The game itself is awesome. I’ve played so many games with ads and while they are annoying, it’s not terrible. And I get it, I can pay the $3 and remove them but I won’t. The MAJOR complaint I have with this games ads is that the close ad options do not work. All other options like “open” or play video function though. I have to exit the app and restart it several times before the ad is gone. And most of the time it costs me lives. Super super annoying. Also, it’s often the same ad over and over again.
When will there be more levels?
I love this game. However, please update quicker with new levels. Seriously, it’s almost September. The last update with new levels was not enough. Also, agree with other reviews, please include a pause button, frustrating to lose lives when necessary to stop for phone calls or other things. Time extensions should cost like, 5 for $0.99.
Challenging but lacks support
I agree with the reviews that say you need money to keep having fun in this game. In a fit of weakness I purchased some power ups. Unfortunately, while I paid for them all I did not receive them all. There is nowhere on the app to report this. “Restore Purchases” just spins and spins and nothing happens. I finally found a website with a “contact us” link. I reported the problem but have not gotten a response.
Great game
Unfortunately, the developers ruin the experience by charging for everything. Why bother showing me how to rearrange letters and then only give me one or two chances to use before demanding money for this “feature”. Finding seven letter words is nearly impossible without this option.Too bad, really. I’ll be deleting out of frustration. Your incessant demands for cash have netted you zero revenue from me and have taken away a set of eyes for your advertisers.Thank you for reading.Good bye
Great game!!
This is probably my most favorite word game! It is all the cute fun of candy crush with the words or capitals (no longer made). I love this game!! I hope you come out with new levels soon! I didn’t have any issue with being forced to pay money. I did a couple time, but that was by my choice, rather than necessity. It is a reasonable and well-done game. I also hope you’ll add more fun tricks and challenges.
Unplayable without $$$
It’s a fun game, but the levels get too hard very quickly, and you can’t even get past this just by watching ads. Every level uses up all your power ups and then forces you to spend money just to be able continue. There are often traps, such as getting a Q with no U to accompany it, when the puzzle asks you to use every letter in the board, and the dictionary does not accept scrabble-accepted words such as QAT. Not inclined to spend a single dollar, since it’s clear that the game will keep requiring dollar after dollar. Not worth continuing to play.
Love the Game
I used to play a similar game on the PC years and years ago and have been looking for a similar app and I finally found you guys. Unfortunately, I finished all 150 levels and can’t wait for more. I really need these brain exercises!
Dollared to death
One of the most dissatisfying games I’ve ever played. It’s fun to play—and the developers know it. The meager amount of free play isn’t a big deal until you get up into the level 30-50 range, when the puzzles are hard enough to drain your free plays quickly. You have to pay a dollar to play for longer than a couple of minutes at that point. Otherwise, you can play for about 5-10 minutes and, when you run out of “lives,” wait a half hour to fill them and be able to play again. I know that apps like this are a business—and I don’t mind paying a little here and there. This app is more like a straight rip off. It becomes nearly unplayable if you don’t constantly pump dollars in like a slot machine.
Languages-Edit
I’ve found no problem with choosing your language, which is the first thing you do after opening the app. This is a fun game, which is challenging as you progress. It forces you to creatively think on your feet, since the levels are timed. Thanks for a great word game. Love it!New levels would be great!
Too Long To Recharge Lives
This is fun, but takes too long to recharge unless you PURCHASE lives. I got the app this morning, thinking it was one I used to play on my laptop (similar but not the same.). Anyway I ran out of lives after about 20 minutes (which includes the intro instructions); now, 8 hours later I still can’t play because my lives haven’t recharged. Way too many other app games out there so not sure this is a keeper or a bust. If it’s just one you can play 15 minutes once a day, it’s a bust.
