Far from perfect but definitely worth it in my opinion

The whole reason I got this app was for giphy widgets and because I saw everybody doing them for free. they are in fact not free at all, or maybe they used to be i don’t know. I ended up tapping the media option which allows gifs/videos at 1 fps. i’m not too picky though so when I figured out you can do that I was still fairly satisfied, especially since idk of any other widget app that allows moving pictures, so this app is unique nonetheless. I am just slightly disappointed that it can’t go a little faster. Very cool easy to use app.

Only works once

It says it would give me a free widget to add to my phone but still tried to get me to pay, I added 3 widgets on my phone and then left it alone but wanted to change something and then when I did it changed one of my widgets to match the other one and didn’t let me change it back unless I agreed to pay which I didn’t do, I deleted the app twice and tried to redo it but it’s still not working….

It's okay I guess...

Ok so I'm not trying to be rude but I made like 2 or 4 widgets and it said that I could pay or wait 10 hours so I waited 10 hours bc I wanted to make more anyways after the 10 hours I went back to see if the hours/minutes we're done and they were so I got a gif from Pinterest to use so I did my thing and edited it so it can be good for my home screen when I put save it simply said "max amount of edits made" so when I pressed the "update" button it took me to payment options like amount of money yearly to pay stuff like that so then I was really sad I suggest at least letting people use 12 or 13 for free on each small, medium, and large widgets just so people can have more fun with their homescreen designing but either than that the app is great and suggest downloading it I really hope you guys fix it or update it tho bc it's really cute and I love the gif ones thank you

I can't make a 5 or 6

I have to say this is a amazing app but I only made four and is saying I have to pay I would suggest that if somebody doesn't pay and presses On the 5 or 4 how much there doing they can at least do like 12 small widgets and 12 for each basically. Just some advice. 🐸

number of edits

i had to delete an gif i made so i can recreate another one but then it wouldn’t let me do it again!!!! i love this app but this is so unnecessary and unfair to me and also how you have to pay just to get more tries to make gifs, no hate or anything to this app i absolutely love it but i’m just frustrated about the number of edits you can make. I also understand they y’all have to get paid and stuff but atleast make it maybeee 2 or 3 edits but only being able to make 1 isn’t fair

wasn’t prepared for this…

i understand that some apps, need a way to get money; by subscription. but there was something that made me really upset with this app. i went into it, thinking we would get you know. an unlimited amt of “widgets”, but unfortunately there was a limit. 5 edits to be exact. i wasnt aware of this in the beginning. it didn’t tell me, its kinda like its trying to get you a little taste of it. and trying to get you to waste those edits. so you can go ahead and buy a subscription. other than that, it was easy to apply the gif and tweak here and there. i unfortunately wont be using this app, due to what i stated above. might check on it later tho.

It was okay i guess.

I wanted to make a widget with a gif but for some reason it was really hard to use, there was bugs and it didn't automatically fit the frame like other widget apps. Also, it is really hard to use the app if you don't pay. You only get 5 edits and then you have to wait a entire day for you make make another five edits. I think I'll stick to widgetsmith.

Eh, it’s good, but having a subscription on it is not worth it.

It’s okay, and even with me using the subscription boost, it’s still buggy. i use GIF and media once, and it worked fine. i use it later, and all of them are frozen. then they turn gray, and stay like that. i changed the widgets back and forth, and nothing. the app is okay, but having a subscription is not even close to worth it.hopes this helps! happy 2022!

First Use

The app easily & clearly walks you through the process of creating and adding widgets to your home screen. HOWEVER, the widget shows up as a blank square after selecting the widget I wanted from WidgetKid. There’s no widget! iPhone version 15.4.1 edit: dev contacted me to help, I was thrilled, not many would do such. I replied and never heard from them again. It appears it just isn’t compatible with newer versions of iPhones
