right up top? Feels like some random spam website stuff. Second, the login is completely broken. ‘Get started ‘ and’Subscribe’ are straight up confusing option. Login/Register or Login/Subscribe should be the options. Also, the login option to proceed after entering the email just freezes up and doesn’t go to the OTP screen even after trying multiple times.Also, clicking on the thumbnail should take me to the details of the film/TV show, not play the content. It is an extremely frustrating implementation.It feels like no one developing this app and website has ever tried logging in and using this app. Won’t be re-subscribing once my month is done, feels like an extremely cheap experience for what Zee is charging.

Contents ok but App needs a lot of improvements

App not user friendly. Not easy to stop and at the end of movie start next movie immediately without asking.Not easy to forward a movie. Also recently asking for feedback and once rated cannot submit and it hangs and crashes.

TV App always hung while resuming movie

It is very frustrating experience. In general App is slow. Also when I pause movie to watch later and try to launch it never resumes rather the screen gets stuck at the last watched frame. Exiting app or restarting TV doesn’t help. I start watching from beginning again and fast forward. Planning to close zee subscription soon. I wouldn’t recommend this OTT platform, feels like stable software applications
