A nice surprise!

I had been looking for a wide angle lens for my camera to take a picture of the front of my house that I am selling to post online and had trouble finding one in stores and under $500. After running out of ideas I decided to try and find an app for my iPad Air to help solve my problem and boy was I surprised! This app did a really great job of capturing the entire house and with pretty good quality also! I would definitely recommend this app to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to an expensive wide angle lens.

maybe it is me

but I can not get this app to work...it basically does (if I can get it to work) but the iphone can do in terms of creating a panoramic view via stitching of 2 or more shots...but like I said have not been able to actually create a photograph yet.

1st time excellence!

Can't see the complaints. Worked well in moderate light with much detail to align. Not fast, but not unreasonably slow for what it had to process.

Takes some practice but it works!

The marketing and instructions could be better. Maybe a demo would help. It takes some practice but you can get some great shots. I'm using this for real estate photos.

Takes pictures but that's it

This app has taken some nice wide angle shots. I'm pretty happy with them. That being said, it has some major flaws. First, it has NO instructions whatsoever. It only has 2 options on the interface; take a picture or share a picture. Another major fail is that you can't save the picture to your photos. Lol. What?! Also, you can't use your flash. If you don't mind those big fails, go for it.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟LOVE THIS🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

❤️THIS HAS REALLY COME ALONG WAY💚This is one of the best Pano Stitcher I have ever used on the iPhone or iPad. Truly a wonderful experience to shoot and see the stitch results. BTW I'm a professional photographer using high end Medium Format Digital cameras. I love to shoot 360° and always pull my iPhone out to get the quick shot of a Pano360 to show a client what I can do with my other camera. Really a fantastic tool to have in your pocket. Thank you!

Works great

I read some reviews before I got this app. Yes, without instructions, it is really hard to figure out how to use. Go to the details section of the app page and read the instructions first. Everything makes sense to me after that. In the share bottom, I save photo onto my phone with no problem.

Great for wide angle photos!

I bought this app to use to take photos of the interior of my house to use with it's for sale listing. I'm not particularly good with cameras, smartphones, etc - but this app is very intuitive and easy to use! The photos are nearly seamless and I imagine they will get even better as I get better using the app. Well worth the $0.99!!

So far so good

I needed to take some pics of a bedroom for a website. I've been testing it out and seems to do just what I need. Despite other reviews which made me hesitant to buy it. It has not crashed, the images stitch together seamlessly, and it seems pretty logical to use. Take photos when the back ground is green, you've gone to far if it's red. Simple

Dumb

All of these reviews are full of you know what. This app is horrible, it's not even correctly syncing the images together, and very buggy. Not to mention that for a 2.99 app, I would expect decent graphics. Could not even compile an accurate wide angle photo. And the screenshots do not accurately depict how the wide angle shot is captured, you have to pretty much move around your iPhone, which is not good for taking pictures with some moving objects

Description

Ultra Wide Angle 8mm Camera for iPhone and iPad, high level of accuracy and quality. The Ultra Wide Angle 8mm Camera app combines several frames into one continuous image. For example, you can take 3-20 overlapping frames of a city skyline, and then merge them into a ultra wide angle panorama.

This app can assemble photos that are tiled horizontally as well as vertically, and multi rows photos supported. INTERIORS & ENCLOSED SPACES You can take Ultra wide angle pictures in fairly confined spaces. A wide angle lens can be an absolute requirement in enclosed spaces, simply because one cannot move far enough away from their subject to get all of them in the photo (using a normal lens). A common example is photography of interior rooms or other indoor architecture. This kind of photography is also perhaps the easiest way to make the most of a wide angle lens — in part because it forces you to be close to the subject. And if you want to be able to get cool architectural features or interesting shots, then on vacation or anywhere, run Ultra Wide Angle 8mm Camera app. OVERLAP 30% In order for the Ultra Wide Angle 8mm Camera app to do all that clever merging, blending and stitching it needs a reference point to work out what goes where. Or more importantly, a big enough reference point. In experience 30% overlap is perfect. With 30% overlap you should be able to capture a scene in 5-16 successive shots. Note: 1. Choose a reference point about 20-30% away from the right edge of the viewfinder 2. Swivel the camera to the right until your reference point is at the left edge of the viewfinder 3. Take the picture 4. Repeat until you have taken photos that cover the entire area you wish to capture in your panorama Overlap the images – the images should overlap by at least 30%. Outside of this range, Photomerge may not be able to align the files correctly. Shoot vertical – this is a little counter-intuitive since we’re making panoramas. It’s usually best to shoot vertical (portrait orientation). Since you’ll merge multiple frames together later to get as wide as you need, shooting vertical will give you a taller overall panorama. Also, you’ll need some of this vertical space for cropping. More on cropping later.
