Love this app

I went on a journey following my grandfather's diary when he became a refugee 85 years ago. I was able to use Whisper Memos to capture my thoughts and my interviews with the grandchildren (now in theeir 80s) of the people who were mentioned in the diary. It was amazing to be able to capture my thoughts on the fly as well as use it for interviews. I had one issue and the developer resonded within an hour and fixed it! It's a great app and was a great experience. I will continue to use it for sure.

Extremley useful

When I first downloaded whisper I was unsure how much I was going to use it. I was worried itd be one of those apps I open once and forget about. But, that was not the case. It has been a week and I've recorded nearly 50 memos. From items for my grocery list, things to do around the house, marketing campaigns for my startups, and more. It has been perhpas he most effective way for me to capture the millions of things that pass through my head everyday in a quick and efficent manner. It is barebones which is perfect, no need to overcomplicate it. For someone like me that is always on the road, traveling and just generally busy whisper fits in perfectly with my needs.

Cant log in

The log in via email method is broken. The link should open in your app but it doesn’t. It opens in the web browser.If you can’t log in then you can’t use the app. So the app is completely inert.

The outcome is not very accurate.

I've used it a few times now. I try to enunciate and speak clearly, yet it does not seem to parse my speech very accurately. e.g., I say 'prescription,' and it writes 'description.' I say "Shane", it writes "Shame". I say 'dwelling,' it writes 'twaling.' What even is twaling?

Is there something wrong with the configuration for whisper AI on this prpject?

I don’t think the transcription is that good as it stands. For example, I keep saying trying to write a memo to stain some wood I have, and it seems to only want to put down something like “staying the wood” or “stay in the wood” It’s also written some complete nonsense, very frustrating.

Doesn’t work

Paid for a yearly subscription only to find out the apple watch capability doesn't work. No response from email and twitter requests for help.

daily tool

updated: app is fixed and now a huge part of my daily workflow. perfect for quick notes while driving, walking, or in the middle of the night. highly recommend. apple watch capability is also great feature.
