Missing features?

No search button? I started a movie and did not like it. How do I stop it and go back to a home page? On Apple TV, when you back out of a movie, it keeps playing in the background until you check completely out of Xumo. OddNow today on July 22, just a splash screen comes up on both IPad and Apple TV. Ipad says check internet connection….which is fine. Their support page has all the FAQs and advise to check internet but nothing to really address the problem. No further way to contact them. Dropping rate to one star now.

Best free TV experience

There are lots of apps now providing free tv with ads. Xumo is the best one. Lots of content, runs smoothly, and not a crazy amount of ads. And wow the new design and guide are beautiful and easy to use.

Disappointed!

I got the hang of using the app, but I was surprised when the movie I was watching was interrupted by the beginning of another movie. I thought that maybe I missed something about how to use the app, but after 8 or 9 times, just how patient should I be? I gave it a fair chance, but somehow the moments of movie magic are completely obliterated when an entirely different movie interrupts the original actors' dialogue. Too bad. The whole point of the app, I thought, is to engage the customer in interesting programs or movies. Nope. So sorry. If I want to ditch a movie I'm watching in order to watch something else, then I should be the one handling the process.You're not taking any money from me, but you are taking minutes of my time that I can't recover. The experience is doomed to be a waste from the beginning. I sure have enough opportunity for that without looking for yet another chance to waste more time!specked44

Not very good. Crazy amount of ads

Everything you do in the app causes lots of ads to play. Start a movie, watch several ads. Accidentally hit the back button, a bunch more ads coming your way. Need to fast forward because of terrible playback issues within the app, yup you guessed it more+more ads. When your finally done with your ad break, wait there’s actually more ads on each channel that are separate from in-app ads =) You can’t make this stuff up. I would not use this service unless it was the only service available.

Ruined One of my Favorites

I just wanted to show V/H/S to my family. This was the only free option. Xuno interrupted the quick-cutting horror anthology action by interrupting the flow of the film literally every 10-15 minutes with an average of 7 commercials each time. It doesn’t tell you how many commercials you’re getting each time or how long it’s going to last. What was a barely two hour long movie was instead around 2:40 of repeating uninteresting commercials that cut into the pacing abruptly and disturbingly. I am not watching anything on here again - all the other options such as tubi and Peacock do free better.

Used to be better

After it changed to XUMO PLAY , have had nothing but problems, on both this app and Roku app , doesn’t open all the time , and sound overlapping from previous channel, hard to listen to two or three things at once . More issues but may just give up , always a fight just to view anything

Terrible new format

Double click to watch a channel is horrible. The landscape mode change it terrible. DONT FIX WHATS NOT BROKEN!

I really like this app

A lot of great channels and no subscription fee. I can watch live news, and I love the cooking and wildlife channels.

Decent-But At A Price

A common problem with apps such as these is the commercials often do not insert into the program’s “donut”, which makes for a jarring experience.Xumo is smooth, so smooth that you watch an ad before you can do anything. And worse, you can’t leave the app until it is done which I find unacceptable.Two stars until I can back out, being forced to watch advertisements to return to the AppleTV main menu is an anti-pattern that destroys any value.

I’m new to Zumo, but I am loving that you’re offering these options from the Faith and Family section. I struggle to find decent programs to watch. I’ve also been interested in learning about the Jewish culture. Thank you for offering these options in your programming.
