Don’t be fooled. It’s a scam.

THIS IS NOT WHAT IS SHOWN IN THE ADS THAT PLAY CONSTANTLY ON PINTEREST AND ELSEWHERE. The hands of the watch face do not show the time. Yes, each face has 3sec animation, but it plays once and then the hands stay at ten past ten, and the second hand doesn’t move. You can Restart the phone, restart the watch, check you have the right watch series assigned, make sure “always on” is off in preferences, reinstall the app, re-add the watch face. Nothing works. It’s a scam, like all the other watch face apps. But the trick this time is that they make you pay for it before you find out the truth. The ads are faked videos, with working faces mapped onto real watches. Don’t fall for it.Apple: I want a refund. The developer won’t give me it, so it’s on you. You’re hosting these fake apps. I received a response from the developer telling to me to check that I’d done everything I just listed as done… and an invite to contact them directly, but there is no contact information on their site. Go figure. If someone wants to send me an email address…?There’s no support on the website. There’s a help email, but all you’ll get is a list of troubleshoot steps that you get when you install. ITS A SCAM. Youll be convinced when you see all the reviews, rather than just the fake one that’s pinned to the top.

Watch Faces Don’t Work

Unfortunately I downloaded this because of the different variations of watch faces, however they are non functioning faces. For example, your analog watch faces don’t work as an analog watch. Instead it plays an animation of the hour hand and minute hand spinning around and displays the time in digital…. Why not just make the analog face work accordingly. Also with these “tactical watch faces” the step counter doesn’t count stays stuck on a particular number, the temperature also stays stuck on 100 and the location stays on New York. These watch faces would be excellent quality if they were actually functional. Maybe I am doing something wrong cause I even tried to edit the face to make these changes but the whole “widget” is replaced to something else instead of the individual pieces in the widget. If someone knows something I don’t, I am open to suggestions. Until then, that is why this remains a one start for me.

Annoying push for positive rating

When I add a face, it wants you to click a button on whether you like the watch face or not. I literally just added it, how do I know yet? Huge problem is there is ONLY a yes button. No way to swipe it away without answering the question, no x to close it out. It is FORCING me to click yes. I have to either click the button saying I like it or close the whole app out and go back in. Also, some of the colors are muted on the watch (not like in the app). I never purchase apps and I’m regretting this already and it’s only been 15 minutes.

Worst $10 Ever Spent…

UPDATE: After receiving a response from the developer, I received another app update and the problem continues. The hrzones complications stop getting updated on the watch face unless I remove and then add it again. I don’t know if this is also happening with other complications.As far as I can tell, every time this app is updated, the watch face that I had activated on my watch stops updating the widgets that are “custom” to the app. When I open the Apple Watch app, the watch faces from this app have lost the “connection” to the widgets to the faces are displayed with only the standard widgets. For example, if I activate one of the heart monitoring faces, after the app is updated, only the time is updated on the watch. Other widgets such at heart rate, battery percentage, step counter, etc. do not change and therefore, are not displaying accurate information.

I am changing my rating to 5 stars. Thank you! Poor User Interface and Complications

I’ll start off with some of the faces are unique and I enjoy them. I’m not surprised it is this way since it is 3rd party but the complications on the watch face did not refresh on time or accurately, it would be in the ballpark, (Ex. My activity is 1579 Calories but it displays 1100 for at least a few hours despite force refreshing.The location based complications are frustrating, I acknowledge that these problems can probably be fixed if you spent considerable time troubleshooting but the reality is most people don’t want to do that. Back to my example, the weather would only display the capital of my state which the weather was entirely different. I changed my location settings to always, turned on background app refresh, made sure all permissions were enabled but still nothing. When I clicked on the complication the watch face would crash.

Trash

First and foremost there are far too many negative reviewers with the exact same complaints for the several positive reviews to be legitimate. Aside from the payment wall immediately, I have not even gotten a single watch face to load. ALL of the literature/FAQ/instructions are loaded via a server instead of being IN the download itself. Well, their server is down/off or whatever so I av g even access instructions or trouble shooting. Several people have said bait and switch and ABSOLUTELY, this is a joke. Back in the day, Apple didn’t allow crap like this to happen to THEIR customers. APPLE step up please. Get these scammers OUT of the App Store because this right here.. you’re no better than the droids.

Utter garbage

They tell you it's free and that you can use the free version without paying but I just tried installing serveral watch faces and was greeted with a nag screen to pay 6.99. I haven't even installed one theme so I don't know if it's worth 7 bucks. Apps like this are not worth it at all when they don't even let you try it first. Everything is locked behind a pay wall. Save your money.**UPDATE**You can tell that this developer didn't read my review at all. They proceeded to give me troubleshooting steps? I didn't say the app was broken, I said that you couldn't even use the app unless you paid for it. I've noticed this same trend with other watch face apps. They will jot even let you try the app unless you agree to a monthly plan. Other apps offer their trials for free without agreeing to some shady, hard to get out of subscription. These watch face apps, not so much.I deleted the app because they didn't off a free trial without the need to agree to pay at the end of it. No thank you. I'm not agreeing to a free trial whwre I sign my life and my email away and my bank account because you can't give us a couple watch faces to try to see if it actually works. Only then will I even consider agreeing to something like this.

A waste of money

$7 for nothing more than pictures. The advertisement on Instagram showed Watch faces with movement. Reality is that they are just still images. Terrible, don’t waste your money. UPDATE: I followed the developers instructions in order to make the live faces move. While that did get the faces to move, they only move for 1-2 sec right after the display wakes-up. It becomes a still picture after that. Again, don’t waste your money.Update #2: The developer says the watch faces can only move/be live for 2 seconds due to Apple restrictions. Well then what’s the point! Again, do not waste your money!

Waste of time & money

While the app has a decent selection of faces, they’re useless if you cannot get them to display on your watch! I’ve added a bunch of them to my watch app, and when u select it as your watch face, it does nothing.. it stays stuck on the last one u got on there. Never had an issue like this with original faces.. if I cannot display them on my watch, then this app is useless.. I’ve gotten maybe half a dozen out of over 20 faces to actually work, and yes, I disabled Always On feature on my series 9 watch.. this is frustrating.. just refund my money, this is worthless..Update (after hearing from developer) - Yes, I rest my phone and my watch several times in hopes that would correct the issues. And both of my devices are up to date on software, but nothing seems to fix the issues I’m having. I’ve already deleted the app from my phone, and removed the faces I could get to work from my watch. Just refund my money, this app is a scam and does not work as advertised!
